Add Deletions to the Logged Activity
Include when a donation is deleted in the log file.
Deleted transactions are available in a Log Custom Report. This can be accomplished by creating a custom report and filtering to a log message that contains "deleted". Attached is a screenshot from a report that could be created to accomplish this request.

I agree with David Weisz, it would be good for this function to be available for all core system activites.

Another example is when a file is deleted on a fund record, there is no record of the delete on the fund's log.
The system log does show that the user deleted a file and provides a file ID #. However, the system log does not reference the fund record where the file was originally attached. It only lists the file id # that was deleted. We are not sure how that is helpful. If the deletion is only recorded in the system log, our preference would be to include the parent record (e.g., funit_id) where the file was deleted.

Agree with David's comment... For example, on a fund, when a file is deleted, there is an entry in the system log but it is not recorded in the log associated with the fund.
Also, on the system log, there is no reference to the fund record where the file was originally attached. It only lists the file id # that was deleted. We are not sure how that is helpful. It would be great if we could see deleted content in our logs. Currently, if someone deletes say a donation, you cannot see it in the log. You have to reach out to support for them to view on their end. For finance its really important that I can see if data is being deleted and who is deleting it.

Can the deletions be tracked for all core system activities (profiles, funds, accounts, grants, donations, etc.? For example, it would be helpful to know when and who deleted a profile. Unless I am mistaken, you can not see the log for when a profile was deleted.
