    Yes, it would be nice if emails regarding decisions could be mailed out automatically. Unfortunately, none of the email templates allow merge functionality--at least to my knowledge! I'm currently using merge documents to capture the information I want in the approve or decline emails, but I then have to cut and paste into individual emails with no template. Not optimal, but it works for now.

    Kathleen, that sounds like a good idea. We don't have an issue with it because if a grantee does not submit a follow-up, they remain in limbo until it is submitted! They cannot apply for another grant until all follow-ups for their last grant are complete. It helps us to have them remain in draft for our information.

    We, too, have our Executive Director and/or Grants Manager review our one current follow-up, which is a final grant report. They can both view it and make comments, which has worked so far. However, I can think of times when an evaluation process would be helpful--both for our grant report follow-up and others that could be added in the future.
