CC and BCC E-mail to attach donor correspondence
I would like to suggest adding a function that allows users to cc or bcc a email sent externally (through Outlook or Gmail) to that donors profile. In past roles, I have had this ability - If I included this address in my email it was attached to the donor profile with a matching e-mail address. It's good and soooooo valuable in communicating!
Little Green Light is an example of a CRM that empowers this.

- 12/5/2024:Outlook Integration: Added the ability for users to connect CSuite using an Outlook App. In the Me section of CSuite in the left hand menu, users will see the API keys. Selecting this menu option will bring the user to the API keys menu. Users will see the manually install or IT install instructions for the Outlook Integration. Once this is loaded in the users Outlook, they can create an API key. Select Create and add a description. This will take the user to the API key with Site, API key and API Secret. These fields will be needed in the Outlook App. In Outlook, users can search in the App Store or maybe visible in the quick menu bar. The icon will read Foundant for Outlook Integration, Add note to CSuite. Once the App is opened on there will be a Settings button. Select the settings button and enter the site, API key, and API Secret and Save. Once the settings are complete. The user can then select an email they would like to have in CSuite as a note on a profile. The search box will appear and users can search names or emails of profiles in CSuite. The integration will recognize the sender of the email, and populate a list of profiles with the corresponding email in the search box. Search results will appear in a drop down box under the search box. This will display the profile name, profile id, and profile type(individual, household, or organization). Select a profile from the results and select Add Note to Profile. This will add the entire email chain as a note to the profile's note tab. Users can attach the email to additional search results, by selecting the next profile and Add note to profile.
- Things to Note: Setting up the App manually or with IT will need to be completed until our App is certified with Microsoft.

I used this feature with Advance as well for daily correspondence and it was a timesaver! Would love to see this feature included!!!

Many other CRM databases have a feature where each user is assigned a unique "BCC to notes" email. When you email a donor, and you apply that BCC email, then the email content is automatically saved to the profile. This is a HUGE time saver. I emailed tech support, who said this feature doesn't exist. I really encourage you to make it. Otherwise, I now have to copy and paste emails to the profile to document engagement and contact history with a particular donor. This is so laborious and unnecessary.

Create a BCC option in MS Outlook that will automatically convert the Outlook email to a Note in CSuite posted to a Profile with a matching email address. This is an option for Salesforce users which works very well. It also allows more functionality for the email, including HTML formatting and sending attachments. And would be much better for one-off emails to donors, etc (versus group emails via MailChimp)
