  1. At the top of the donation portal page, it would be helpful to have a dropdown box listing the fund beneficiaries so donors can view only those funds linked to the entity they wish to support.

  2. It would be nice on the bank reconciliation to show a list of outstanding items with the totals at the bottom of the bank reconciliation, so it's a complete report which will tie into the Balance Sheet.

  3. Be able to email / text an invite to campaign from a profile and/or campaign and when registered, not create a new profile. Ideally, have a user portal experience like the fund advisors. This would create ability to see donations, campaigns, ticket purchases, etc.

  4. Add more payment methods for Recurring Donations. I have some donors that prefer ACH'd donations every month that come directly to our Bank Account. It would be nice if I could add a recurring donation for the same amount every month and have it marked either Other Payment or Check.

  5. It would be nice to have the availability to bulk update/import/delete all fields on a record (profile, gift, grant, fund, etc)

    Because of the volume of each of those items in a database it become tedious and tiresome to do some of the most simple and routine task.

  6. With the downturn in the markets we have more funds than usual that are underwater and have no spendable income available to grant. Those funds are currently showing a negative number in the Fund Advisor Portal. This is confusing to Fund Advisors. Is it possible to update the calculations so that if the available to grant is negative it would show as a zero on the Fund Advisor Portal. Or is it possible to turn off the showing of the Available to Grant by fund instead of all or nothing?

  9. It would be nice to have the ability to set investment strategies by dollar amount and not just percentages. We have some funds that have multiple investment strategies and need to be able to hold a flat dollar amount rather than a percentage of the fund.

  10. Bring back the ability to pull all fund statements for funds under a specific fund advisor. Previous to the revamp of the fund statement workflow, there was an ability to select the Fund Statement ID for the specific month or quarter and to select "Print Individual." We could then generate a PDF file of all fund statements for that time period associated with a particular fund advisor. There is no way to do this in the new workflow, but we constantly have fund advisors calling and requesting all the fund statements for their funds. For those fund advisors managing more…

    Let's make this field editable so that folks who've changed the name of their Grant Catalog can offer consistent language for fund advisors.

  13. When generating the admin fees, I would like to see the total calculation that the fee is being processed on. It shows in a description box but not in a column on it's own (nor does it show the total). Would be very helpful to make sure fees are calculating on portfolio balances accurately. This was something that FIMS included on their admin fee report, it showed both the full portfolio balance along with the fee column.

We generate scholarship letters to both the school receiving the funds and to the students receiving the scholarship so they can send a thank-you to the donor making their scholarship available. The fields available to pull for scholarship letters do not include the fund contacts/donors of the scholarship, nor the name and address of the student receiving the scholarship, nor the student's name in First/Last order (only the Last/First order.) We created custom profile fields to pull out information that Foundant already has, but it is a cumbersome process. Can the fields/information available for the scholarship letters be reviewed to…

  15. Instead of having the Donate button in the Grant Catalog, have an field for each organization where an amount can be entered. This way a donor can give to mulitiple organizations without having to go back and forth from the catalog to the cart.

  16. There should be a way to know that a grantee is set up to receive ACH payments while you are entering the grant. Right now I have to go all the way back to the profile to see if they are ACH. This would help when choosing what letter template to use.

  17. It would be incredibly helpful if there was a sort feature in the till. I would love a sort feature to organize gift id numbers in order. During my busy season, this was a huge, time-consuming headache. I resorted to using Ctrl + F to locate all the gift numbers that I needed in my deposit.

  19. Some of our Funds are Fiscal Sponorships and we'd like to use the Fund Advisor Portal for them to submit vendor payment or reimbursement requests. At the moment, their only option is a grant distribution request and there is no way to copy or reclassify the grant w/o manually re-entering the info.

  20. If a scholarship is retired or no longer being used, the ability to inactivate it would be helpful. This would allow that list of scholarships in the scholarships menu to just reflect active scholarships.
