Toggle to Review Mode
Background: Applications can only be reviewed (changing report fields, marking the application complete or sending it back to draft, etc) if you click the Review icon (pencil and paper). If you instead click the project name, then the View icon (paper only) beside the application, you will see the application but will not have these functions available.
Could there be a link or button added to the latter application to bring you back to the Review mode - like "Toggle to Review Mode" or "Review This Application"?

Looks great! Thanks so much. Definitely seeing progress (plenty of feedback and updates) - it's why I love this database and Foundant!

Hi Mary,
This should be addressed. While you will still see the "View" icon on the request summary page (where you go after clicking the project name), regardless of how you get to the Application, if it's in a "reviewable" state, you will be able to review it.
I appreciate your input and your clear description of the background for your idea, as well as the options you generally provide. I know we can't get to everything you suggest, but hopefully you're seeing progress.
Thanks again for your active participation.

Hi Mary,
We didn't implement this as "Toggle" .. however, in the latest release, if you can review a form, no matter how you get there, the review function should work.
Thanks again for the suggestion,

Put it in the timeline where it makes sense (if at all). I won't be confused by this issue anymore (I know that I have to work around it) and if other staff ask, I can show them where they went wrong. It just seems like a missing step in the review process, where an administrator can get lost or frustrated.

Hi Mary,
Thanks for the suggestion. I appreciate your thoughtfulness and the fact you present some options for us. This is something we can probably investigate more. To be honest, though, I'm a bit hesitant at this point to add more buttons to most of our pages. As we've implemented more and more functionality over the last 18 months, we've added links and buttons to a lot of pages. While we've tried to be disciplined about how we've done this, the fact of the matter is we've cluttered the user interface (UI) in a number of places.
Later in 2014, we really want to step back and improve the UI. This is a very non-trivial effort, but as part of it, I'd like to figure out how to address requests like the type you're making here. I'm certainly cognizant that delaying this feature for 9-12 months might be a bit less than optimal for you, but I'd really prefer to group these types of changes if at all possible.
Does that make sense? It's hard to gauge the priority of some requests, so if you could give me some idea of how important this is relative to other ideas, that would help.
