  1. It would be helpful to see a list of upcoming grant payment deadlines on the dashboard. Perhaps each process or grant could be set up to have a 15 or 30 day notification window. Needing to run a report seems like too many steps for something so central to our operations. Thanks for considering it.

  2. As an Administrator, it would be nice to be able to preview this feature. Currently when side by side is selected, but I choose to Preview the form as a Reviewer, it looks like it always has and does not truly show how they view the form. This would help to make sure that I have the feature selected when wanted. And would be really handy as I send screenshots to evaluators to train them on what they will see. Thanks!

  3. Occasionally we have a new administrator that we add to our system. The issue is when added they automatically receive emails for our processes including those that are archived. We create a new process for each cycle, so what this means is we spend a good deal of time deselecting their name on old processes so they don't receive automatically generated emails about grant reports. It would be nice if a new administrator's name would only appear on current processes or if it would be an "opt in" option versus "opt out."

  4. There is no way to get one clear shot of engagement/touchpoints with organizations. Should there be unexpected turnover within an organization, their Foundant profile should have a feature to track the following:

    1) Site Visits (with notes and person in attendance)
    2) Phone Calls (with notes and person in attendance)
    3) Events (with notes and person in attendance)
    4) E-mails (with notes)

    Right now, we have to track this information on spreadsheets, which leaves a lot a room for human error. Without a feature like this, Foundant is very limited in its ability to manage the Grant Cycle process!

  5. I would like to be able to make copies of forms. It seems odd that you can't "save" an original version of a form and then make a v2 with new edits and tweaks but rather have to create from scratch each time.

    If this is with all forms, then I would request copy function for all.

  6. New applicants are seeking the apply option when they log in the first time. While the new format for the dashboard makes other navigation clearer, the Apply gets lost in the navigation bar at the top of the page. Suggest making the Apply option larger and bolded so it's more visible.

We've recently implemented G4G fields in our applications, but the majority of the most useful, most easily copied, and most redundant questions applicants are asked to input in every single funder's application are at the organizational level. Would LOVE to see G4G fields available for organizational profiles, as well as for LOIs/Application questions.

  8. It would be very helpful to be able to see the grant amount and grant start & end dates, preferable in both the organization Application and Grant History line, and (at a minimum) in the top box of the Request Summary. Too many clicks & scrolls to get that basic info. Thanks!

  9. It would be very helpful if the name we give a Follow-Up appears on the printed version versus "Follow-Up". The purpose in naming the Follow-Up is to give it an identity and separate it from the other Follow-Ups. But when the document is printed the name is lost.

  11. It would be great if the status updates could be customized so we could control which update they see and which they don't. I don't want my students seeing that they are denied but I need the selected recipients to be able to see their follow up updates. I am not able to turn them off and on again because of the time frame. The denied would need to be off until June but the follow ups need to be on in May and June. Thanks!

  12. If our students do not complete their updates they are terminated. It's very cumbersome and time consuming to have to go into each follow up in draft and click abandon.

  13. When building list questions on forms, such as checkbox questions on applications and follow-up forms, there is a 100 character limit. It would be beneficial to my organization if the limit could be increased. Does anyone else find this to be so? Thanks

  14. Currently have “submitted” and “completed” tabs. As scholarships are received, I review them and like to push them through to completed but with third party cannot do this. Would like another tab where reviewed scholarships could be saved and the third party link would still function. Some of the third party responses could take up to two months for completion. I review over 700 scholarship applications in a 3-month period and this would tidy up my workspace. Currently have to keep a spreadsheet of student's names so I know who has been reviewed.

  15. Love the idea of the Evaluation Side by Side view! Although I would like to see two important things brought into this view.

    The Send Email button that would appear at the bottom of the LOI or Application used to say "Email [Applicant's Name]" - it doesn't appear anymore. It is not at the bottom of the "Your Evaluation" in side by side, where you can Deny Request, or Save the evaluation, and for some weird reason you can now Send Email to Yourself* -but not to the applicant.
    I am not sure why you might want to send yourself…

  16. I love that the Application packet brings everything in, including attachments! But it brings everything in...

    We create packets for external reviewers, and I'd like to be able to customize the fields included in the Application Packet. To cut down on paper for the ones that print--and to make it easier for reviewers to see only the necessary sections--we only want to include certain fields in the reviewers' packet (i.e., they don't need address, etc., and we don't want them seeing the hidden questions or things we've turned off for that round).

  18. I would be helpful to see "Complete" Status on the Application Evaluation dashboard. How does an Administrator know that an evaluator has completed their review except to have to click in the Application Evaluation "Assigned" - which defeats the purpose of a dashboard? Thank you

  19. For grant agreement forms, we often need an institution official to agree to the IP language or grant acceptance form. We usually have the applicant enter in a 3rd party email to complete this, but then have to rely on the applicant to also send them the document they are agreeing to. It would be helpful to have that 3rd party be able to view the request document like the applicant can.

  20. Hi -

    I have mentioned this to several folks at Foundant, but I realize I have never posted it here. I would very much like to see a multi-currency function within Foundant. We award grants in the United States and Canada, in USD and CAD. When a grant is awarded in CAD, I would like to be able to see the award amount both CAD and award-date USD as well as enter both currency amounts (USD & CAD) at the time of payment so that I can see both currencies when I look back historically.
