archive report questions
I love the multi-select “checkbox” question. We are
finding this to be a great enhancement especially for some of our internal report fields. We
chose to replace several of the standard “drop down” report questions with “checkbox”
questions. Now that we have outdated standard “drop down” report questions,
I would like to have the option to archive them. Do you foresee this being an
option in the future?

With the new "shared question" functionality in 5.0, this shouldn't be an issue any longer. I'm sure there's a bit of a learning curve to the "shared questions", but hopefully you're finding the new functionality more intuitive and more useful.Thanks,

We're currently working on re-architecting report fields. As part of the planned changes, there won't be report field templates as they exist today, so this should be resolved by the next release.

Glad to hear you're liking the multi-select functionality.
In regard to archiving your drop-down report questions ... given some of the internal conversations we are having about report fields, and given feedback from folks at Summit, I'm not inclined to add any more functionality around them for now. If we can re-architect the report fields in the next 6 months or so, I'm hoping that your request - as well as a number of other Idea Lab items - will be addressed by the changes we want to make.
Thanks for taking the time to post the suggestion. When we start working on the report field changes and get a better idea of what the new functionality will look like, I'll be updating related Idea Lab items.
