Document Uploading
I would like to see that when a document is uploaded, that document is seen no matter where I am in that file.
When I upload a document, there are places within the file that show "Documents Uploaded: 0" when I have already uploaded it. I'm actually now uploading documents twice so that our elderly board members don't get lost searching for it.
(I even get confused looking for that uploaded file sometimes.)

Hi Lisa,
In our next release - 3.7.0 - we've adjusted the headers on the "Documents" section to make things more explicit. This should be in production in a few weeks and will hopefully clairfy things for you as well as your board.
Thanks for calling our attention to something that can be confusing,

I think I understand a bit better. There are 2 different supporting document areas:
1. For a specific request (on the Request Summary page)
2. For an organization (on the Organization Summary page)
If you upload a document in one of these areas, it will NOT show up in the other area. The idea is that some documents are specific to an organization - perhaps an updated financial statement - and other documents are specific to a request.
Does that help explain why a document doesn't show up in both places unless you specifically upload it to each one?

I'll try to explain better...
So, for example, let's say I'm in a file and I go to uplaod a document.
If I click back and forth between the organization name and the project name, that file may or may not show in both places. We have some elderly board members who don;t understand that it's really all part of the same file, so I find myself uploading twice so they can see the upload in both places.
Does this better explain?

Hi Lisa,
First, thanks for the suggestion. I'm assuming that by "no matter where I am in that file" you mean wherever you are on the applicant's request, correct? If I'm wrong - which is entirely possible - please provide a few more details.
Second, when you say that it is still saying "Documents Uploaded: 0" even after you uploaded a document, could you please provide:
- a couple examples of where this is happening (URL in particular and a screenshot would help too)
- the steps you are taking when this happens (I'm guessing you aren't doing anything out of the ordinary, but having your exact steps would help us figure out what's going on).
I'd consider the second part of this to be more of a bug and would like to get it resolved for you and anyone else it's affecting.
Thanks,
-chris
