Enable new donor portal = disable legacy portal
We would love to have the option to disable the legacy portal when we enable the New Donor Portal. There are many issues with both of them being live at the same time, including how the content for the Portal maps to both portals. We put detailed instructions for fundholders in the content area and now the Legacy portal is incredibly unprofessional because the instructions are wrong. Ability to edit "donor information" label on checkout page
Allow the label 'Donor Information' to be customized dependent on the checkout page. It would be great to be able to revise to 'Registrant Information' on the event tickets checkout.

Closed Funds - Displaying Activity on the Portal
We really would appreciate the ability to show closed fund activity on the portal. It’s often extremely important for our donors to see historical information, even when a fund is no longer being used. If closed funds can’t be shown there, could CSuite provide an ability to merge Funds, similar to the ability to merge Profiles?

30 votes2/6/2025:Portal - Fund Advisor: Added an new setting to display closed funds on the portal. This new setting can be enabled in Portal Options>Portal Settings>Fund Advisor>Edit Fund Advisor. When enabled, a logged in fund advisor will see funds that are closed. On the main fund page, closed funds will display with a "closed" label in red. When the closed fund is selected, there is a display at the top of the fund summary page "This fund is closed".

Show $0.00 Spendable Balance
Currently, when a Fund's spendable balance is $0.00 it does not show on the portal. It would be helpful for Fund Advisors to know their spendable balance has been exhausted.

Indicate Required fields on Grant Request form
In the Fund Advisor portal, on the Grant Request form, there is no indication (such as with an asterisk) which fields are required, so a user must click the submit button before they are advised which fields are required. It would be nice if required fields could indicate they were required when the form is first loaded.

donation comments
Consider adding Donation Comments/Donation Notes to be visible under the Grantee and Fund Advisor tabs (similar to how they are now available on the donor tab).
The Donation Comments/Donation notes were recently added to the donation portal, but we find the larger use case is for the Grantee and the Fund Advisor to see the Donation comments in their portal tabs. Without this, they are missing important context and have to be interacted with manually by our staff to continuosly provide this information.
24 votes1/29/2025: Portal - Grantee: Updated Grant Donations section to display donor email address under mailing address and added donation comments when a user drills into the Grant ID for a pass thru donation. Recognition Name, Donation Comments, and Tribute name will now display together in the Details column.

"Back End" Affiliate/SO Fund Advisor Portal Styling
Reposting with more clarification-
We need the ability to style Affiliate/SO Portals on the back end, previously this was in the "Donor Portal Fund" section of styles (see attached screenshot). Currently, all of our affiliate/SO funds will lose their specific branding if we enable the new Portal enhancements. We consider this a priority to move toward the new portal to ensure our partner funds/foundations are properly identified to their stakeholders.
23 votes- 1/30/2025: Styles - Portal: Added an option to create a style for a for an affiliate group. In Styles, select Add Style then select Portal Affiliate Style. This will apply to the affiliate org and related funds. There is not an option to style the login page for the affiliate.

Permission to Delete Others' Shared Reports
Create a level of permission that allows select admins to delete, rename, or reassign ownership of other users' shared custom reports.
36 votes- 10/02/2024:(10-02-2024) Added a new permission called Full Access. A user will need this permission to have full access to Custom Reports. If a user does not have this permission, they will only have the ability to view, export, and filter custom reports. With this permission, user will be able to delete any reports. This will also remove the API ability and scheduling reports.

private on funds
When a fund is marked 'private' to not show in the fund listing on the donation portal, still allow for the fund to be granted from in the fund advisor portal.
We have fund holders who would like to make an internal grant from one of their 'private' funds but aren't given this option because the fund is marked 'private'.
Please unlink the ability to request a grant from a 'private' fund on the advisor portal from the 'private' indicator on the fund as it is still desired to not have the fund appearing on the donation page fund list.

Delete Default Templates
I created a template I need to delete. I can't delete it because it is the default, and there is no other template in that category. We just don't need one in that category. But having one bad one isn't great either - I just want to delete it.

Change State Search in Portal to Table
When you search for an org on the portal in the GrantReq tab using the name of the org and the city and state, but type out the state name, it does not show any results. You have to format the text field as the two digit code (OH, VA, etc.) not the name (e.g. Ohio, Virginia, etc).
Can this state field be changed to a table rather than text field? Or can it be inclusive of both state codes and states spelled out so it's user-friendly?

Complete Multiple Grants at One Time
I would like an option to complete multiple grants all at one time, but not ALL grants. Our organization utilizes this function to track when our organizations have submitted their completed grant reports on how funds were used. We process grants and two different types of scholarships. We don't need grant reports for scholarships so I want to mark them complete right after processing them. Right now though this is an all or nothing feature from what I can tell so I have to manually go into each grant and complete it because I don't want to bulk complete all…

Make Grant Description optional in the Donor Portal
Recently the grant description field was marked as required for the Donor Portal via another IdeaLab. However this is a burden for us and our fundholders (and I imagine some of your other clients too).
I would love to this the grant description field be a Donor Portal Setting checkbox where the field could be optionally required. This would meet the needs of all of your clients, empowering them to set up the portal in the best way to support their operations.

File search, download and delete
We are uploading documents to CSUITE for ease of access but we need to follow our record retention policy and need an easy way to sort files, download multiple files, and delete in bulk. It would be great if we had the option to do all those functions based on file categories and dates.
13 votesThere is already an option built to bulk delete files. A user must have the Bulk Delete permission set in Files. In Files, filter by created Ts date and/or File Cat Name. There is then an option to bulk delete on the left side menu. Here is the link to the support hub article.

Nonprofit Directory: Option to hide email and phone columns
On the Nonprofit Directory settings, add option to 'display' or 'hide' the 'Email' and 'Phone' columns so we have the ability to just display a list of the Nonprofit Organizations.

New Portal: We should have the option not to show Interest Types on Portal
We use Interest Types internally and do not want them listed publicly on the new Portal when Fundholders or Donors login in. They are not currently listed in the old Fund Portal but are listed as soon as someone logs into the new Portal.
I reached out to support to figure out how to turn these off and they said "After connecting with my CSuite team, they have informed me that there isn't a way to hide the Interest Types at the moment. They recommended submitting this enhancement idea to Idea Lab."
We shouldn't be forced to show Interest Types…

Maintain features exclusive to fund advisors in the donation portal
The "all-in-one" donation portal is going to cause foundations problems with fund advisors based on how it is currently being configured. We have adapted the new portal, and we so far have discovered the following issues: 1. Fund advisors can no longer donate to their own fund through the portal without either a)making their fund public; or b) send them a link to their fund that defeats the purpose of giving them access to the portal for all their fund needs. Allow Donor Addresses on Donations to be pulled for reports
The donor addresses found on donation records are not available to include in custom reports. Since the address on a donation may differ from what's found on a donor's profile, it would help to be able to view donation addresses through custom reports and exports. Right now, it requires manually viewing individual donations in the system to see that information.
