  1. During a grant cycle, we will have a dozen or so requests that are abandoned. It would be helpful to have a category on the dashboard to show the number from that process that were abandoned just the same as you can see approved or denied.

  2. Please provide a Submit button for Administrators when they are Copying Requests into an Internal Process. Do not make us have to select the option while copying that the Initial Submit Status has to be Submitted. I would like to create a Draft and go in and edit away in fields and then Submit the request when I feel it is ready, it is an Internal process anyway, and I am an Administrator.

    Sure it is fine to go and select the Submitted choice when copying, but maybe I just want to submit it later, not when I am creating…

  3. Back in the day, when you could Copy Request, we could just copy into Draft and still be able to submit as an Applicant without too much stress. At least, that is how I remember the system working. Especially working with Internal Processes. We may have even had a Submit button at the bottom. I don't recall exactly, but now, it's a bit more work.

    Now, I have to be sure to scroll to the bottom of my long list of processes to be able to find the Select Initial Status options and be sure to select the Submitted option-particularly…

  4. I had a partner organization reach out to ask if it was possible for their organization to receive email notification to multiple people from the system. From the sounds of it, in the GLM only the applicant of the request (or assignee of follow-ups) can receive the automatic emails generated from the system.

    If it would be possible to have an option to select multiple recipients for an email to be sent from the system that would be great!

  6. Allow us to pull a list of the "grant manager" assignments for all assigned requests by adding a data field under "Processes" and "Requests" in report data sets.

    I'd like to be able to pull a report of which staff member is assigned to each request. Currently, I have to proxy as each staff member to pull each list individually.

  8. It would be helpful to have more than 2 evaluation options for Universal Applications. Scholarship Opportunities vary vastly in what is important. Being able to have the Internal Evaluation and a choice of either the complex or simple evaluation form for the 2nd choice would be most helpful!

  10. Add an option to the 'Organization Viewable by Applicant' site setting in GLM to be able to set the visibility to users marked as the primary contact. It'd give us an option that is more restrictive that the 'all' option but more automated than the 'user-by-user' option.

  14. Can Foundant add numeric grant numbers that auto-counts grants in a process?

    For example, we support research projects and grantees need to acknowledge it in the research paper with something to the effect of "We acknowledge financial support from "Foundation Name" under grant # ("Foundation Acronym"-***) at the end of the paper. The grant number allows for tracking where we would enter in the grant number in something like Google Scholar and see how many papers have been published through it.

    Right now, there are no unique identifiers for Grants to track externally.

  15. When building a table, it would be helpful to to "grey out" a row or column that is "read only", so that you know it is read only.
    The feature I am proposing will help to identify the labeling on the back end. Right now there is no clear visual way to mark this. And I have gotten emails from applicants saying they cannot add information to the table (as it is read only), despite having combed through and making sure everything was how it should be.

  16. When I'm configuring automatic emails for a form, I always click the eye icon to preview the template. For some reason, it includes all the information that's been set up in the template except for the cc/bcc fields. It would save some navigation if those were included along with all the other template information already displayed - I currently have to navigate to the actual email template to review which addresses have/have not been included in the cc/bcc fields in the template, which sort of negates the usefulness of the preview function within the configuration view.

Our evaluations are done by student and if I need to edit evaluations assignments in the Evaluation Assigned bucket, it's very hard to ensure all of a student's opportunities are assigned to the same evaluator when I have to assign by opportunity instead of by student. This is still not possible with the new update if a student has already been assigned to evaluators. This is the message that is received: One or more selected request(s) has an evaluation already assigned. If they are in the assigned bucket then of course they will already have evaluators assigned to them so…

  18. We would like to replace our budget template with tables but we need to be able to show %'s for each expense section and revenue area. In particular, we need to be able to identify the applicant's 10% match in the revenue section. Adding %'s to the Table feature would be helpful so we could do away with applicant's having to download the budget template and then upload it again.

  19. It would be great if the software could allow evaluators to be assigned based on branching. For example, if we created an application that the first portion was basic information about an organization (i.e. organization history, board makeup, etc), but then we had a branching question for them to select which one of our grant programs they were applying for (and allow them to select multiple options that would then trigger specific questions for those grant programs). There could be the option to assign the different grant-specific branch of questions to different evaluators - basically have multiple evaluators assigned but…

  20. Allow Initial Submit Date on Evaluation Assigned page to be the date that organization submitted their LOI or Application so evaluators can see at a glance when LOI's or Applications were submitted.
