  1. We'd love the ability to move the search for a fund bar to the bottom of the page. This isn't where we want donors to focus and having it at the top isn't ideal!
    Thanks.

  2. We have multiple funds that either roll some or all of their spendable to the principal balance each year to grow the fund or for a specified amount of time (until the donors' death for example). Currently, you can not select the source fund as the beneficiary. It would be nice to be able to do so, so that we can automate these grants annually.

In funds on the relationship tab it is possible to add beneficiary to a fund. That Beneficiary can be a fund or grantee.

  3. We need a text box on the campaign page that's HTML friendly so we can better customize these campaign landing pages!

Campaigns: Updated Campaigns Ticket Header on the Detail Tab with rich text editor. This will allow for easier content creation. Unified ticket must be enabled in Campaign settings.

  4. Currently a Fund's unique donation link can only be found by navigating to the Giving Hub and searching for that Fund, then copying the link from the search bar. That link should be available directly in the Fund profile.

This is found on the fund record on the Settings tab under Giving Hub table

  5. In the new portal, when a grant catalog is visible to fund advisors there are two options after you choose to donate to the grant catalog - 1. complete a donation through the Giving Hub, 2. choose Grant Request to request a grant through the fund advisor's DAF. We currently only market our Grant Catalogs to our DAF holders to encourage them to use their DAF spendables to support local non-profits. It is confusing to have both options available. Could the "Donate" option be turned on or off at our discretion instead of always included?

9/3/2025:Feature: Grant Catalog Enhancements for Give Day

We have completely reimagined the Grant Catalog with comprehensive updates designed to support Give Day campaigns and provide greater flexibility in grant management.

    Detail Tab Enhancements:

Fund Integration: Added Fund field to Grant Catalog, enabling setup of dedicated catalog funds for streamlined grant organization.

Grant Type Categories: Redesigned functionality to use Grant Types as categories, allowing categories to display at the top of grant catalogs populated from Grantee or Fund records.

Request Form Customization: New Request Form Options provide complete control over required fields for grantees, including the ability to relabel input fields for a better user experience.

    Fund Management Tools:

Add/Remove Fund Menu: New left-side menu option simplifies fund filtering and catalog management.

    Enhanced Fund Selection:

    • View funds with Fund Summaries for informed selection.
    • Use the Summary checkbox to include fund information in the grant catalog.
    • Streamlined…
  6. Currently, when a Fund's spendable balance is $0.00 it does not show on the portal. It would be helpful for Fund Advisors to know their spendable balance has been exhausted.

2/6/2025:Portal Options - Portal Settings - Summary Options - Display Spendable balance (if Hide Spendable is not enabled) as 0.00 if spendable balance is null.

  7. In the Fund Advisor portal, on the Catalog Request Form, there is no indication (such as with an asterisk) which fields are required, so a NPO copmleting the form must click the submit button before they are advised which fields are required. It would be helpful if required fields could indicate they were required when the form is first loaded.

Currently, if they click the "next" button without completing ALL the required fields, it just clears out the form. Would also be helpful if we could add sub-directions for each field. For instance, put "max 200 characters" as sub-directions for…

  8. When building a Campaign, when you choose to have an additional donations as an option, it changes the checkout process and requires the registrant's address even if they do not choose to to donate. This has caused confusion for some registrants with the extra steps as many of our events are free but have additional donation as an option.
It would be much more ideal for the additional donation and the registrant info field to be on the same page, then have them enter more complete info if they need to enter payment info.

    1. Unified Ticket Workflow:
    • Instead of individual ticket fields, everything is now located on one registration page. On the events tickets constituent will have the ability to select a quantity for each ticket type, and add an additional donation, if enabled. There will be a new order summary box on the right hand side, so that the registrant can easily track their purchases or cancel a line. The checkout workflow will remain the same. Individual tickets have been impacted with this change some of the individual ticket fields have been moved to the Campaign's Details Tab.
    1. New Ticket Fields on the Details Tab:
    • Ticket Additional Donation: This field now applies to the overall campaign and is positioned below the list of tickets.
    • Ticket Additional Donation Label: A customizable label that users can customize, if additional donations will be accepted for the campaign.
    • Ticket Notes: The…
  9. Affiliate portal users, who can recommend a grant from one of multiple funds under the Affiliate, are unable to search for grantees in the new portal like they could in the legacy portal. They can manually enter a grantee or select from a previous grantee and then select the funding source.

If the user has the grant request permission on behalf of the affiliate, they should be able to search for a grantee and then select the funding source. Searching now generates an error to contact Foundant support (we'd also prefer users aren't directed to contact support).

7/15/2025: Portal - Profile: Updated the system to send a confirmation email to the profile's primary email on file with what profile fields are updated. The email includes details of the specific fields that were changed. This is a new email for the person logging into the portal, not the notification email that sends to the user.

    1. Need ability to apply campaigns to internal transfers. Occasionally an internal DAF contributes and we have no way to record that.
    2. Is there a way to automatically apply a campaign to any donations that hit a certain fund during a set time period? We are getting credit card donations and having to manually apply them to the campaign.

We’ve introduced a new Fundraising campaign type in CSuite. This option allows users to create campaigns that do not require tickets, but still accept donations.

This is ideal for organizations looking to fundraise without hosting a ticketed event. It enables easy tracking of income and expenses associated with the campaign, making it perfect for general fundraising efforts, donation drives, or cause-based initiatives.

    Key Details:

    • New Campaign Type: Users can now select Fundraising as a campaign type when creating a new campaign.
    • Donation-Only Focus: Fundraising campaigns are structured to accept donations exclusively, without the need for other campaign activities.
    • Layout and Design:
    • The campaign layout will mirror the fund listing layout for a familiar and streamlined donor experience.
    • Donation amounts will display based on Giving Levels configured in Portal Options, Giving Hub settings. If no levels are set, Donation with input box will appear.
    • Tax Receipts:
    • Donors will receive tax receipts…

  14. Consider adding Donation Comments/Donation Notes to be visible under the Grantee and Fund Advisor tabs (similar to how they are now available on the donor tab).

The Donation Comments/Donation notes were recently added to the donation portal, but we find the larger use case is for the Grantee and the Fund Advisor to see the Donation comments in their portal tabs. Without this, they are missing important context and have to be interacted with manually by our staff to continuosly provide this information.

  15. Reposting with more clarification-

We need the ability to style Affiliate/SO Portals on the back end, previously this was in the "Donor Portal Fund" section of styles (see attached screenshot). Currently, all of our affiliate/SO funds will lose their specific branding if we enable the new Portal enhancements. We consider this a priority to move toward the new portal to ensure our partner funds/foundations are properly identified to their stakeholders.

    • 1/30/2025: Styles - Portal: Added an option to create a style for a for an affiliate group. In Styles, select Add Style then select Portal Affiliate Style. This will apply to the affiliate org and related funds. There is not an option to style the login page for the affiliate.
  16. When using Campaigns to track attendance post-event, each guest must be manually marked as Attended. This is extremely time consuming for large events. Please develop a bulk option or add this to an import.

Currently when we use Campaigns to track event attendance we have to import the profiles, then sell a guest ticket or use Upload IDs to add to Campaign in bulk, then manually mark each attendee. This is a lot of work for a 1,000 person event!

    • (05-14-2025) Campaigns: Added the ability to import RSVP and Attendance for Campaigns. This will allow clients to easily update RSVP and Attendance for their events. In Campaigns, on the Profiles tab, and then from the Guest List, users will find the new left-side menu Import RSVP and Attendance. This new import will allow users to import both RSVP and Attendance, using the Guest ID or dedc ID. The dedc ID has been added to the Guest list report to allow users to easily download and filter from the guest list. RSVP and Attendance can be updated simultaneously, or users can choose to update only one by removing the other column from the import file. This enhancement streamlines event management by enabling quick and accurate updates to guest information.
  17. When you submit a support request ticket, you receive an email reply with the ticket number, but it would be very helpful if a copy of the request or a brief description of the request was included in this email. If you have submitted more than one support ticket, it is hard to tell what number goes to what request.

2/15/2025:Portal - Portal Options - Portal Settings - Donor: Added new settings for the Donor page in the portal to display household and/or advised donations. With the Show Household Donations, a donor can view their individual donations and the household's donations. They will not be able to see any other household member's individual's donations. With the Show Show Advised Donations, a donor can view their individual advised donations.

Portal-Donors: Added Household and Advised columns to the donation listing. This will allow donors to see if a donation is an advised donation or a household donation, if the setting is enabled in Portal Settings-Donor: Show Household and Show Advised Donations. These columns were also added to the export.

  19. (Reposting an archived idea) Please add the ability to link multiple beneficiary profiles to one opportunity. It is common for us to track gifts (e.g. bequests or planned gifts) that will end up benefiting multiple organizations in our community, and we would like to be able to report on opportunities benefiting each organization without having to create duplicate opportunities for each beneficiary of a gift.

🔄 New Feature: Assign Multiple Profiles to a Single Opportunity

    Overview:

We’ve introduced the ability to assign multiple profiles to a single opportunity through a new field called Connected Profile, Secondary Assignee, Professional Advisor, Connected Profiles, Additional Beneficiary. This enhancement improves tracking and visibility across both Opportunity and Profile records.

    ✅ Opportunities Enhancement
    • A new Connected Profile field has been added to the Opportunity record.
    • Users can now associate multiple additional profiles with a single opportunity.
    • This allows for greater flexibility and accuracy in managing complex or shared opportunities.
    • The Secondary Assignee field is multi-select.
    • All assigned users will have visibility.
    • This enhancement improves visibility, accountability, and teamwork on shared Opportunities.
    • A new field called Professional Advisor has been added to the Opportunity record
    • This field is located under the Connected Profile section.
    • Supports multiple profiles
    • Enables better tracking and association of professional advisors with each opportunity.
