Would like to have the ability to enter multiple budgets (i.e. for different funds)

Improve Campaign Requests
Requests should be available to people when they register the first time as individuals (they should only have to register ONCE at that), because people don't think to add a guest. Our community members definitely haven't figured this out, and it's too confusing to explain to them. When a user registers under an organization, there should be a first and last name option so we know who is representing the org at the event, etc.
We would GREATLY appreciate these changes before the production launch in April!! We want the registration process for folks to be as streamlined and simple…
12 votes9/6/2023: Campaigns: Added the ability to add a Request Type to a campaign. This will allow clients to organize more that one request type on a campaign. Request Types can be multiselect or single select. The Request Type Name field can hold up to 255 characters. Current requests will appear in a n/a group until a request type is created and assigned to the request. Clients may take caution in changing since these have all been multiselect to make sure and note which item was selected for the ticket purchaser before modifying the request.

May 2023 Release Feedback - Filters
The update in the Sandbox removed the ability to load saved filters when pulling a list. For example from Profiles if you click List in the Live site you can load previously saved Filters. In the Sandbox there is no ability to load saved Filters. We have 14 saved filters set up that we use regularly. In the Sandbox you’d have to rebuild the filters.
Same for Notes, when you click "Reports" on the left menu in the Sandbox there's an error - invalid or missing note ID. We have several saved notes filters in Live that we use regularly.

Fund Statements
It would be great if the fund statement section in the fund would default to being collapsed or just showing the most recent statements. We have been on csuite for less than 2 years and the list taking over the screen when viewing funds.
Currently, the user can collapse the statement listing but it returns to the entire list something is done in the fund like opening a saved document.11 votes8/2/2023: Funds: Updated UI to align with look and feel of profiles and campaigns. The fund record now has a header which contains the main fund information and is available on all tabs. In order to organize fund information and limit the left side menu options, the following tabs have been added: Details, Relationships, Settings, Fund Statements, Files & Notes.
On the Details tab, clients will see the main details of the fund such as: short name, creation date, fund groups, and the fund assets sections. We have also moved budget and loans, from the Options settings to Details card . Reports are still located on the Detail’s Tab, but have all been grouped under on left hand menu: Reports. Once Reports is selected a new page will appear and all of the Reports will appear in the left hand menu.
On the Relationship's Tab clients will find Scholarships, Beneficiaries,…

Open Profile Custom Fields to Initial Data Entry
In the release today, May 3rd, when creating a new profile, the custom fields are not available for initial entry. This causes a significant increase in time to enter each field individually as the fields are also unavailable through the main Edit option. Please open custom fields for data entry with initial profile creation.

Change the language of finalizing donation.
"cart" seems tacky, don't you think?? donors aren't buying anything!!
Make donation now, complete donation, anything would be better.

Tax Receipt labels/envelope order
It may just be me, but....it seems like if I print envelopes or labels from the donations-tax receipt section, they are in different order. And that order differs from the order in which the letters print. Can that be fixed (and if it's a user error, can someone please just let me know?) :)

Donations: Enhanced Tax Receipt Bulk Actions to save the selected list of donations. This will allow clients to make a selection of the Tax Receipts and then process through Printing letters, Envelopes, Labels and Marking the donations sent. This update will also print the envelopes in the same order as the letters.

Ability to Sign Up For E-Newsletter (checkbox) When Making an Online Donation
There should be a way for an online donor to sign up for our e-newsletter as a part of their online donation process. This could be done by adding a check box that says "sign up for our e-newsletter" or something similar. Should be located directly below where they enter in their email address.
7 votes12/6/2023: Funds: Enhanced Funds Bulk Edit to include Short Summary, Internal Description Field, and Fund Summary. This will allow clients to easily update several funds at a time. The Short Summary field will also allow for HTML language. This Short Summary will be used on the Donation Page with the new release.

3% stripe fee wording
When donors go to checkout at the required checkout information and they can add the percentage to help cover the Stripe processing fees, the wording at the checkbox is not accurate. The default screen for the added percentage should read "to help offset the credit card processing fees" as we all know that this percentage does not cover 100% of the fees.

Donation Settings: Added a new content area for the Donation Portal. These new settings are found in Donation Settings: Cover CC Fee Title, Cover CC Fee Description, Anonymous Title, Anonymous Description.
-Cover CC Fee Title is a customizable label to let donor's opt into covering the donation fees on the Donation Portal.
-Cover CC Fee Description is a customizable description field next to the Cover CC Fee Title on the Donation Portal.
-Anonymous Title is a customizable label to let donor's opt select to have the donation remain anonymous from the Donation Portal.
-Anonymous Description is a customizable description field next to the Anonymous Title on the Donation Portal to allow foundations a longer explanation to donors.
Within Community Suite, label fields will be limited 60 characters, tabs to 40 characters, and the descriptions to 255 characters. -
profile type
Is there a way we can select a Profile Type and add profiles to that type instead of having to go into each individual profile, edit and add the Profile type?

Smaller icons on the new home page design?
Wow, this new home page design is a lot to take in... Any chance you can make the icons smaller in the first two rows on the new home page design? I'm finding it difficult to scan across and find what I need with all of the noise.
1 voteSite: Resolved the issue of the larger icons in the System Configuration and The Profile Designations. Also, move the two horizontal menus to the bottom of the vertical menus for a better workflow.

grant dashboard
The new dashboards are excellent. Are there plans to create a Grants dashboard similar to the others? If so, I would like to suggest it be filterable by Fund Type, Service Area, date ranges, and grant type. This would be very helpful for board reporting and analysis of grant activity and trends.
6 votes8/2/2023: Scholarships: A default dashboard has been added to the left side menu option in Scholarships, Students, Grants and Grantees. All data in this dashboard populates based on the Scholarship Award Date and Grants will populate from Grant Date.
Permissions: Dashboard permission has been added to Scholarships, Students, Grants, and Grantees. These permissions are enabled for the Admin group.

Profiles-May Release-more feedback
Is it possible to have the Create Voucher, Create Grant, Create Donation on the Details tab in the left hand menu without having to first click on a Designation? Getting to have too many clicks to navigate to needed screen.

Inactive profile should not allow you to process any transaction against it. (Gift or Grant)
When a profile is marked INACTIVE, you should not be able to cut a check or a grant or post a donation. We had a grant check go out in error to an inactive profile. At the very minimum there should be a warning that you are processing on an inactive profile. FIMS did not allow you to have transactions pushed through on an inactive record.
151 votes5/3/2023: Profiles have a new a look with this enhancement. Foundant is excited to take so many of the User submitted ideas from idea lab and make them happen in the software. Our highest voted idea lab submission was the ability to identify the main profile data regardless of the designation.
The profile summary includes the information needed when working with constituents. The primary profile data will now be static at the top of the page regardless of the designation page that is being viewed. This summary includes an image, primary contact information, last donation date and pronouns. With this new layout there will be an icon next to the profiles name at the header. This will allow a User to easily identify an individual, household, or organization record. Images have also been added to the top header box for easy reference as well. Fund Advisor Portal: Allow Show History be an Individual Fund Setting
We like the History Charts displayed on the Home Page on our Fund Advisor Portal. However, because we are using SLM for our Hardships Funds, we would like to disable these charts for our Hardships funds because it is confusing for them to see their hardships grants listed as "Scholarships" and their hardships recipients listed as "Students".
We would like the option to turn on History on a Fund-by-Fund level.
4 votesThere is a current option in a fund record titled "show history on portal". This can be disabled on a fund by fund basis currently.

Opportunities - Column Sort functionality is not working
The columns in each of the buckets have the ability to alpha sort (or largest-smallest), but it does not work--or seems to only work randomly. It takes several clicks to actually get the column to sort alpha or reverse alpha. If they are not supposed to be sorted, please remove the sort icon at the headers.

JULY UPDATE - Tributes Non-Notify report
We need to be able to pull a report of ALL tributes, non-notify and notify, for our annual report. It appears with the new Tribute changes that may not be possible.
4 votes8/2/2023: Tributes: In order to manage tributes more efficiently, a new workflow has been designed for Tributes.
The Tribute list view is now a custom report with the ability to sort each column and have the ability to apply filters, save filtered lists, export, email and load for future use. On the left hand menu, there is also a new Delete Unused menu item. This will allow clients to delete any unused tributes that do not have donations attached to the tribute or if the tribute does not have associated notify information. If the notify address or email information is not completed, the tribute information will move to a non-notify tribute field. This will allow clients to retain the information about the tribute on the donation in a text field.

Relative Current and Prior Fields Should include Week
Please add "Week" as an option for the relative current and prior fields. We run several weekly reports and would love to have them automated.

Custom Reports: Enhanced Custom Reports to have a Save As option. This will allow clients to start with a report and make changes without losing that report. When saving a report, clients will now see a description field. This field can use this to create a description of the report which will be visible in the Custom Report list. In addition, there is now a new column for the creation date of the report. This will allow a User to identify when the report was created. A relative week date filter has been added. Selecting this filter will return data based on a Monday-Sunday week.

"Click to drill in" on Amount Awarded by year on dashboard
It would be so helpful if there was an option to drill in to the awarded amount by year on the dashboard.
1 vote- 11/21/2023: Dashboards: Added drillable fields to the remaining dashboards: Opportunities, Campaigns, Grants, Grantees, Vendors, Vouchers, Scholarships, Students. Users will now be able to drill down from the charts, graphs, and number to see the custom reports from where the data is populated. Users will see that the mouse will turn into a pointer on the fields that are drillable.

Better Layout for User Experience of Grant Catalog Features
Our foundation recently started using the grant catalogue publicly, meaning that it is going to have many projects added to it that public donors will be searching to fund. Currently, the view is not very user friendly and write ups appear in a very small column that is difficult to sort through for a user.
I'm proposing introducing a "Card View" where you can show 2 or 3 cards per column, and each card has information like:
- Image
- Organization Name
- Project Title
- Short Description (short excerpt from the full description)
- Request Amount
- Amount Funded…
