Void checks prohibited from closed period
Checks should be able to be voided in any period regardless of whether the check was cut in a period that is now closed. Organizations that close books monthly have checks that are still outstanding over 30 days. These voids should post in the month the need for the void was discovered which could be up to 60 or 90 days after cutting. Currently, this is prohibited unless you re-open the previously closed period, which you shouldn't have to do.
