  1. Currently a user is able to delete a historical donation, there is NO pop up or confirmation to delete BEFORE the record is blown away! YIKES! Please add a confirmation similar to deleting a historical grant, thank you!

  4. We closed a fund and wanted to add a note, but closed funds apparently can't appear in the "Fund (Optional)" field on the Add Note screen.

  5. Instead of having two separate "entries" for a donation when a donor is covering the CC fees, it would be great for those two numbers to be combined and show as one donation. When this process generates two donations, i.e., $500 donation and $23.50 in credit card fees, when you run a report for the Fund Advisor to update them on the number of donations that the Fund received, the number is not accurate because it is counting some of donations as two.

  6. Have the ability on the fund level to set the spending policy start distribution date. Just as you can set an Admin fee start date have the ability to start a distribution date so that a fund can have enough investment income to distribute based on a spend policy.

  7. I would like the ability to add an alert at the General Ledger account level like I can add in profiles when making a payment to alert grants and vouchers? I sometimes have to notify other staff members when using certain GL numbers for payables and grants for other processes that may be needed and I don't have a way to create the alert at the GL level which would be extremely helpful.

  8. When I create print letters to notify folks that a tribute gift was made, I typically make edits to the letters before printing and sending. However, if someone has selected to notify the tribute via email, I am unable to edit the letter.

    Could there be a setting to toggle off this option on our website so that the public can only choose to notify people via snail mail?

    Or could the system allow me to edit my letter before it is emailed?

  9. Adding an On/Off toggle to the "Post By Payment" dimension for scholarship creation would be helpful for our Foundation. We’ve requested that members of our scholarships team not use the “Post By Payment” feature when creating scholarships, but it still happens on occasion by mistake. This causes a variance between the General Ledger and the Grants by Fund Report which our Finance Team prefers to avoid when possible for a variety of reasons.

  10. The "Forgot Password" link on the login page only appears after a user has a failed login attempt - but it should be present on the login screen always.

    Many staff members know they've forgotten their password and thus don't even bother trying to log in. This leads to a significant number of calls to our internal helpdesk, and we always have to tell users "it's a dumb thing that Foundant does, but you'll need to have at least one failed login attempt and then you can reset your password."   11. Hello,

    We are attempting to run a private event and record RSVPs using the campaign/ticket system. Currently, the campaigns system doesn't seem to facilitate free tickets with guests well.

    For us, free tickets do not prompt individuals to enter registration information for multiple seats (for attending party or guests) until after finalizing the transaction and subsequently clicking through a "Donate again" style button. This is confusing, as a registrant is much more likely to click out/exit the page rather than click through that button. Even if they click through it, they have to notice an additional tab on the donate…

  12. Copied task from an idea that was flagged "implemented" ... it is not implemented!

    It would be really nice if tasks could be tied to profiles, funds, grants, etc. and if they could show up like notes do (or at least having that option for them to show up). We are used to the "contacts" tab in FIMS which both informed the team of communications between donors and staff as well as provided an option to follow up if necessary. Thanks

  13. Please provide a way for us to edit/delete an automatic pledge adjustment. There is no way to do that in the system, and if you accidentally miskey something that causes an automatic pledge adjustment, it's permanently recorded. This not only messes up the GL details, but it also creates an inaccurate pledge total amount that shows up in the system.

    Case in point, we accidentally added an extra number on a payment which then increased a pledge by $2.5 million. It was a simple mistake, pure accident. However, we're stuck now in perpetuity with the wrong figure showing on this…

  15. It would be extremely helpful to our workflow to have the Grant Administrator included as a column. If blank, this lets the team know the grant needs further work before it can be paid. Without this column there is no way to tell if an administrator has reviewed the grant.

When Checkrun is processed, C-Suite populates the next highest number check in the "What Is The First Check Number" prompt when a new check batch is created rather than the last check number used. When we converted data we had historical check number sequences higher than current check stock in use. Therefore, the wrong check number populates. Suggestion is that the system use a timestamp for the last check used rather than a sequential number currently used. There are valid reasons historical check numbers would fall out of sequence.Check, First Check, Checkrun, Check Batch, Confirm and Post Checks, Check Run

  17. It would add so much to our internal workflow if permissions allowed us to specify access to custom fields on each record type. For example, we track succession plans as a custom field on the fund record. Our fund liaisons want to be able to edit those selections if/when a fundholder changes them. However we cannot give them access to edit the custom field on the fund record without them having full access to edit a fund record (which we do not want).

  18. Admin Fees should not make a fund balance negative. The situation we recently had was that a fund was set for closure, the final grant had been made and the balance was $0. However, the fund had not yet officially been closed in Csuite (we wait for the final check to clear.) Quarterly Admin Fees were posted which included this fund. It then made the fund balance negative. It seems an alert should pop that there are not sufficient balance to cover the fee. .....and yes, ideally we should remove the admin fee type on a fund when it is…

  20. It would be nice for our parent funds to be able to see the total fund balance (total of all sub-funds) on the home screen of the fund advisor portal. Currently it is showing current balance and available balance as $ . on all our parent funds.
