An error occurred while saving the comment Jesika Ellis commentedSeems to me this could easily be accomplished by adding area/module checkbox options to all notes, similar to the ones we are offered when creating an Alert from a note....

An error occurred while saving the comment Jesika Ellis commentedSKYE and HOLLY - If you're going to pursue this idea, be aware that adding any additional addresses, emails, phone, etc to an Org profile will 100% prevent accurate mapping from GLM. So please test thoroughly - or better yet, fix the incredibly fragile map requirements from GLM!! We have to delete data frequently just to get grants mapped over to CSuite (mostly caused by the person submitting the request/attached to the grant not being the person represented on the profile, though still an employee of that org - i.e. the Grant Writer vs the ED), and then we either have to repopulate that data afterwards or simply say, "Oh, well! Lost that data!"

An error occurred while saving the comment Jesika Ellis commentedNow that the Profiles enhancements are in place, we have Engagement and Relationships on separate screens, each with their own separate action options from the left menu. It would be ideal to make each tab Permissions specific only to that tab - leaving the ability for staff to Edit the main Profile info (contact info), while restricting any Editing of Engagement or Relationship settings.
While on the Engagement tab, the actions to Edit and Add to Campaign go away as options *if we restrict Edit permissions for Profiles as a whole* - likewise, in Relationships, the actions to Edit, Edit Links/Roles, Edit Profile Type, and Edit Interest Type also go away *if we restrict Edit permissions for Profiles as a whole.* All this is, IMO, good; HOWEVER, this also restricts the ability of staff to make address changes and other contact info updates, which we DO want them to be able to edit.
Anyhoo ... seems there is a better structure now in place to tease out these permissions more specifically per tab.

An error occurred while saving the comment Jesika Ellis commentedFrom Support today: "Within CSuite, if Salutation is left blank, the Mailing Label will appear in its place. If the Mailing Label is also blank, the prefix, first name, and last name will appear (for organizations this would just be Organization Name).
This results in a Salutation field that is never truly blank."This is not how fields should work, especially if this causes the fields to not behave correctly in conditional fields (i.e. a blank Salutation is never truly blank?!?! That's crazy talk.)
Why can't all fields be pulled as they are (including prefix, first, and last name) and be available for use in CSuite templates appropriately?

An error occurred while saving the comment Jesika Ellis commentedHow has this still not happened? The name field ALREADY provides the prefix, first name, and last names separately - surely there is some coding wizardry that can automatically concatenate these fields in standard permutations to create the salutation and mailing field?!
An error occurred while saving the comment Jesika Ellis commentedI wish I could vote for this 1,000 times!
