  1. Financial Report Details

    More Categories for Income and Expenses
    For the Income Statement (and Budget), would you consider adding a couple of more categories for Income and Expenses? We have regular Income, Fundraising Income and Grant Income and for Expenses we have Administrative, Fundraising and Grant Expenses. This aligns with completing our 990 at the end of the year.

  2. Non-Gift Transactions for donations

    Refunds, CLATs, and payments are not considered gifts in the accounting world. Need to be able to distinguish between Gifts and Non-gifts and the non-gift account number should be blank to be filled in instead of using a default number. Non-gifts should not be considered Gifts in donation reporting. FIMS had this feature and in CSuite there are too many steps to re-categorize these transactions.

  3. Credit Card Transaction Calculations

    Calculations of the transactions as you enter them be shown on the same screen so your entries equals the statement balance. Instead of having to leave the screen to verify your balance. Manually running a calculator prior to leaving the screen, is an inconvenience to verify your entries. I prefer to balance on the spot instead of going from screen to screen. One-spot-verification. Thank you.

  4. Adding Agency Funds liability amount to Balance Sheet

    One of the functions of Community Foundations is to do the back office work for some of the not-for-profits in our area – as is the case for most of our agency funds. The balance sheet is used as an assets under management tool which is why we include our agency funds in our asset total BUT they are not our true assets which is the need for the liability number to show on the balance sheet.     The way this will be implemented first is going to be a new drop down under the balance sheet. You currently have one for agency that breaks it up into agency and non-agency numbers. The new one will be called “Agency-Liab” (or something like that) that will do some calculations for you. In the liabilities section, it will add a line called “Agency Fund Liability” that will be the total of the assets – liabilities for agency funds. In the equity section, it would decrease the equity account balances (and remove the links) by the amount for agency funds in those lines.

    Would that cover what you need?

  5. Require a password confirmation when adding new users.

    It's very easy to put a typo into a password, resulting in an unknown password.

    I appreciate the new ability to record unused checks, but I cannot record an unused check if its check number has been used by another checking account.

  7. Add 'date of birth' ("DOB") field in Stripe / donor portal to facilitate better data collection

    Data drives our Foundation and is needed for better donor research. This should be a required field. It would be ideal to allow us to select which demographic information is required before submitting a donation

  8. Edit Profile Payments

    Please add the ability to edit profile payment details. If you've gone through the process of creating a profile payment but set an incorrect date or amount, the whole profile payment has to be deleted. This is particularly challenging once you've already created invoices and donations tied to the profile payment.

  9. reference number

    We use the reference number on the vouchers to put in the account number or date for many payments. However, it does not allow us to use the same reference number for the same vendor, which makes it difficult to add the account number for payments made to the same vendor at different times. It would be nice if the system allowed the same reference number. If no reference number is entered, the system can still create one as it does now.

  10. Customizations to / different versions of NACHA files

    The current NACHA file format requires a small edit before uploading it to our bank, which is a major US bank. It would be great to have some limited ability to customize the NACHA file, or to have formats for major banks available.

  11. Campaign Ticket Invoices

    It would be great if we could create an invoice from the tickets in campaigns rather than "selling" a ticket immediately. This way it will separate the donation and fees versus having to create invoices through regular payments. I have to open previous month's books in order to delete invoices and re-create them in the campaign once I finally receive the payment.

  12. Show or hide Scholarships tab by Fund Advisor

    Currently, once a fund has scholarships visible on the portal, it is visible for all fund advisors. That tab should be able to be toggled on and off for individual advisors the way the grants tab can be.

  13. Need additional fields for noncash gifts on the yearly tax receipt

    When we generate receipts for noncash gifts, we do not provide a value for the gift, only a description. When we generate a yearly tax receipt for donors with some noncash gifts, it just populates the cash value. Some additional fields around payment type would allow us to use merge logic to solve this, or the public security fields could be included on the yearly tax receipt template.

  15. Add column for primary email to unsent tax receipts page

    If there was an additional column that showed the donor's primary email on the unsent tax receipts page, it would be much easier to check and uncheck the right boxes for bulk processing.

  16. Add donor ID as a reportable field

    It would be great to be able to pull a custom report with the profile id and donor id to be able to navigate to donor records more quickly.

  17. Show all invoice items when invoices are exported on the fund advisor portal

    The description of invoices lives on the invoice item level, but the fund advisor portal only shows the invoice level - ie. Fund advisors can view the invoice ID, amount and customer name, but not any description of what the invoice is for.

    It would be great if, when the fund advisor exported the invoices tab, it showed all invoice items, quantities, etc.
