  1. It would be nice to be able to run a report for average daily balances for a group of funds without having to process a revenue share. The system can already calculate this so it seems like it would be an easy update to be able to report this without having to run a different process to get the information that you need.

  2. Make the authentication box on the login screen automatically populate the cursor and ability to type. Once you try to log in, it prompts for authentication. Then, you have to click on the text box, but most of the time, I forget to click the box because on most websites, it automatically is ready to have someone type in it. So I am left typing the authentication on my phone into nothing.

  3. Show inactive stewards in italics at bottom of the steward list just as inactive org roles show in the org roles section of the relationships tab in organization profiles. Also add active/inactive as report and filter options on steward custom reports and other reports that can include steward information.

  4. It would be helpful to have the ability to share custom reports in C-suite but only to selected staff and not to all of the organization. We have reports that are needed cross-departmental and if the person that created the report isn't available to run the report we either have to wait for them to return or try to reproduce the report. The data within the report isn't something we'd want to be made available for all staff to go in and run the report.

  5. The copy buttons don't require any confirmation that you actually want to copy prior to the copy being completed currently. This is an issue because it is often next to "edit" or "merge" buttons, so it is fairly easy to mistakenly click from time to time. Additionally, it can be fairly easy to miss that you did copy the record since the only indication is a refresh of your screen in most cases, so this can result in duplicate records and confusion. A simple screen asking if you want to copy this record would avoid this without causing too much…

  7. When a fund advisor password is reset, the Log shows the fund advisors name in 'User' field and not the staff person's name who reset the password. 'User' should always reflect the staff member.

  8. Bank and Investment Balance (excludes pledges receivable)
    Less Grants Payable (dollars already committed & likely held in checking)
    Less Spendable Fund Balance (remaining dollars to be spent)

    I tried to set this up using the "By Account" setting with the Endowment and Default Fund Balance accounts. Belatedly I discovered that the "Default" retained earnings were only included in the 4th quarter of each FY. This is explained in the online documentation Distributions/Set Up Types in the light blue section. Was it there when I set up Distribution Types 2 years ago? Maybe.

    We could use the "Total Net Assets" setting…

  10. We would like to see the Affiliate/Supporting organization or division field from the fund details appear in the grants.

    We need to be able to recognize the funds from our affiliates in order to process the grants using the correct payment type and award letter.

We're planning to launch our nonprofit directory page soon, and in addition to a previous idea I added about being able to sort/filter the list by service area, I have a few other ideas for enhancing this area of CSuite. The nonprofit directory already seems to pull some information directly from the profile itself but this can be overridden by editing the nonprofit area which can be different from the profile information. I'd like to see an option to pull over information from the profile so updates on the profile are reflected in the directory. Or have the option to…

  13. Needing a multifund receipt option for imports. We are planning to utilize the file import for donations when we have large campaigns to save data entry time. When we go to pull the receipts however it's doing 1 page per donation instead of 1 page per donor.

    I understand that we can manually enter the multi fund donation and get the same outcome but that is much more time consuming.

  14. As the new Fund Advisor portal is built out, we need the option to NOT show spendable balance on some funds. This could be as easy as a checkbox on the fund settings - Show Spendable or Not Show Spendable. Discussed this with Chris Sutton at Summit and he stated it would be doable. :)

    This a large pain point for us on our Donor Advised Growth funds which do not have to follow spendable but yet we still calculate it. Therefore, they end up with a large negative spendable balance showing on the portal which causes confusion.

  16. Have the ability on the fund level to set the spending policy start distribution date. Just as you can set an Admin fee start date have the ability to start a distribution date so that a fund can have enough investment income to distribute based on a spend policy.

  19. We would love the ability to export the balance swap screen to Excel. We have historically printed the potential swaps, evaluated, and then come back in to accept/deny the swaps but would love if we can export to Excel.

  20. Currently to change your Chart Info selection from one field to another, you must unselect the current field and then select your new field. Otherwise it will show Null for your labels or nothing in the chart values. Ideally you would be able to select your new field and it would automatically unselect the other field from that Chart Info type (Description/X-Axis or Data Value) since only one can be selected for the current chart types.
