  1. We just launched a fundraising effort for one grantee via grant catalog. However, on the grant catalog page, we are worried that donors won't know to go to their cart after adding an amount and clicking ADD. We decided to link for marketing purposes to the individual grant request as the process of donating is simpler given it takes you to your cart automatically, but that page doesn't show total funded like it does on the main grant catalog page.   2. I'm not sure where this specific idea fits in terms of a category. We have certain types of tax classes in our system that are not eligible to receive grants from donor-advised funds. We would like a way to globally use this field to remove these grantees from view in the fund advisor portal.

  4. Enable the 'CC' field in Grant Document emails to automatically populate using the email address labeled 'CC' in the profile. This is currently done manually but automating it would save staff time. Referring to Grant Documents> Process Documents> Choose Batch> Email Documents.

  5. A way to customize fields on the display menus. For example, under Money In/Donations, being able to add the check number and description on the main display. Where ID, Created, Date, Donor, Fund, Type, Amount, be able to see the check number and description fields and perhaps who entered the donation.

  6. Scholarship Coordinator here: looking for ideas and/or potential solutions for calculating “unmet need” more efficiently. We are currently downloading a report for each scholarship fund. We receive about 600 applications each year, so it is very tedious. Currently we use “tables” in Foundant application that calculate applicant’s total financial support. However, then we take the applicant’s SAI number, add/sub to get “updated unmet need” calculation. This is very time-consuming. Does anybody have ideas automation? Or simpler process?

  8. We would like to add instructions on when to use individual vs household vs org on the checkout page. Currently, a lot of households use the individual setting and we can't change it on the back-end.

    That, or make the choices more visible. They're easy to miss!

  9. Currently, I can only download a NACHA file by date. It would be easier if I also had the option to download a NACHA file by batch because sometimes I want to pay them on the same day but post them in separate batches. Or if I just forget one grant, currently I have to pay it on a different day.

  10. The “Alumni” designation is a great option for adding education information to a profile. However, it would be better if we could rename it to “Education,” since the current label doesn’t really fit a community foundation’s needs.

  11. The Bank Reconcile Report is a clean and concise view of the monthly reconciliation. It lists everything needed: Transaction ID / Post Date / Check Number / Description / Check ID / Debit / Credit.

    Unfortunately, the Check Numbers are missing from the Export feature and much needed for our monthly data.

    Included on attached documentation 1) a screen shot of the Bank Reconcile Report and 2) a spreadsheet of the Export.

  12. I have many applicants that are continuously requesting their balances and want to see what was paid out. It would be most helpful if they could see that from their dashboard. It would be a time savor for all.

  13. Could we make Note Type mandatory? Currently, anyone can create a note within the system, and leave the Note Type blank. In terms of reporting, having Note Type filled in is key.

  14. When wanting to validate settings on each general ledger account it is hard to double check/verify any of the following settings as they are not possible to view in a custom report or to even export out of CSuite from the Chart of Accounts:
    Functional Expense
    Advisor
    IRS 1099 Field
    Investment Level

    Close to Equity Account
    Vendor
    Currency

  15. When sending grant award letters via Email - please create a function to auto-populate the non-primary emails into the cc fields. This would save so much time and not require staff to remember and manually add ccs each time. Alert notes don't even show up in the Email Grant Documents area so there's not an easy way to be reminded of who needs to be cced. There should be an option to automatically include more than just the primary email. Please also add any cc emails sent to the log of the grant and profile. Currently only the primary email…

  16. We have different engagement strategies based on internal personas. For example, we might have a "Frank Founder," (Founding Donor) that is also an "Andy Advisor," (professional advisor). Both have different engagement strategies such as the Andy Advisors getting invited to continuing education opportunities and Frank Founders getting invited to donor appreciation events. Is it possible to make change the drop down menu so that multiple engagement strategies can be selected? Or be able to add a custom field to help capture additional or "secondary engagement strategies?" Thank you for your consideration! :)

  17. We were in hopes of streamlining our communication with our payees when an ACH payment was processed. We enabled the check content but were disappointed when we tested the process that an automatic pdf is created that lists what Fund the payment is coming from. We would like the pdf to be an option that can be turned off OR have an option to not have the Fund shown on the pdf.

  18. Change the fund statement notification and email alert to a template which would allow for images (logos). Or add images <img src=""/> or {{img src=""/}} to html options. The current email is very basic despite having html capabilities. It's easy to overlook or mistake for spam. We currently send out an email notification through a third party which allows for image and logos. We would like to utilize the Csuite functionality instead.

  19. Please add an AUTOMATIC way to add SLM Follow Up Form, student thank you notes and pictures as files to share with Fund Advisors - in their "files" section.

    The current process is to individually:
    1) download each thank you note and student picture from the SLM Follow Up Form
    2) match with the known fund advisor, listed on file in C-Suite
    3) email each fund advisor (and donor) the thank you note and picture

  20. I think the Additional Notes section needs to be required so that when other information is needed people will put the information there and not be able to check out until it's there.
