Improve Notes to allow tagging people and threaded conversations
The Notes feature is widely used throughout the system for various purposes, including recording ad hoc information, providing clarification, and facilitating internal communication. Each of these actions are done without modifying the original record.
Notes can also serve as an audit trail, used for reminders, comments, and instructions.
When notes are used as a communication tool, there are several limitations:
Notes are presented in a linear format with no option to reply to specific entries, which can make conversations difficult to follow.
There is no way to tag users that you want to assign actions to, and no easy way to notify those people that something requires their attention.
Can we look at enhancing notes in the following ways:
User Tagging in Notes
Introduce the ability to tag users within notes to notify the user of important updates or required actions. This feature will include role-based permissions to control who can tag others and determine visibility for tagging. Replying to a note from an internal staff will auto tag the internal staff.Threaded Replies
Add support for replying to individual notes, enabling threaded conversations and more structured discussions within a note thread.Consistent User Interface
Standardize the notes interface across all clients to ensure a unified and intuitive user experience. Allow us to eliminate some layout options as well as improve the layout and mobile experience.

It would be great if a note that pertains to a user shows up as a notification in that user's portal Notifications area. Ideally it would be clickable too to take the user to that note. I have not figured out how to configure this and wondering if it's not possible currently.
