Change time out message to not say information has been saved
Hi - I had an applicant call because he was kicked out - although he doesn't think he was away long enough for it to have actually timed out - and lost all of his information. Before getting kicked out, he had tried to save the information, but received error messages, so no saving actually occurred. However, when he was kicked out, he got the standard, "Don't worry, your information has been saved" message. I'm told there is no way to currently change this, but can it be looked into? It's very misleading and you can imagine his surprise and disappointment when he logged back in and there was absolutely nothing saved, not even the project name.
I thought those errors had been changed so that the information not related to the error was saved. Am I misremembering?
Thanks,
Mary

Hi Mary,
With the 4.1.0 release and the "auto-save" functionality for applicants, this should no longer be an issue.
Let me know if you have any questions,

Hi Mary,
Thanks for the posting. I agree we should look at changing the message to say something along the lines of "If you were filling out a form and the data in it was valid, it should have been automatically saved prior to timing out, in which case you can finish it after you log back in. If your form had invalid data in it, it may not have been saved."
Basically, if a user is getting errors when they try to save, until those errors are addressed, the form will not save. Obviously, he could have avoided this by correcting the data, but just as obviously, our message in this case should be more accurate.
We'll see if we can address this in one of the next few releases.
Thanks,
-chris
