Process Description Field
Could you add "process description" in addtion to the process name.
We are labeling revisions to our processes as v1, v2 etc. We would like to add comments to remind us/future users what & why the processes were changed. We prefer to keep the names of the procsses short so they don't wrap around on print-outs or monitors, but we would like to make notes on what the versions are.

Thanks for the additional feedback, Mara.
We'll keep this in mind as we move forward. It would still be nice to get some more feedback from other users around how they think this falls in terms of priority, so please comment away :-)
If we decide to work on this, I will post that here so you're aware it's coming. Thanks again,

Hi Chris,
Yes, the description on the Process Manager page. A short paragraph at most. We don't anticipate staff changes but had one recently which required changes to our processes. It would be nice to be able to document why the processes were changed.

Hi Mara,
Thanks for the feedback. So would you like to see the Process Description on the Process Manager page (Foundation/Administration/GrantProcessManager.aspx) next to the Process Name? How long do you see process descriptions being - a few short sentences? paragraph? other?
I'd appreciate hearing if anyone else has an opinion on this so we can get a feeling for how to prioritize it. Given other features we have planned as well as other suggestions in the Idea Lab, I don't see us getting to this in the near-term, but that depends a bit on what input we get.
Thanks,
-chris

We would like a comment field where we can describe what changes were made to a process, or why a process was created. It is to document changes to the system, so if staff changes they will understand what the differences are between our current processes, and those we are no longer using.

Hi Mara,
Thanks for the suggestion. Could you provide some more details - maybe a screenshot - to help me understand exactly what you're asking for?
