Email Statuses.
I was not able to find definitions for email statuses in the Support Hub. Client Services were helpful in showing me to go to Communications>Email History and hover over the question mark beside each status
Would it be possible to have the question mark/definition functional wherever an email status icon is found?
And perhaps post the definitions in the Support Hub?
It might also help to tell a bit more (see quotes):
Sent: The email was sent from the system to the email provider. "The green check mark will indicate it has been received by the email provider…

Change the color of the Assign Next Form button to distinguish it from Assign Evaluators
In my workflow, as an administrator, after reviewing an LOI, I most often assign the LOI for evaluation. Now that the "Assign Next Form" button is at the bottom of the form right next to the assign evaluations button, I have accidentally clicked it on multiple occasions. I have thankfully caught it right away and been able to reverse everything without creating an issue with the applicant. It would be helpful to have a visual distinction between those two buttons. Maybe green for assign next form - like a green light to proceed? It is helpful to have both options…

Make idea lab text box larger
The describe your idea box is quite small and can only accommodate a few sentences. This text box makes it difficult when trying to think through larger more complex ideas to have to scroll up and down. It often results in mistakes and unclear thoughts.

Group Process Application History
It would be beneficial to have a place to go and see a history of applications for every process, live and archived with applications that were awarded or denied. It occurs to me to accomplish this it might also be helpful to be able to group processes to gather this history to be able to see all history for say example Family Fund Grant 2022 and Family Fund Grant 2023. Perhaps this could be accomplished through a report of some kind while an integration into the system would be easier and more accessible. We would use this when meeting with…

Tables on the profile registration page

Request ID be searchable and visible on request summary page (and directly clickable from reports)
Currently Request ID is only visible in reports. However, this means that while all requests have a unique identifier, there is no way to quickly navigate to that request based on the navigator, or even see what that identifier is while in the request. Would be great to have the functionality to search by request id as well as having it added to the columns visible on the request history page. Even nicer would be the ability to navigate directly from the request id listed on the report to the request record in Foundant.

Improve application preview printed packet
It would be wonderful to have a more streamlined version of the application preview to print out and share with people. The current "question list" is pages and pages long because it includes all of the answer options (i.e. lists of high schools scholarship applicants can select that they currently attend or colleges they hope to attend). I would like to see a streamlined version that allows those lists to be hidden if that is preferred so that the focus is more on the actual questions in the application.

search organization by sort name
We have several organizations whose legal name is different than the name they are known as (i.e doing business as). It would be nice to search by sort name and organization name simultaneously in case a person does not know the legal name or has forgotten it.

Staying logged into SLM & GLM
Please make it so you can be logged into SLM and GLM at the same time. Many of us work with both scholarships and grants and not being able to stay logged into both is very inconvenient.

Auto-email when closing grants
My suggestion would be to be able to send an automatic email to any grantee when a grant is closed from the admin side. This would function much like an auto-email goes out when a progress report is scheduled.

Close Submission Rather Than Deny or Abandon
Our foundation uses a process as a "general inquiry", for folks to complete and we then have a staff member determine if they are a good fit for certain grant rounds. It would be amazing if there was an option aside from "abandon" or "deny" in which we could close a complete application, after it has been copied to a new process for further development.
This eliminates any confusion for our applications when they look at the dashboard. As of right now, we're denying them as they are being copied, but they can see the denial in the dashboard.

reporting on reviewers and users
It would be nice to have more reporting functionality re: users and their contact information (to be able to pull committee lists of some sort) and what process they are assigned to. This would give better visibility for staff that are Grant Manager users (don't have administrator rights) to have better visibility of who is on their process as a reviewer.

Make Rich Text Editor available to all users
When reviewing applications within GLM and asking questions, it would be helpful to be able to highlight text. Currently Rich Text Editor is available only to Admins. We'd like to see this available to ALL users.

follow up
On the dashboard, it would be helpful to be able to see a separate line for overdue follow-up reports versus those that are not yet due. Right now, I believe the only way to do that is to download all and sort by due date.

Dollar amounts in Foundant generated reports should be numerical values, not text
See above. Dollar values (e.g. $50,000) generate into reports as text, not numerical values. This means you need to convert it to a number in excel to do numerical analysis on it (like summing or subtracting).

Assign Specific Evaluators to Specific Shared Documents
It would be helpful if there was a way to only select specific evaluators to have visibility of a Shared Document in GLM. For example, we have several different grant review committees and wouldn't want them to have access to other committee information (such as supplemental grants meeting materials).

Edit Fields in "Make Payment"
The grants staff in our foundation coordinate with our accounting team in order to get grant payments out. We need to be able to note payment as Ready, In Progress, or Complete to help both teams project manage. (for example, an in-process payment could be a check that is written but not yet approved by the CFO or sent). There would be immeasurable value to allowing the fields in the "Make Payment" form to be editable/customizable like every other form in the GLM.... Does anyone know if editing the "Make Payment" form in the GLM is something in-the-works? Thanks!

Character Count for Evaluators Viewing Application
Administrators and applicants are able to view the "character count" for applicants' text area questions. It shows below in green.
We would like the option for evaluators, in their side-by-side evaluation form, to see the character count underneath the question, as it is displayed for administrators and applicants.
We don't necessarily want to encourage our evaluators to only consider character count, as we say the quality of answers matter more than the number of words/length of response, but it may help evaluators when they are in between two scores.

Character count report
As grantmakers we are encouraged to provide generous character limits for applicants while trying to encourage clear and concise writing. I think it would be helpful in establishing character limits if Foundant could allow us to generate a report showing actual character counts for each question in a form vs. the character limit. Then we could easily know if applicants are bumping up on these limits. Together with our qualitative assessment as to the quality of answers, this quantitative data could guide more informed setting of character limits.

add a "Recommender Name" field for an applicant to enter
It would be great to be able to personalize the email templates that go out to third parties. Obviously I can hand edit when I write one-offs, but the ones that get spot out from the application - kinda tacky to not have a salutation for them.
