    I like this idea but I would like to add to it. I would like the option of closed and completed. When the grants are completed, that means that their projects are done but that doesn't necessarily mean that the work is done. We also expect publications and presentation outcomes. Once they've exhausted all outcomes, then the grant is closed. Also, when the grant is completed, they should still have access to the follow-up forms so they can report their outcomes.

    Hi All,

    Thank you for this feedback. Curious to understand if there are other use case for DocuSign with GLM/SLM rather than Grant Agreements.

    I also assume that when we talk about this integration we would want to be able to generate the DocuSign document with in the system, and then let docusign control all of the emails/reminder, and the final piece would be that signed document is visible in this system.

    Let me know your thoughts.

    Not only could we use Docusign for grant agreements, but we could also use them for our copyright forms signatures. Right now, each applicant has to get the signatures of their team which would consist of 2-10 people. Then they have to send me the signed form. I then have to check that each person that was included on the application has signed the copyright form, then I upload it into the software program, market that the copyright form is complete. After this, I have to send the signed copyright forms to our Journal along with the abstracts. So, if we had DocuSign, and the forms could automatically go to the authors for signatures, it would defiantly make our lives easier.

    It would be nice to be able to reassign a follow-up with a new due date so the applicant can update their information. With this, the automatic email will go out when the follow-up is reassigned.

    HI All,

    Thank you for the feedback thus far.

    I think we are leaning towards the idea of denotating specific fields to be reportable. Do you have examples of the fields you would most like report on?

    As for calculations which ones do you need? we know sum for sure, are there others?

    Hi Everyone,

    I hope you are doing well! While this request has been out here for a whole we have read all of your comments are starting to dig into defining this functionality.

    As move of you know we have moved to an iterative approach to development. As we do this we want to make sure that the first piece of the functionality we deliver will be useful and will deliver value. This is where I could use your help.

    As look to develop this first round of tabling/grid questions or biggest questions are around reporting expectations. Once, data has been entered into the solution via grid how will you be using it? How does it need to come out of the solution.

    We will be actively engaging in this conversation over the next month(s). So please chime in and keep subscribed as I will continue to post the requirements…

    Hello:
    I emailed you the spreadsheets that I currently have my applicants complete and upload. It would be nice to create the same spreadsheet within the applications so that the applicant can input the necessary information. I would also like for the spreadsheet (table) to calculate and for me to input mandatory not to exceed calculations. What I mean by this is, for us, the applicant cannot charge more than 10% of their salary towards the grant. I would like to max this field to calculate 10% of the salary, thus, the applicant would not be able to charge more. This is just based on a few rows, thus; is why I would like to be able to have this option by fields. I also agree that it would be nice to be able to create reports based on the table field.

    As with the other comments, as this project progresses, I'm quite sure that I'll have more input.

    Hi Erin,

    Thanks for your use case and this example. Normally, we think of this as data purging, for example, a foundation may only need to keep records for 7years and then no longer store them in their database.

    We are looking for ways to handle this idea and it helps to have more examples.

    I will keep you all updated as we consider the options

    HI Paula,

    There is a bit of a work-a-round to meet you request, however it only works if you are creating new processes, if you relable the question from one for to the next will no copy. For example I have seen clients add 2020 Project Budget as the label so that the 2019 Project Budget does not copy over.

    Hi Julie,

    Thanks much for the suggestion. Internally, we have discussed something like this to help improve access to documents as we have realized it can be a pain point for users. I really appreciate the details you provide here in the suggestion – that definitely helps me understand more completely what you’re looking for.

    I’m not sure when we may be able to tackle this, and I can’t promise that our implementation will match exactly what you’re proposing, but I do think we need to start considering adding something like this.

    Thank you for your feedback.

    I was able to have a discussion with the development team around how we think this could work.

    We imagine it available on all list type questions. When building your list question you you would see a check mark that says allow optional, must like you see allow N/A on scoring questions.
    When check other would be added to your list items and then if selected the applicant would see a box titled other.

    The place we are still curious about is reporting? Would you want to see the information in cell for examples Other; whatever text they entered or would text need to be its own field code?
