  1. Please allow for editing the date format in email templates. Our organization would never ordinarily send letters with a date of 05/02/2018, but instead with May 2, 2018. Would like the option to format dates more formally, as exists in Excel.

  2. The email to third parties from an applicant has the link button at the very bottom of the page and "here" is highlighted. I seem to have a lot of international people that completely miss that little statement under the signature block. (Even when I state the location in the email) Can it be located more visible on the email or worded differently?

  3. Please remove case-sensitivity when entering data into email and website fields in organization records. I spend a lot of time editing these fields because of error messages prompted by uppercase letters when actual functionality isn't impacted by case in either emails or websites.

  4. We would like to send a batch email to all users. We have over 1500 users and the system allows only 200 at a time. So, we have to manually check 200 boxes eight times to send the email. Is there an easier way?

  5. In our Scholarship process, we collect transcripts using the 3rd party feature _ awesome. We also collect additional information from the guidance counselor about award nights and things we need to know internally. might there be a way to allow us to choose if this should be shared with our evaluation team?
    Also, we still have a lot of students who do not get the 3rd party... when you 3rd party question goes to the teacher.. .could it auto-generate an email back to the applicant state "you sent xyz.com a 3rd party request ... this is how you will know…

  6. It is difficult to find the current version of the Applicant Tutorial on the Help page or "Base Camp" page for us to put into our emails to potential grantees. As this is something that all Foundations need to instruct all their grantees on basic help, it should really be the first thing people see, not hidden three or four steps deep into the BaseCamp page. Please put the most frequently used instructions at the top.

  8. After selecting evaluators and clicking Save, a message pops up saying "Evaluators have been saved." There is a button to Send Email or Close. If you have an automatic email sent when assigning evaluations, this pop-up is confusing and many times our admin has clicked on the Send Email button, sending a second email to the evaluators. It would help if the message was expanded to say "If you have set up automatic notifications to evaluators, the notification has been sent. Click Close to continue."

  9. I have students who apply for multiple scholarships and use the same recommender for each scholarship. The recommender does a recommendation for one scholarship but not the others. I would like to see the scholarship name added to the automatic email sent to the recommenders. Currently the email has the students name, but not the scholarship name. If possible I would like to see the name of the scholarship on that email as well so that the recommender understands that they are writing a recommendation for a different scholarship.

  10. I'd like to be able to do an email merge to a subset of applicants from the applicant pool based on their responses to LOI/application/followup questions. For example, we ask under which interest area an applicant is applying. I'd like to be able to select and email all those applicants who applied in the arts.

  11. Not that it is a big deal, but is it possible to make the entire email template bar a selection for the email you wish to send, rather than just the little envelope icon?

    When we go from a request to send an email to an applicant you can hover over the list of email templates and it slightly highlights each template, but you do have literally click on the envelope.
    This isn't a top priority of course, but just curious if it is feasible. It would make the task that little bit more straightforward.

  12. One of my evaluators pointed out that an applicant's attachment was incomplete. I had the applicant email me a corrected attachment, but now cannot attach it (by moving the application back to draft) to his application without deleting two completed evaluation forms associated with the application. I uploaded the corrected attachment as a Request Document and noted it in Request Comments. The incomplete attachment is still in the application though.

  13. We want to pull a report of all evaluation forms (a copy of each evaluation for each evaluator) and we want the email of the evaluator to be on that report (we can only get first and last name)... this way we can use excel to filter the email of the evaluators that haven't completed or started the evaluations... has anyone else figured out a way to do this with one data set?

  14. I am manually entering grants from 2011 that were submitted via email. Most of these applicants are new users. This has given me the opportunity to experience being an applicant and using GLM to apply for a grant. I think it be helpful to have a box that you could check when setting up a new user accoutn that populates the organization information using the contact info previously entered. In many of cases, the applicant and head of the organization are the same person and I am entering this info twice.

  17. I realize that "Urgent" can be subjective, but it would be great if we could let you know when a tech support issue was "urgent" (from our perspective, of course). Case in point: I've been unable to export all day and haven't had a response to the email I sent this morning (other than the automated response). At that point, I needed to run an export for a colleague who needed it for a meeting.   18. Please use your magic to allow foundations/grantors to customize the email sender address when sending email via Foundant.

    As I send email messages via Foundant, the sender of each appears to be " http://foundant-community.custhelp.com/posts/administrator@grantinterface.com" rel="nofollow">administrator@grantinterface.com." Again this week I have heard from grantees that they found messages from "Linda Tracy, Steele-Reese Foundation

  19. We have been using Foundant long enough that agencies are submitting new requests to the foundation. Several forget their log in information and create new accounts that we subsequently merge. But several more are on the ball.

    I was wondering if there could be a pop up message for returning nonprofits that asks if there have been any changes with the agency such as a new address, executive director, website, email, etc.?

    We recently had an experience with a change in address. Neither the agency or the foundation realized we had the old P.O. Box and mailed the grant check…

  20. So this probably only occurred to me because I just copied a follow up TEN times... not sure many folks will have encountered this. In any case, when you create a follow up, there are six automatic email selections to decide on (even if "not using" is your decision). I found it tedious to have to select the six emails ten times (sixty drop-down menus), so I was wondering if it would be possible when copying a follow up, to have the automatic email selections default to the original follow up's selections?
