Express consent to share donor info with fund holders
In order to comply with British Columbia privacy laws, we need to achieve "express consent" to share donor info via the donation pathway and track that consent so that info is shared appropriately with fund advisors. I'd like to see CSuite help us achieve that via the donation process with the addition of a checkbox during checkout.
The checkbox could look similar to the “Donation in Honour of” checkbox and read something like:
[_] Yes please share my name and contact information with the xxxFund Holder/Charity so they can contact me directly to share information about their programs and campaigns.…

Looking for a way to collect donations from donors who don't want to write a check or use a credit card (use ApplePay, PayPal, Venmo, etc). Donors are looking for an easy way to make a quick donation on their phone and/or use QR codes for making donations. How can this integrate to capture donor information?

Accidental duplicate donations by donors
It would be great if the system could trigger a pop up/warning if there is a duplicate donation in the cart (amount or fund or both) before it goes through the payment process. We're finding that every now and again a donor has not noticed the duplicate payment and has transacted twice when they only meant to once.

Pronoun field on donation forms
It would be great to have an optional pronoun field on donation forms, so those donating online can self-select their preferred pronouns. This would help with donor relations and making sure future communications with donors are informed and respectful.

Make "Grant Requests" Header Editable in Grant Catalog
Currently "Grant Requests" is hard coded as the header at the top of any grant catalog page and is unable to be removed or edited. We currently use the grant catalog to accept and track donations to grants and funds and do not use it to accept grant requests. It is confusing for donors to see “grant requests” as one of the most prominent things on the screen when that doesn't apply. It would be wonderful if this text could be removed or edited. Editable Unique URL for Funds on the Donation Portal
In place of being able to embed donation portals on webpages, it would be great to be able to edit the fund url's so that they are more friendly for donors and reflect the fund name or something we can customize. Instead of create/fund?funit_id=xxxx, it would be wonderful to show something like /donate/EveryStudentSucceeds.

Donation Portal Fund Grouping, Nonprofit Service Area, and Tabs
Thanks for all the great recent donation portal updates! I like that we now have the option to show the fund's grant type on the fund listing page. It would be great if there was also the option to group funds by their grant types like how the nonprofit directory works. We like that the nonprofit directory includes the grant types, but it would be great if service areas could be an additional way to filter this page. In addition, it would be great to be able to reorder the tabs that appear on the portal. We don't currently have…

Donation Portal: Filter/Search Funds
An option for users to select multiple fields (radio buttons/checkboxes) rather than just searching for a fund.
So, the checkboxes could allow a user to select two different service areas and filter the funds that way.
Anything in the works for filtering funds?

Stripe Terminal
It's great that CSuite can now work with a Stripe credit card terminal, but it would be even better if a credit card transaction could be processed through the terminal without needing to be logged into CSuite. We have fundholders who hold events where they accept credit card payments; however, we will not provide them with access to CSuite so they wouldn't be able to use the new Stripe terminal. If the terminal could be used to record payments that would come through to CSuite from our Stripe account and allow Foundation staff to process after an event, that would…

Make Suggested Donation Levels Customizable for Affiliate/Supporting Org Donation Portals
We like the idea of the suggested donation levels but would love to have them be customizable for our Affiliate/Supporting Org pages. Our giving circle has a specific membership level and it would be great to have that amount be the suggested donation for that page while having other suggested donation amounts for the general donation page. I find that donors are getting prefixes and suffixes mixed up. I'd like the option to include/exclude these fields from the donation portal or have a mask in the field so donors understand the information requested.

Display Event Tab when Registering for a Private Event
Because we do not publish our events to the general public, we have disabled the Event Tab on the Donation Portal. Unfortunately, when someone is registering for a private event, what they see at the top of the portal is our Donate Tab Name. This causes some confusion about what they are doing. Is there any way to display the event tab name when someone is registering for an event?

Fix donation page view on mobile phone
When viewing a fund on the donor portal on a mobile phone, the text is posted to the far right of the image, making the page look clunky and creating a large space between funds. Instead of paying an outside web designer to fix this, this should be fixed internally at Foundant.

It would be helpful if Foundant added a pay option to help us that know nothing about HTML to add simple things such as Logos etc to new donation portal, etc. We do not have a web designer or anyone with HTML knowledge. It is your expertise and could probably be done in a matter of minutes. We don't expect it for free. Can we not purchase blocks of time?

Donation Portal - Sort/Category Option for events
Would you please consider adding a sort option or categories for events? We have events for NonProfit Professionals, Donors, Development Officers etc and it would be nice to be able to group them together for ease of viewing and registering.

New Public Donation Page Style - Banner Image Not Resizing
In the new version of the public donation page, Foundant allows a banner at the top of the main page. Yet, there is no advice given to the size for this section. And, Foundant does not resize images for this piece of content to fit various screen sizes on different devices. I'll be honest, that's shocking for 2024. Responsive design should be a given. it affects accessibility, user experience and our reputation to provide a well-designed experience for our fundholders. Suggested text for fields to reduce donor error
I find that donors often confuse prefixes with suffixes. Is it possible to have greyed out suggested text in the suffix field (e.g. Jr, Sr) so that they don't enter incorrect information? Stripe does this for their data entry fields.
