Portal: ACH Option
With the addition of ACH information to the portal, I propose adding a verification button to improve security and accuracy. Verifying ACH details before use is a standard best practice to minimize user errors and prevent fraud. This feature would notify the foundation when new ACH details are added, prevent unverified transactions, and reduce errors and fraud by allowing a temporary hold on banking information being used until verification is complete. Implementing this feature would enhance data integrity, security, and overall operational efficiency.

Login As --Removes user's existing login
I know that Login As was intended to bounce the user out of their own CSuite login when used; however, I would ask that you reconsider this approach. From a Customer Service perspective, this is a nightmare. We most often use Login As when on the phone with a Fund Advisor (and now could be anyone with portal access), to help them troubleshoot either getting into the system or working with the system. If we then have to answer any questions that require us to be logged into CSuite ourselves, the portal user has to wait while the customer service…

Allow fund advisors to see voucher files that are shared with them
There is a workflow that will give the fund advisor access to view grant documents that are shared with them.
When the grant is created from a request, you can share the uploaded file with the advisor by marking the document as Shared. Once it’s shared at the grant level, the fund advisor will be able to see and open that file when they pull up the grant in the portal.
This same functionality is needed for Vouchers. The advisor submits the voucher with the voucher request but then can no longer see the documentation once it becomes a voucher.

New Portal: Add "Grant to Another Foundation Fund" as a button on the Grant Request Page
In the legacy portal there is a clear way for an Advisor to search for another foundation fund to recommend a grant. In the new portal you have to click "Previous Grantee", even if the Advisor has never given to that fund before. There should be a button that says Grant to Another Foundation Fund so that Advisors know where to go to make interfund grants. This is especially important for emergency & disaster response funds and giving circles. Please make it clearer so our Fund Advisors know how to recommend grants to other funds at the foundation.

Portal - customize email subject line and body
There should be a way to customize the email subject line and body in the portal. We have a new portal user who has reached out to us about editing some of the wording as it is confusing to the user and I agree. The specific instance is the email that the user receives after submitting a grant request and the subject line is "Request Confirmation". To the user, it sounds like they need to take action, when it should say something like "We’ve Received Your Grant Request" or "Thanks for Submitting Your Grant Request". Same with the body of…

Donor Portal Financials - Only Allow Reporting on Closed Periods
We would love to enable the option for fund advisors to run manual fund statements or view financials. However, if we enable this, they can run these on any time period, closed or open. Until we close a period, information in an open period should remain internal only and not be available to fund advisors as it is subject to change. We have donors who would get upset if they saw something change from one day to the next.
Can the portal be configured to only allow financial reporting and manual fund statement generation for fund advisors within closed periods?…

Enhanced User Login & Engagement Tracking in Community Suite
We push people to the Portal a lot, but right now we really don’t have a good way to see how often people are actually logging in.
We can’t easily tell who’s active, who hasn’t logged in for a while, or whether people are using the Portal the way we hope they are. Without that info, it’s hard to know what’s working, where users might be getting stuck, or how engaged our fund advisors and other users really are.
It would be incredibly helpful if C-Suite could make basic login details—like last login date, how many times someone has logged…

Sync Household Address When Individual Updates Address via Portal
Foundations increasingly allow donors and fund advisors to update their contact information directly through the Portal, which is a great improvement for data accuracy and staff efficiency.
However, when an individual profile that belongs to a household updates their address, the household address is not automatically updated. Many foundations use the household record as the primary source for mailings and communications, which can lead to inconsistencies and outdated addresses.
Current Challenge:
-Individual updates address via Portal
-Household address remains unchanged
-Mailings continue to pull from the household record
-Staff must manually reconcile recordsProposed Enhancement
Provide an option to:
-Automatically…6 votes -
Column Spacing for Fund Statement List on Portal
On the Fund Statement page of the new fund advisor portal, the list has 3 columns -- Description, Date, and View. The Date column is much wider in the full page view and the description is too tight. Is it possible to better space those columns so that it fits better the width of the information in the column?

portal demo
A potential fundholder wants to get a tour of our portal ahead of deciding whether to open his fund with our community foundation. Is there a way to give him a tour of our white-labeled portal without showing him another person’s donor-advised fund data?
Just like Foundant, or any other software company, community foundations need the ability to walk a potential fundholder through the UX of the system as part of their cultivation efforts to open new funds.

Implement an easy way for our fund advisors to make an internal donation from their fund to our Community Foundation fund. Right now, it's done through Grant Request but this requires a number of steps and is not intuitive.

Remove "Review Grant Request" and add Submit
Currently in the donor portal, before a donor submits their grants, there is a button that says "Review Grant Request". Can we please change this to say submit the grants? I have had numerous phone calls from our donors because they are frustrated with the clicks before the grants are submitted. We have several older donors who are confused by that button and let their grants sit in the cart. I would love to see an easier process/button to submit grant requests.

Portal: Display donor mailing label or recognition name instead of name
Options for how fund advisors see donor info -- When displaying donor info to a fund advisor in the portal, we should have options for how the name is displayed. In many cases, it would be great to have the Mailing Label field (e.g. J. Jackson Smith) or Recognition Name field (e.g. Jack Smith) showing instead of the Name field (e.g. Smith, Jonathan Jackson).

Display a “Fund Donation Total” on the Advisor Portal showing the all-time total donations made to a fund. This can be placed on the Donations tab or another location on the portal where it is best suited.

Cart Button for Affiliates in Portal
When an affiliate logs into the portal and submits grant requests, the "cart" button does not appear for them. They must go to the left hand navigation to navigate to the Grant Requests page where the grants are in the cart. It would make more sense for them to have the same "cart" button appear like other funds.

Fund Advisor Portal Inconsistencies
Adding a fund to the grant catalog functions differently in the fund portal-facing catalog than it does in the public-facing catalog. There are also differences in how funds function when added to a portal-facing catalog, as opposed to all other imported requests. I’ll give an example and explain the problems this presents.
In the portal-facing catalog, there is no “Learn More” button. This is inconsistent with the “Learn More” buttons on other requests imported from GLM or added manually. Additionally, clicking on a fund does not take you to an intermediary screen to read the full fund description (as do…8 votes -
password
Many of our donors or grantees with access to the portal are having trouble setting (or resetting) a password because there is no guidance on the login page for what their passwords must contain, i.e. minimum characters, special characters, etc. I asked support if we could add info on the login page but they said, currently, there is no ability to do this. Please vote and thanks for considering!

Make Fund IDs More Visible in Portal
It would be very helpful to make Fund ID numbers visible more easily on Fund Manager. At the Community Foundation of the Ozarks, we regularly urge agency partner fund advisors to use Fund Manager to initiate grant requests, but we still have several who email in their requests or simply reach out with questions about their funds. We have been encouraging them to use their fund ID numbers when emailing a grant request or questions, so we can ensure we look at the correct fund, but fund IDs are NOT currently easy to find in Fund Manager. They usually have…

Portal Login email send option from CSuite for all login types
It would be highly beneficial to have the Portal Login Email option available in CSuite for all designations, not just Fund Advisors. Our team regularly creates login emails for Donors and Grantees, and enabling this feature for these groups would: Standardize communication across all designations & reduce reliance on Outlook for manual sends and save significant time and reduce errors through automation
Currently, this functionality appears limited to Fund Advisors. Expanding it to Donors and Grantees would materially improve efficiency.
