  1. Is it possible to show the donations of linked households on the donor portal? Our Foundation processes donations from the household, however users login under their individual profile. It would be great if donors could see donations from their household as well as their individual profile.

    2/815/2025: Portal - Portal Options - Portal Settings - Donor: Added new settings for the Donor page in the portal to display household and/or advised donations. With the Show Household Donations, a donor can view their individual donations and the household's donations. They will not be able to see any other household member's individual's donations. With the Show Show Advised Donations, a donor can view their individual advised donations.

    Portal-Donors: Added Household and Advised columns to the donation listing. This will allow donors to see if a donation is an advised donation or a household donation, if the setting is enabled in Portal Settings-Donor: Show Household and Show Advised Donations. These columns were also added to the export.

  2. We would love to have the option to disable the legacy portal when we enable the New Donor Portal. There are many issues with both of them being live at the same time, including how the content for the Portal maps to both portals. We put detailed instructions for fundholders in the content area and now the Legacy portal is incredibly unprofessional because the instructions are wrong. While we hope none of our fundholders navigate to the Legacy portal, we suspect many of them have the URL bookmarked on their computer. It's not a good look for us and we…

    • 10/25/2024: Portal Options-Portal Settings: Added a Redirect Legacy Fundadvisor Portal Login option on the Settings table. This will allow organizations the flexibility to work setup of the Portal and redirect the fund advisors to the new login when they are ready to start using the new Portal pages.


  3. Allow the label 'Donor Information' to be customized dependent on the checkout page. It would be great to be able to revise to 'Registrant Information' on the event tickets checkout.

    • 1/15/2025: Giving Hub: Updated the checkout workflow to replace Donor Information label with Your Information and removed the description label above the cart listed items. Added asterisks to required fields for donors in checkout workflow. Updated the telephone field with the ability to accept international phone numbers.


  4. We really would appreciate the ability to show closed fund activity on the portal. It’s often extremely important for our donors to see historical information, even when a fund is no longer being used. If closed funds can’t be shown there, could CSuite provide an ability to merge Funds, similar to the ability to merge Profiles?

    Let me provide a little background: Our foundation’s process is to close a fund when the type of the fund changes (i.e. passthrough to endowed). Being able to show the history of the gifts/grants in the fund advisor portal would allow our fund holders…

    2/6/2025:Portal - Fund Advisor: Added an new setting to display closed funds on the portal. This new setting can be enabled in Portal Options>Portal Settings>Fund Advisor>Edit Fund Advisor. When enabled, a logged in fund advisor will see funds that are closed. On the main fund page, closed funds will display with a "closed" label in red. When the closed fund is selected, there is a display at the top of the fund summary page "This fund is closed". 

  5. Currently, when a Fund's spendable balance is $0.00 it does not show on the portal. It would be helpful for Fund Advisors to know their spendable balance has been exhausted.

In the Fund Advisor portal, on the Grant Request form, there is no indication (such as with an asterisk) which fields are required, so a user must click the submit button before they are advised which fields are required. It would be nice if required fields could indicate they were required when the form is first loaded.

    1/29/2025: Portal - Grant Request: Add visual indication of required fields.

  7. Consider adding Donation Comments/Donation Notes to be visible under the Grantee and Fund Advisor tabs (similar to how they are now available on the donor tab).

    The Donation Comments/Donation notes were recently added to the donation portal, but we find the larger use case is for the Grantee and the Fund Advisor to see the Donation comments in their portal tabs. Without this, they are missing important context and have to be interacted with manually by our staff to continuosly provide this information.

    1/29/2025: Portal - Grantee: Updated Grant Donations section to display donor email address under mailing address and added donation comments when a user drills into the Grant ID for a pass thru donation. Recognition Name, Donation Comments, and Tribute name will now display together in the Details column.

  8. Reposting with more clarification-

    We need the ability to style Affiliate/SO Portals on the back end, previously this was in the "Donor Portal Fund" section of styles (see attached screenshot). Currently, all of our affiliate/SO funds will lose their specific branding if we enable the new Portal enhancements. We consider this a priority to move toward the new portal to ensure our partner funds/foundations are properly identified to their stakeholders.

    • 1/30/2025: Styles - Portal: Added an option to create a style for a for an affiliate group. In Styles, select Add Style then select Portal Affiliate Style. This will apply to the affiliate org and related funds. There is not an option to style the login page for the affiliate.


  9. Include donations advised by the donor in the 'My Donations' tab on the portal. Without it, donors are not seeing their true complete giving history.

  10. Within a campaign, there should be an option to 'bulk delete' records when you are manually scanning the profiles tab. Similar to how you can select (or deselect) tax receipts to send from the donations bucket, you should be able to select certain records and then click "delete" vs having to click "delete" individually from a campaign.

    3/5/2025:: In a campaign on the Ticket report, accessible from the Tickets tab, has been upgraded to a custom report. This update provides the ability to filter and export the report for enhanced flexibility and analysis. "To Assign" column has been added to the Ticket report. This new column allows users to quickly view the number of tickets that are yet to be assigned, streamlining the ticket management process. When selecting the Ticket Report, users will see a Resend Guest Link option in the left hand menu. This is a bulk action and will allow the ability to resend the Guest Link. Campaigns: The TypeID is now displayed in the Request table, providing more granular visibility into request data. A Short Name field has been added to requests. This short name will appear next to the request response in the report, providing an abbreviated version of the request name…

  12. The users should be able to identify the date range that they want to see the Grant History or Donation History for, and to be able to export the results of that date range. We have users who only want the past year or past quarter results to download and right now they are not able to self-serve this way. We have to provide a specific report to them. The new portal should allow users to identify date ranges for the information they need.

    3/4/2025:Portals: Added the ability to filter the data tables on the portal by a data range. Using the Search bar will still allow for additional filtering. This button replaced the reset button. Users can still adjust the columns on the pages.

    • 10/02/2024:(10-02-2024) Added a new permission called Full Access. A user will need this permission to have full access to Custom Reports. If a user does not have this permission, they will only have the ability to view, export, and filter custom reports. With this permission, user will be able to delete any reports. This will also remove the API ability and scheduling reports.
    • This will be released for anyone with Custom Report permission and may require updates from Administrators.

  15. When a fund is marked 'private' to not show in the fund listing on the donation portal, still allow for the fund to be granted from in the fund advisor portal.

    We have fund holders who would like to make an internal grant from one of their 'private' funds but aren't given this option because the fund is marked 'private'.

    Please unlink the ability to request a grant from a 'private' fund on the advisor portal from the 'private' indicator on the fund as it is still desired to not have the fund appearing on the donation page fund list.

    This was released on 1/27/2025:

    • Portal - Fund Advisor: A logged in fund advisor will now be able to donate to a private fund when selecting donate from the Portal. Private funds will display in alphabetical order before promoted funds.


  16. I created a template I need to delete. I can't delete it because it is the default, and there is no other template in that category. We just don't need one in that category. But having one bad one isn't great either - I just want to delete it.

  17. When you search for an org on the portal in the GrantReq tab using the name of the org and the city and state, but type out the state name, it does not show any results. You have to format the text field as the two digit code (OH, VA, etc.) not the name (e.g. Ohio, Virginia, etc).

    Can this state field be changed to a table rather than text field? Or can it be inclusive of both state codes and states spelled out so it's user-friendly?

    1/29/2025: Portal - Grant Request - Search Grantee: Allow the input of a full state name or abbreviation in the state field.

  18. I would like an option to complete multiple grants all at one time, but not ALL grants. Our organization utilizes this function to track when our organizations have submitted their completed grant reports on how funds were used. We process grants and two different types of scholarships. We don't need grant reports for scholarships so I want to mark them complete right after processing them. Right now though this is an all or nothing feature from what I can tell so I have to manually go into each grant and complete it because I don't want to bulk complete all…

    6/5/2024: Summit Idea Lab-Enhanced the Paid bucket in Grants to a custom report to allow for filtering options. This will also allow for the ability to select grants in bulk or individual grants to move to Complete bucket.

    No Permissions Changed.

  19. Recently the grant description field was marked as required for the Donor Portal via another IdeaLab. However this is a burden for us and our fundholders (and I imagine some of your other clients too).

    I would love to this the grant description field be a Donor Portal Setting checkbox where the field could be optionally required. This would meet the needs of all of your clients, empowering them to set up the portal in the best way to support their operations.

    We are worried that more of our fundholders will restrict their grants if this field is required and…
