  1. It would be super cool if potential grantees and scholarship applicants had the ability to mark upcoming opportunities to get notifications when that specific opportunity opens. It would decrease the amount of promotion on the administers side.

    I am trying to register to your site. However, when I click New Users:Please click on "Create New Account" to complete the registration process and create your logon credentials, it says "The Login you have entered (your email address) is already in use. "

    Can we please change the message to say:
    You have already registered with that email address. Please log in to continue. If you no longer remember your password, click on the "Forgot your Password?" link.

  3. I would be great if an automatic email would be sent out if I create a new user-- this way the person would know right away instead of having to manually reach out to them. Maybe a checkbox if you would like to notify them you have created a new account.

  4. Currently, organizations are able to edit their own user information, and they are able to edit some fields of their organization information. I encounter that when there is turnover in an organization or a change in who is responsible for reporting to the Foundation that users share their log-in information and ultimately just change the information in a user profile from the previous user to themselves. While this is convenient from a user perspective, it makes our history look like that person has done all of the previous reports, submitted the application, etc, rather than alerting us to a new…

  5. When sending an email to multiple users (one email address in the To field, and one or more in the CC field), it would be helpful for the email to show up in the email history for all users emailed (included those that were CC'ed).

  6. It would be helpful to able send a batch email using the list of organizations that appear on the organizations search page by having a send email tab at the bottom of that page. Presently we can only Merge, Quick Export or Archive organizations that we select on the list.

    I am wondering if anybody else would like to see an option for emails to have a delivery or read receipt for the email sent through GLM.

  10. We want to send decision notifications to the primary contact for an organization, usually the organization top executive, but also want to notify the applicant, either by a copy of the email or by sending it to both. That is not currently possible with batch email because it defaults to the applicant, so in instances where the primary contact and applicant are different, batch emails cannot be used for these notifications.

  11. My suggestion would be to be able to send an automatic email to any grantee when a grant is closed from the admin side. This would function much like an auto-email goes out when a progress report is scheduled.

  13. It would be great to be able to upload an email directly from Outlook in the Documents tab. Currently, if there is not an attachment, but the communication in the email itself that we want saved, we have to copy and paste into a Word file and save on our computer as a document before it can be uploaded. If there is an attachment we want saved, that also has to be saved on our computer.

  14. Can't always know that you want something you write to be a template - but when I write a note that would be good to keep and use again, would be great to have a "save as new template" option. This exists in other software I used at a prior job and it's great.

  15. When third parties are assigned letters of recommendations for scholarship applications, sometimes they are not able to upload the letter themselves. Instead, a member of the scholarship administration team will upload the letter (which was emailed to us) on their behalf. Even when we upload the letter for them, it is still marked as incomplete from the applicants view of the application. It would be helpful if it was marked as complete if the letter was uploaded, whether or not it was uploaded by a third party.

  16. For our "special handling" funds that have a dedicated "reply to" email (vs. our generic grants@), we have to create a full set of template emails for each fund. If a "reply to" email could be attached to a process and serve as a merge field, we could use one set of templates for all of our funds.

  17. In SLM, please offer a two DIFFERENT email templates for these two situations: eligibility completed & application submitted. Currently, only one email to students is offered and needs to be used for BOTH situations. This is very confusing to students, causes frustration and likely prevents some students from finishing their application.

  18. It would be very helpful to have an 'Email Applicant' button next to the 'Created Documents' on the Request Summary Page. In our work flow, we are emailing the applicants throughout the application stage, in the approval / denial stage and also after payments are posted. Having the button in a more accessible spot would make this quicker and easier!

  20. It would be great if I could assign follow ups to myself as an Admin instead of only having the option of assigning follow ups to the contact person for the grant. Assigning a follow up to me would allow me to send an email reminder to myself when reports are due. Many of our grants are internal and grantees don't get notified when reports are due - instead I manage that part of the process.
