  1. When entering a note for another individual, it would be great if the "Who" was an option to change when entering the note. Currently I have to enter the note, then edit the note to change the "Who." Thanks!

Currently, the ability to generate an in-system Portal advisor invite email with a unique account setup link is only available from the profile's Fund Advisor record (the "Send Login Email" button retained from the legacy Fund Advisor Portal); profiles without the Fund Advisor designation do not have this option available.

  4. Consider adding the Fund Steward as a field for grant letter templates, just like the fund statements. We use a custom field to present this information on our grant letters but having the Fund Steward available is ideal. It's available in other templates so hopefully this is easily implemented.

  5. I created a test opportunity in the sandbox to explore the new features, including assigning a primary assignee, two additional assignees, and a professional advisor. While I appreciate the effort that went into developing these updates, I did notice something that could become problematic.

    Currently, when viewing the assignee, additional assignees, or professional advisor profle, it appears that each of them is also shown as having a duplicate opportunity identical to the donor’s. From a fundraiser's perspective, this could be quite confusing and potentially overwhelming.

  6. Allow Profile Fund link Categories to be edited vs having to delete the Profile Fund link and adding the fund back with the newly desired Category. Example, we are changing 'advisor' to 'primary advisor' or 'secondary advisor' and having to delete the Profile Fund link w/ 'advisor' category and then adding the fund back with the Profile Fund link of 'advisory-primary' or 'advisor-secondary'.

  7. When validating addresses in CSuite with the USPS validation, please spell out the entire city name as preferred by the post office (see screenshot below) instead of abbreviating city names that are 13 or more characters.

  9. Please make the update that moves quick tips to the quick reference guide an opt in / optional update. Maybe some will find this a better interface, but as it shows in this roll out video (http://player.vimeo.com/video/1086467921), it would be a big step back for us. Being able to just hover over the ? icon and see the quick tips makes the system super intuitive and easy to verify field purposes. But with this update we would have to click a link to another page and search for that field through that list to see the tip instead.

  11. Require Primary Advisor Approval - Multiple Advisors

    On a fund with multiple advisors, currently only one Primary may be indicated when requiring approval of a grant request. If someone other than the Primary submits a request, the Primary is notified to log in and approve the request. If the Primary submits a request, none of the other advisors are notified for approval. We need to be able to require equal approval from all advisors, so that when any advisor makes a grant request, the other advisors will be prompted to log in for approval.

  12. Show completed tasks in Profiles - resurfaced from 2021 archived idea submitted...

    It would be VERY helpful to see completed tasks associated with a profile.

    Regular communication with donors and fundholders do not always fall into an opportunity so having a record of communication in the profile is very important. We need to be able to look at a donor profile and see that they have or have not received calls or emails or other actions.

    I should also be able to see all activity for that profile in one place, whether it's a note, a task or a transaction.…

  13. For custom reports with multiple fields for criteria, we can currently select either "And" to exist between the filters or "Or". We'd like to be able to have a combination of "And" and "Or" between the filters within the same report.

If I mark someone's organization role as a member and put a date range indicating when their membership ends, it would be great if CSuite recognized when this date passes and automatically changed their role from "Member" to "Former Member." Currently the system will only italicize the word "Member" from the CSuite view to mean not a member anymore. However, f I were pulling a report and wanted to know the profiles' org roles, it would only tell me "Member" and not show the italics meaning former.

I have recently been surprised by some new implementations/announcements that are very disruptive to my work (specifically, the change in the fund search function and the announcement that there will now be a Donate button next to the grant request button in the advisor portal). Can there be a more democratic process for the ideas that get implemented? Currently it seems that the process is to get some/lots of votes in Idea Lab or to be an "important" person/organization and get your wishes granted.

    At the very least, can we have a downvote option in Idea Lab so we can…

  16. Give us more characters in the donation Description field, please! Currently, there is a limit of only 256 characters, which is very limiting. We use that field to list the details with stock gifts, as that field is visible on the portal for donors. 256 characters doesn't go far when donors are donating multiple stocks.

  19. The paid invoices bucket has the oldest invoice at the top rather than the most recent. Please resort this bucket so newest invoices are at the top when you open the paid invoices bucket.

  20. Currently, it doesn't appear that you can add a deceased individual as a donation advisor. This creates issues when someone gives us money through their estate. The donor will usually be "the estate of" or a trust associated with the original donor. But we cannot add the deceased individual. That means we won't be able to see a donor's total giving history even if they made clear their intentions during their lifetime.
