  1. We have experienced a good number of applicants having difficulty locating administrator comments when sending applications back for revisions. The vertical blue line at the left side is easy to scroll by. Applicants then call or email with questions regarding areas to be corrected, stating they cannot locate what needs modified.

  2. It would be helpful if funder administrators could also manage collaborators on requests. E.g. I would like to be able to change a user to a collaborator. Right now, folks have created their own user and then when invited to be a collaborator, the system gets confused when it is the same email address. Thanks!

  4. It would wonderful to be able to delete emails in batches from "email history" instead of one by one.

    Deleting them individually in cases where numerous emails need to be deleted to save space is really onerous.

  5. We have a couple of applications where the student needs to have their counselor upload their transcript for them, as well as have 2 different references upload letters of recommendation. But since only one template can be attached to the process, our email tried to explain that the student was requesting a transcript OR letter of reference and to refer to the student's email to clarify which they needed. We then provided text for the students to paste into the email. But it seems at least 50% of the time, the student didn't fully follow the instructions and confused 3rd…

  6. It would be helpful to have a revised date column on the email templates list so it's easy to see which have been recently used/updated, particularly when making a common change to all currently used templates.

  7. Recently, the software company we used to create digital board books went out of business. This software wasn't anything fancy, but did allow us to share Foundant proposals and other relevant documents with our board (agendas, financial statements, etc.). Since they have closed up shop, we have had the board use Foundant to review grants, pushing them all to use the platform exclusively to review, which has been great. However, this has meant that we also have to email them any additional materials separately. This has created confusion and resulted in more paper waste than previous solutions.

  8. When going into "contact email history" and attempting to resend an email to a third party, the auto-filled recipient is the applicant and not the 3rd party. It would be extremely convenient to be able to quickly resend automated emails to 3rd parties from "contact email history" instead of having to go back into the application to do so.

  9. I have several scholarships that I am awaiting letters of recommendation for. Everyday I have to click the scholarship and scroll down to see if the letters of recommendation have come in for the applicant. It would be nice to have an alert letting me know when a letter has been submitted for a student. Not sure if it's possible, but just a thought. Thanks

  10. I would propose to add a status, which comes before Application Draft in the timeline, called "Encouraging Application." This would not be anything the applicant submitted - it would be like the Decision Form, entered by the grants manager, but it would have to be optional. This would allow me to get organizations in the queue that I have been talking to about applying, and make notes about our conversations and my efforts/encouragements to date, and then to stop worrying about them once they moved into the Application Draft status.   11. I can't recall if this was available before version 6.0. It seems I am now doing extra clicks to get back to the Organization Summary in order to get the live link on a user's email and login as them. It would be great to have this on the Applicant contact info on the Request Summary page.

  12. On the email template page, it would be helpful to identify which type of template it is by the event type selected. Typically when I'm copying a template to create a new one or when I'm looking to edit an existing template, I'm looking for the 'event type' of template. I've tried different naming conventions to help with this, but it would be helpful if there was another column at the top in addition to the template name and subject line to identify what event type it is.

We noticed that when an applicant adds a third-party e-mail address and then composes e-mail, the third-party receives an e-mail from "administrator" (of the site) (or in our case, my name) versus the name of the applicant. I would suggest the applicant be able to add their e-mail address as the "from" as well as the third-party e-mail address as the "to."

  14. Email Statuses.

    I was not able to find definitions for email statuses in the Support Hub. Client Services were helpful in showing me to go to Communications>Email History and hover over the question mark beside each status

    Would it be possible to have the question mark/definition functional wherever an email status icon is found?

    And perhaps post the definitions in the Support Hub?

    It might also help to tell a bit more (see quotes):

    Sent: The email was sent from the system to the email provider. "The green check mark will indicate it has been received by the email provider…

  15. It would be great if there was a way for use to use our own email domain and address for emails sent from GLM and SLM (rather than @grantinterface.com as it is today) for emails sent from the system, both automated and user generated.

    We believe this would improve the professionalism of the email to have all communications come from our own domain, and allow us to standardize our communications with email recipients, and take advantage of their already having our domain identified as a safe sender.

  17. It is possible to set up an email template to send when someone starts a new application?

    Basically, we want to be able to send a welcome email to someone who starts a new application, encouraging them to contact a friendly grants staffer for coaching if needed, and to have our grants outreach specialist notified when a new application is started.

  18. Because our staff are so busy (like everyone!), it would be great if there was a way for staff to "accept" a task when it's assigned (we primarily use GrantHub). For example, a button/check box in the task and/or notification email that says "task accepted." Such a system would allow project managers to ensure our colleagues saw the task/email. And, if/when a task is not accepted, we would have better opportunity follow up to ensure they know their assignments.

  19. It would be extremely helpful to batch uploaded documents to the student's shared document tab for each scholarship process. Once we upload a document- an automatically triggered email is sent to the student to review the form. For example- we need to send a form for the students in the process to complete. Once we give access to students to view the form- an automatic email or Text Message is sent to the student to review and complete the form.

  20. When viewing any bucket, for example, the Draft Follow Ups, the fields presented on the page are Form, Organization, Assignee, Project Name, Due Date, Staff Person, and Amount Awarded. When I select records and choose Quick Export at the bottom to export to Excel, the fields I get returned are Process Name, Project Name, Organization Name, Applicant First Name, Applicant Last Name, Applicant Email, and Submission Modified On. This is not helpful. It would be MOST helpful if the Quick Export function exported the fields displayed on the screen. If it worked that way, it could save so much time.…
