Delete Default Templates
I created a template I need to delete. I can't delete it because it is the default, and there is no other template in that category. We just don't need one in that category. But having one bad one isn't great either - I just want to delete it.

Change State Search in Portal to Table
When you search for an org on the portal in the GrantReq tab using the name of the org and the city and state, but type out the state name, it does not show any results. You have to format the text field as the two digit code (OH, VA, etc.) not the name (e.g. Ohio, Virginia, etc).
Can this state field be changed to a table rather than text field? Or can it be inclusive of both state codes and states spelled out so it's user-friendly?

Complete Multiple Grants at One Time
I would like an option to complete multiple grants all at one time, but not ALL grants. Our organization utilizes this function to track when our organizations have submitted their completed grant reports on how funds were used. We process grants and two different types of scholarships. We don't need grant reports for scholarships so I want to mark them complete right after processing them. Right now though this is an all or nothing feature from what I can tell so I have to manually go into each grant and complete it because I don't want to bulk complete all…

Organization Name in Financial Header
We'd like to be able to add the organization name field to the header on the financial statements. We have several affiliate/supporting organizations that we run financials for so we don't want to the foundation's name as the default. Rather, we'd like to add a field to the header to allow for the name of each organization to automatically populate when we run financial statements.

Make Grant Description optional in the Donor Portal
Recently the grant description field was marked as required for the Donor Portal via another IdeaLab. However this is a burden for us and our fundholders (and I imagine some of your other clients too).
I would love to this the grant description field be a Donor Portal Setting checkbox where the field could be optionally required. This would meet the needs of all of your clients, empowering them to set up the portal in the best way to support their operations.
We are worried that more of our fundholders will restrict their grants if this field is required and…

Fund Advisors should be able to export (or at LEAST sort) voucher payments in the new portal. this was a feature in the old portal. why was it removed? thanks!

Affiliate styling missing in the portal for donors with access to more than 1 affiliate fund
For donors with access to affiliate funds, we have a way to apply different styling to the login page that they access through a specific URL. We’re also able to apply the same affiliate styling to the funds that they access in the portal. What we don’t currently have is a way to apply affiliate styling to their fund selection page in the portal. If a donor has access to more than 1 affiliate fund, the fund selection page only shows the main Portal Style.

Show Multiyear Grants in Grant Summary table as they are paid
True multiyear grants that are approved once and paid out over several years do not show up in the grant summary table (grant tab of the Grantee designation) until the final payable is paid out. After the final payment, the entire grant amount is shows only in the approved year, which could be serval years prior. Now that this table is also shown in the Grantee portal, it provides an incomplete picture of the yearly grant summary when multiyears are involved, and causes customer confusion when the entire amount suddenly appears years in the past.

10 votes2/6/2025:Profiles-Grantee: Added a new Grant Award table on the Grantee's Grant tab, Grant Award Summary. This will display all grants that have been awarded to the Grantee. This table will summarize grants in the posted, vouchers, paid, and completed grant status. If the users are using the approval setting in Grant's workflow, the grants will not appear in the Grant Award Summary table until after the approval.
Portal-Grantee: Updated the Portal to use the Grant Award Table for Grantee designations. This will show grantees a more holistic view of the grants. File search, download and delete
We are uploading documents to CSUITE for ease of access but we need to follow our record retention policy and need an easy way to sort files, download multiple files, and delete in bulk. It would be great if we had the option to do all those functions based on file categories and dates.
13 votesThere is already an option built to bulk delete files. A user must have the Bulk Delete permission set in Files. In Files, filter by created Ts date and/or File Cat Name. There is then an option to bulk delete on the left side menu. Here is the link to the support hub article.

Guest list doesn't export yes RSVP's if they didn't enter in guests or meal preference
We held an event in November and appreciate all of the functions in campaigns. However, in the specific campaign we created, we would go to "Profiles" then "guest list" and there was guests who bought tickets online, but did not finish putting their guest names and meals because they didn't realize they needed to do that.
We have two suggestions. It would be nice if there is something before check-out to purchase tickets that says guests will need to enter their guest names and meal preferences after check out.

This update provides the ability to filter and export the report for enhanced flexibility and analysis. "To Assign" column has been added to the Ticket Report. This new column allows users to quickly view the number of tickets that are yet to be assigned, streamlining the ticket management process. When selecting the Ticket Report, users will see a Resend Guest Link option in the left-side menu. This is a bulk action and will allow the ability to resend the Guest Link.

Nonprofit Directory: Option to hide email and phone columns
On the Nonprofit Directory settings, add option to 'display' or 'hide' the 'Email' and 'Phone' columns so we have the ability to just display a list of the Nonprofit Organizations.

Remove Grant Request from Left Nav Menu
In the new portal if Grant Request is turned on the Create Grant Request button displays on all the pages - which is great. However, there is a Grant Request item in the left Nav bar that is VERY CONFUSING. This does not navigate to anything useful, it's a list of past grants, that is already available on the Grants nav page. Please remove this Nav item and simply toggle the Create Grant Request button on or off depending on the system settings for this.

New Portal: We should have the option not to show Interest Types on Portal
We use Interest Types internally and do not want them listed publicly on the new Portal when Fundholders or Donors login in. They are not currently listed in the old Fund Portal but are listed as soon as someone logs into the new Portal.
I reached out to support to figure out how to turn these off and they said "After connecting with my CSuite team, they have informed me that there isn't a way to hide the Interest Types at the moment. They recommended submitting this enhancement idea to Idea Lab."
We shouldn't be forced to show Interest Types…

Make Edit Recurring Grants tied to Advisor permissions
In the new portal, the permissions are such that ANY advisor listed on a fund can edit a recurring grant, even if those advisors dont have any edit permissions on the fund. In the old portal you needed GrantReq permission to edit, but that is not the case for recurring grants in the new portal. Please consider not allowing anyone with any fund access to edit recurring grants, and instead, restrict access to those who create the request or others as assigned specifically.

Send auto email to FA's with unsubmitted grants in cart
Send an automatic email after unsubmitted grants have been in the list cart for 10 days. Or make this an option we can choose to implement.
32 votesThis is an option with the new portal. The setting is found in Portal Options<Portal Settings<Fund Advisor in the bottom table. Request Options and Automated Cart Reminder Email. With this enabled, Fund Advisors will receive an email once a week if there are items left in their cart.In the Portal Content Area, you will need to complete the Advisor Abandoned Cart Email Body.

Maintain features exclusive to fund advisors in the donation portal
The "all-in-one" donation portal is going to cause foundations problems with fund advisors based on how it is currently being configured. We have adapted the new portal, and we so far have discovered the following issues: 1. Fund advisors can no longer donate to their own fund through the portal without either a)making their fund public; or b) send them a link to their fund that defeats the purpose of giving them access to the portal for all their fund needs. Portal-Grantee: Added Show Grant Award Letters and Show Grant Letters as a global setting in the Portal Options, Portal settings, Grantee tab. This will allow foundations the ability to show or hide these letters from the Portal.

Allow Donor Addresses on Donations to be pulled for reports
The donor addresses found on donation records are not available to include in custom reports. Since the address on a donation may differ from what's found on a donor's profile, it would help to be able to view donation addresses through custom reports and exports. Right now, it requires manually viewing individual donations in the system to see that information.

Donation Portal: Giving levels by fund
Would love to be able to create giving levels specific to each fund. Different funds have different giving expectations.

This will override the Giving Hub giving levels, if they are set. This will allow users the ability set different giving levels per fund, in addition to the global setting.
