Agree with this idea and the comments. another middle ground solution could be if the sequence of due dates could be broken if there are different forms assigned to different contacts.

We have been soliciting COVID-19 effects statements from orgs with grants in process and adding them to applications. Such a wealth of info in them, that I want a better way to export them for general use by other staff. Can see how this could help in other scenarios as well.

    HI All,

Thank you for the feedback thus far.

I think we are leaning towards the idea of denotating specific fields to be reportable. Do you have examples of the fields you would most like report on?

As for calculations which ones do you need? we know sum for sure, are there others?

    More to come!

The ability to identify multi-year grant payments should be resolved. Payment date was added as a column in the Grant Voucher Bucket for easier identification. It was also added as a filter, so a User can filter on Payment Date after mm/dd/yy and take a Batch action. In Q4 2021, the payment date will toggle to red if the date has passed.

I second this. we often have grant that sit ready to approve for several months due to our requirement that they wait to request capital grant funds until they are ready to use them. That 1 grant then requires me to individually approve large numbers of DAF grants.

This is close to a scenario we have an issue in GLM with Capital Grant Request for Funds and reporting. For our capital grants, we make the grantees wait to request the funds until they are ready to spend the money, and then they have 90 days to submit the report. So the request and report due dates are all different, making tracking this in GLM a near impossibility. I need to be able to assign follow-up due dates on a per-applicant basis rather than per process.

Thanks, Sammie. Ideally I'd like to see the toggle built into GLM at the Form-building level. In other words, make a follow-up visible to certain roles (Board Member/Evaluator) or not. In our case, evaluation tools wouldn't be needed, as report review and sign-off is a staff task.

For me, I'd like to just have a toggle to make certain follow-ups visible to Board Members. They'll need to see grant reports, but not things like agreements and request for funds forms.

    Hi Everyone,

Thank for your feedback around columns and formulas in application.

I would love a little more information:
    1) do you need all of the data in table type question to be available in reporting OR would you want things like the total to be flagged and only those cartain fields be reportable?

    2) what is the average size of these table 3×12 for examples?

Thanks for your thoughts as we considering implementing this into the solution.

    Sammie

I need this. We ask them to do math to calculate percentages, and I have to check every one of them. For example, we ask for Liability % of Net Assets and I have to have this instruction: "Divide 'Total Liabilities' field by the 'Net Assets End of Year' field. Enter as a percentage without percentage symbol. Please double check your math."

    Hi Everyone,

I hope you are doing well! While this request has been out here for a whole we have read all of your comments are starting to dig into defining this functionality.

As move of you know we have moved to an iterative approach to development. As we do this we want to make sure that the first piece of the functionality we deliver will be useful and will deliver value. This is where I could use your help.

As look to develop this first round of tabling/grid questions or biggest questions are around reporting expectations. Once, data has been entered into the solution via grid how will you be using it? How does it need to come out of the solution.

We will be actively engaging in this conversation over the next month(s). So please chime in and keep subscribed as I will continue to post the requirements…

I would use this in pretty much everything... great to have them list other funding sources for GLM and SLM just for starters. Also multiple project bids for capital requests.

    Missy,

Thanks for the detail on how you would like this to appear in GLM. It will definitely help us as we look at implementing this both for people who use the integration and not.

I will work to keep the string updated with additional comments and timeline.

    Best

I know that some grants have a fixed grant amount (so I've answered my own question really), but I've still never otherwise understood why "Amount Requested" wasn't a dedicated system field. If the grant amounts were fixed, then admins could just enter that.
