(Updated in 2.6.0) Allow Applicants to Delete an Attached Document
Currently, if applicants make a mistake when they attach a document to an application, LOI, etc. they can replace the document with another attachment. This works when they attach the wrong document. However if they attach a document in the wrong place, they can't delete or remove the attachment. The best they can do is attach a blank document in its place. It would be nice if applicants could remove something they attached without attaching a new document.

Tooltip would be really easy. We may do that as a short-term stopgap. Thank you

At a minimum, the default "tool tip" for uploads could tell folks how to copy over whatever they uploaded.

I'll chime in with support for this -- great idea. Would save us a lot of phone calls from frustrated applicants. Thanks!

Yes, this would be great. I agree, this is confusing to applicants.

I'll add that to our backlog. Seems pretty straightforward. Today one can overwrite an existing file, but they cannot delete. Thank you!
