  1. As a large foundation, we believe the proper way to manage grant approvers is by allowing specific users authority at the fund level. More specifically, this is almost always based on Fund Group, SubGroup, Division, or Segment. It’s very difficult to manage this, though. When assigning approvers, you have to manually choose each fund they can approve, one by one. There’s no way to filter the list of funds, and there’s no batch update function.   3. Currently, if you click "Delete" on a recurring grant, there is no page to say "Are you sure you want to delete this item?". Once deleted, there is no way to find the recurring grant record to add a note.

    We have an internal policy to NOT delete recurring grant records for this reason, and instead max out the occurrence so the record moves to closed/inactive, but we maintain the records.

    I have accidentally hit "Delete" when I am intended to click "Edit", luckily only for recurring grant records where I am trying to close out the request, but one…

  4. Can a process be created where we can upload in bulk internal grants? Each year there are many funds in Community Suite that transfer funds to our Grant Making fund. It would be quicker and easier if this were able to be completed with a CSV upload instead of having to do all the steps of an internal grant multiple times.

  5. Homer CF would like the option to create a grant without assigning a specific fund so an award letter can be issued to the grantee.

    Next steps would be to add the fund, post grant, move forward in buckets accordingly.

  6. VOTE FOR GRANT LETTERS!!! 1 - Allow for the grant type AND grant letter template to be two custom fields on the import template. 2 - Allow the signed letters that are uploaded and saved to C-suite, to be emailed from C-suite.

  8. We have several multiyear grants that are tied to one application. Once we process the first payment, the remaining payments are listed under voucher even though they are not due for a year or two. Can we get a "place hold" button for these multiyear grants so we don't accidently initiate payment?

  9. Add organization name as a column in the charity check log to more easily confirm that the right Tax ID is in the profile. Right now, if you need to confirm that a grantee has the right Tax ID on file, you have to run a new charity check.

  10. The notes that are automatically saved to grantee profiles when a grant award letter is sent do not include emails that were cc'd, nor is the attachment included. There is a link where a file could be attached, but it gives me an error and I don't want to have to manually attach grant award letters to each note on a grantee profile anyway.

    When emailing grant award letters from CSuite, we have added a note in the Other Detail field on grantee emails that they are for grant notifications, but this detail isn't available as a field to pull…

  11. When you go visit an organization's page in C-Suite, it would be great to show a list of GLM submissions that you could click to open the PDF, much like the list of grants can open the individual grants. These could be arranged by date, so you could easily see the most recent.

  12. Enable entry of Grant Type on Refund Grants to ensure accurate grant reporting. This will allow grants to be correctly grouped by Grant Type in reporting. Currently, capturing this information requires manual adjustments in Excel after exporting the report.

  13. In recurring grant records, the Delete button is directly beneath the Edit button. It's easy to click it mistakenly, and there is no secondary confirmation screen to confirm the deletion was intentional before it's done. Please add a secondary step to confirm a record should be deleted to avoid accidental record deletion.

  14. A local organization does not get mail from us, for reasons that are not known. These missing mailings include checks. We have documented this situation for more than a year. Their profile is now set to Do Not Mail, but an option to Hand Deliver would make it much clearer that all letters need to go by hand.

  15. For grantees who have recurring issues with mail, how about a Hand Deliver Only option that is right up front on the main grantee profile page? We have an organization that does not get checks in the mail from us on a regular basis. This option would make it clear what the delivery mode is without a need to read or refer to a note.

  16. When a portal request is voided before a grant request is officially made, there is no way to track it. It would be nice for the voided request to show in the fund's history and/or on the Fundholder's dashboard so that they an see that it was voided as well.

  17. Enable the 'CC' field in Grant Document emails to automatically populate using the email address labeled 'CC' in the profile. This is currently done manually but automating it would save staff time. Referring to Grant Documents> Process Documents> Choose Batch> Email Documents.

  18. When sending grant award letters via Email - please create a function to auto-populate the non-primary emails into the cc fields. This would save so much time and not require staff to remember and manually add ccs each time. Alert notes don't even show up in the Email Grant Documents area so there's not an easy way to be reminded of who needs to be cced. There should be an option to automatically include more than just the primary email. Please also add any cc emails sent to the log of the grant and profile. Currently only the primary email…

  19. This has NOT been implemented per previous post:

    We have multiple funds that either roll some or all of their spendable back to the principal balance of the SAME FUND each year to grow the fund or for a specified amount of time (until the donors' death for example). Currently, you can not select the SOURCE fund as the BENEFICIARY fund; it has to go to ANOTHER fund. It would be nice to be able to automate these grants annually instead of manually moving money from Spendable to Principal.

  20. For recurring grants, the language used for the number of grants is confusing. The wording that advisors see when they make a request is "Number of Recurring", and the wording that staff sees is "Max Recurrence." However, in practice, the number in this field will be used for the total number of grants (one initial grant PLUS any recurrences). Can the language be changed to "Total number of grants" and "Max Occurrence" - or something similar that makes it clear that the first grant should be included in the count?
