Dropdown Menu for State and City
Create dropdown question for locations (State, City) when organizations are creating their profiles on Foundant. As we run reports, I have noticed that organizations will misspell cities, write city names in ALL CAPS, abbreviate state names, or write state names in ALL CAPS. This presents a problem when generating reports and having to go back and clean all that. It would be great if organizations had the option to select the state where they are located from a drop down menu, then choose the city they are located in from a drop down menu as well. This would generate clean,…

Collaborator Receive Emails
I love the collaborator feature! Here come the but. But it would be great if the collaborator could receive emails as well as the applicant. I have several executive directors that submit and application but then want someone else to complete the follow ups.

Sync Sandbox with Live
Wouldn't it be great to "Sync Dev" as we do in CSuite in order to test proc esses with up-to-date information, forms, reports, etc. ? This could be extremely helpful to those of us who are just getting used to GLM and all the nuances!

Allow Adding Custom Columns to All Pages - Especially Organization Summary
The Organization Summary Page currently shows Status, Amount Grant, and Amount Paid. It does not allow us to readily see which of our Program Staff a grant is assigned to. As we award multiple grants to one specific organization and oftentimes, those grants are assigned to different Program Staff in our office, it would be wonderful to see at a glance, which PS person a grant is assigned to. Similar to the way we are able to add a few custom columns to the Follow Ups Submitted page, we should be able to do the same on ALL pages we…

Reminder for Multiyear grants
The system does not notify me when the next payment is due and I was just wondering if that could be something added as I tend to forget. I thought this would be a nice feature especially for Community Foundation who have multiyear grants/installments throughout many years.
We also grant some funds in three year cycles as they are smaller funds with highly specific designations. I would love a way to check each grant and what year they are in using the installment form. It would be great just to schedule a reminder for ourselfs.

Adding shared questions
Selecting multiple questions when adding a shared question. Also, when creating a question field maybe a prompt could appear alerting the question already exists and if you would like to use that one instead.

Delete users
DELETE USERS
It would be most helpful to be able to DELETE (not just deactivate) Users. We don't want to keep a bunch of outdated/not relevant /even deceased contacts under "inactive" if we don't have to. We have to keep some Users as "inactive" with dummy emails in order to show concurrent affiliations - so it's already a busy place for us.85 votes -
Add custom columns feature to the Request History page
We'd like to be able to see the Request Amount next to the Grant Amount on the Request History page. Adding the custom columns feature to this page would be very helpful.

Grant Request Amount on Application Packet
The cycle, organization name, project name, and applicant print on the cover page. Any way to add the amount requested? Seems like that would be helpful to many wanting that cover page to be a snapshot.

Attachments in the grant application - build on until size limit has been met
Allow the grantees to add multiple attachments until the size limit has been met per attachment item. As it is only one attachment at a time. Any added after the first cancels out the first attachment.

batch charity check
Batch Charity Check
I would love to be able to run a batch charity check. Ideally, I should be checking charity status at the time an application is received (prior to bringing to the board for recommendation) and again once payment is being processed. We have to board cycles a year with approx. 150-175 grants per each cycle. Does anyone have any workarounds they've put in place?43 votes -

Reminder texts
We are a scholarship organization and fund students for four years of undergraduate study. We contact them at least three times per year via your email system, and the students don't respond very well to emails anymore. Local high schools have said, "Why don't you use REMIND.COM or the like - just text your scholarship recipients instead of email reminders." We collect our students mobile phone numbers - can you incorporate a text reminder program into your software processes? Thanks, Jim K. - keep up your good work!

popup reminder to view print packet when submitting application
As mentioned previously by Angie in this suggestion (http://idealab.foundant.com/forums/339786-glm-idea-lab/suggestions/12344550-print-packet-option-by-save-and-submit-buttons), applicants aren't really using the print packet option to check for file upload errors or for changes in the text (which sometimes occur after pasting in and saving the application). I like Angie's idea of a button, or possibly a popup reminder ("Are you ready to submit - have you looked at the print packet to see if there were any errors in text or uploads?"). Either way, maybe "Preview" or "Preview Application" would make more sense than "Print Packet" to the applicant.

System Administrator Comments visibility checkbox
Currently, when an Administrator adds comments to the system Admin Comments fields there is a checkbox to show the comments to applicant. If the checkbox is checked for the applicant to view the comments, the Evaluators will not see the comment. If the box is not checked, evaluators will see the comment.
Ideally, there is another check box that prevents both evaluators and applicants from viewing the comments. It should be an "Admin only" checkbox.

Administrator Comments in Quick Report for Submissions.
As we are running a quick report for Submissions, we found it would be helpful if one the fields we could include would be Administrator Comments. In our process, we have two administrators reviewing and there are actions that must be taken with each applicant to supply more info, clarify a narrative, or upload new documents. Instead of having to open each and every application to see these comments, the option to have them in the quick report would save a lot of time.
