1. Stripe Terminal

   It's great that CSuite can now work with a Stripe credit card terminal, but it would be even better if a credit card transaction could be processed through the terminal without needing to be logged into CSuite. We have fundholders who hold events where they accept credit card payments; however, we will not provide them with access to CSuite so they wouldn't be able to use the new Stripe terminal. If the terminal could be used to record payments that would come through to CSuite from our Stripe account and allow Foundation staff to process after an event, that would be ideal. You shouldn't have to be logged into CSuite to use the terminal because that's really not much of an improvement on just typing in the credit card number like has always been possible. Please consider allowing the Stripe terminal to be used without the need for a CSuite login; this would be a huge help! Thank you!

3. Donation Portal Fund Grouping, Nonprofit Service Area, and Tabs

   Thanks for all the great recent donation portal updates! I like that we now have the option to show the fund's grant type on the fund listing page. It would be great if there was also the option to group funds by their grant types like how the nonprofit directory works. We like that the nonprofit directory includes the grant types, but it would be great if service areas could be an additional way to filter this page. In addition, it would be great to be able to reorder the tabs that appear on the portal. We don't currently have many events and would like the Nonprofits tab to appear before that. 4. nonprofit directory

   I'd like to see a couple of changes to the NEW LOOK version of the Nonprofit Directory:
   1. On the Main Page of the Directory, add a 'category heading' above the 'types/categories' of nonprofits as well as above the list:
   "By Category:" - for the groupings of NPs
   "By Name:" - for the list
   2. On the Main Page of the Directory, where all the nonprofits are listed, I suggest it NOT include the public email or phone #.
   I'd rather this be a simple list where the user has to click the nonprofit to go to the nonprofit's directory listing. Once there, they can select the contact info appropriate for them - more often than not, I think the website would take priority over the email.

5. Donation Portal: Filter/Search Funds

   An option for users to select multiple fields (radio buttons/checkboxes) rather than just searching for a fund.

   So, the checkboxes could allow a user to select two different service areas and filter the funds that way.

   Anything in the works for filtering funds?

6. Please add an "opt in" button on donation portal - so we can share donor info with agency grantee

   Hi - we are trying to figure out how we can easily share donor info with our agency fund holders on outside gifts they get to their designated fund. Can you add this "opt in" feature in the online donation portal?

7. html help

   It would be helpful if Foundant added a pay option to help us that know nothing about HTML to add simple things such as Logos etc to new donation portal, etc. We do not have a web designer or anyone with HTML knowledge. It is your expertise and could probably be done in a matter of minutes. We don't expect it for free. Can we not purchase blocks of time?

8. Donation Portal: Event Tickets option to cover the fees

   Can we have an option to turn off the "include credit card fees" box for the cart on the Event Tickets tab only? We want it for our Donate To a Fund" tab, but when it comes to Events, we find that if we have an event price=event value (there isn't a donation component in the event price), then if someone includes the option to cover the credit card fees, then an automatic donation letter for the credit card fee amount (less than $2.00) is sent to the even ticket purchaser. We want to keep the option for a DONOR to cover the credit card fees on the donate to a fund tab, but we would like the option to remove that credit card fee coverage on the event ticket tab. Why does a credit card fee classify as a donation for an event when they are receiving training/service?

10. Event ticket tabs on Donation Portal

    Please remove the internal page links that appear at the top of the screens when purchasing event tickets...
    Campaigns > Navigating the Middle - Becky David (this is the campaign description) > Workshop registration (ticket Name field)

    and also change the word "DONOR" on the event ticket summary page to match the next screen that says CONTACT. Not everyone on purchasing an event ticket is a Donor and it's confusing to them.

11. Donation Portal - Sort/Category Option for events

    Would you please consider adding a sort option or categories for events? We have events for NonProfit Professionals, Donors, Development Officers etc and it would be nice to be able to group them together for ease of viewing and registering.

12. Make Suggested Donation Levels Customizable for Affiliate/Supporting Org Donation Portals

    We like the idea of the suggested donation levels but would love to have them be customizable for our Affiliate/Supporting Org pages. Our giving circle has a specific membership level and it would be great to have that amount be the suggested donation for that page while having other suggested donation amounts for the general donation page. 13. New Public Donation Page Style - Banner Image Not Resizing

    In the new version of the public donation page, Foundant allows a banner at the top of the main page. Yet, there is no advice given to the size for this section. And, Foundant does not resize images for this piece of content to fit various screen sizes on different devices. I'll be honest, that's shocking for 2024. Responsive design should be a given. it affects accessibility, user experience and our reputation to provide a well-designed experience for our fundholders. Foundant gives the option for "dynamic images" on fund images, which means they do have the capability to do it. Foundant should have responsive design for their elements within the donation page.

16. Suggested text for fields to reduce donor error

    I find that donors often confuse prefixes with suffixes. Is it possible to have greyed out suggested text in the suffix field (e.g. Jr, Sr) so that they don't enter incorrect information? Stripe does this for their data entry fields.

17. Donation Portal Tribute Area Title

    The "Person being remembered/honored" title needs to be addressed. It splits the word "honored" into two lines. If there were a space after the / or if the text box this title is in were a bit larger, then that word might not split into two lines.

18. Editable Unique URL for Funds on the Donation Portal

    In place of being able to embed donation portals on webpages, it would be great to be able to edit the fund url's so that they are more friendly for donors and reflect the fund name or something we can customize. Instead of create/fund?funit_id=xxxx, it would be wonderful to show something like /donate/EveryStudentSucceeds.

    Funds that are not being promoted (internal funds) are showing up in the search bar of the donation portal and allowing donors to give to these funds and causing confusion.

    This is operating as designed.  A Donor can search for any funds that are not marked private.  If you do not want them to be included in the search results, edit the fund and click on the box marked private.

20. donor portal

    The only way to change the logo, is by uploading the new version under System Data or updating the style for the Donor Portal. The logo uploaded under system data has size restrictions: at least 150 px wide or tall (max 350 px wide or tall). However, our web designer is trying to code on the back end for a larger logo to be used across the header (like on our homepage for GLM) on our donor portal homepage but we are running into roadblocks given the restrictions on the CSuite logo size restrictions.
