  1. Foundant recently removed the option to populate tax receipts with the sale amount of stock (soldamount). Our donors expect to see two numbers on their acknowledgements for public securities - the value of the gift (average of the high and low values on the date of receipt) and the amount that actually goes into their fund (sold amount). Having the soldamount field removed the manual work for our team in adding this value to our tax receipts and reduced the margin of error. Please bring it back!

  2. It would be a great help to be able to preview the way emails will look prior to sending. We emailed some stock letters that were missing gift data and I had no way to know that. Irksome.

For Donations that are from a Donor Advised Fund or other scenarios where you have an Advisor to the donation that needs the tax receipt or acknowledgement letter (e.g., Edward Jones account is donor, but Jane Smith is advisor), the envelope template in Csuite still pulls "Edward Jones 1234 Foundant St" as the address, not the donor advisor. How can this be changed or can I change the envelope template and re upload this? I have to go to the donor advisor profile each time and print an envelope from their profile, rather than just use the streamlined 'print envelopes'…

  4. Please make the Grant Funding table, found at the bottom of a Grant Catalog Grant once it has been funded, available to the Grant Letter and Grant Award Letter templates. Currently, it is not possible to use a template to pull where the grant was funded from out of the system.

    Nonprofits often want to know where the money comes from when they are funded for a Grant Catalog grant. The only way is to manually pull that info out of the system, and it isn't really reportable either.

  5. Currently, Yearly Tax Receipts can only be produced in bulk as PDF's versus Word Documents. I would like to have the ability to select the file format download you'd like (PDF or Word.docx) for the Yearly Tax Receipt. This would then keep the options for YTR the same independently if you run them in bulk or individually.

    Currently, we would need to have something similar to Adobe Acrobat to turn the PDF into a Word Doc.

  6. Currently, the Print Envelope feature only allows envelopes to be generated as PDF files. It would be very helpful if there was an option to choose for the envelopes to be generated as a Word document, as there is usually a need to edit the envelope prior to printing.

  7. It would be nice to have a field enabling the creation of a formula that checks whether the grant advisor is part of a household or not in the Grant Letter template. If yes, it will pull the household label instead of the individual advisor label field.

  8. Is there a way that a filter can be added like the one on the 990 report (total donations exceeding) to the donor report to run tax receipts letters for only a certain dollar amount, (see attached screenshots).
    Please consider this request, I think it will help a lot of foundation out at year end.

  9. We have had several universities complain that the scholarship letter template is messy and that it would be easier if it was organized by student name. After poking around and speaking with a support specialist, it seems this is not possible.

    I have attached a copy of our current scholarship letter with fake names to give an idea of how Csuite currently arranges the order of students, which is by individual grant. I've also attached an alphabetized version of the same list of "students" to show a better flow.

  10. It would be helpful to be able to set both a default email tax receipt and print tax receipt templates by fund. Currently you can only set one default per fund but we want to include an image of a signature for an emailed tax receipt but want to sign printed tax receipts. Being able to setup two defaults could make this possible without significant work.

  12. Allow Custom Fields to help select a tax receipt template. For example, we have a custom field to indicate if a certain tax receipt should be tied to a fund. It would be great if when we change that field, the tax receipt template is then also updated. I know there is functionality to include funds to templates based on their group, subgroup, segment and division but those are fields already used that don't apply to how we want to differentiate our templates.

  13. When a donor makes a tribute gift online via Stripe and does not elect to notify someone, all available template fields begin with capitalized "In Honor/Memory of MB". There is no option for "MB" (honoree name only) or "in honor of MB" (lower case "i" and "h/m").

    This makes things difficult for us because we want to mention the tribute in the automatically system-generated acknowledgement letter back to the donor, and it looks awkward with the capitalization.

    Would it be possible to add at least one template field with either the honoree name only OR lower case "in honor of"?…

  14. Including the organization contact label field in the pledge reminder template would be highly beneficial.
    Currently, the template displays the donor's name "(organization)" without providing the primary contact's full name field.
    It shows:
    Foundation Name
    address1, 2
    City, State, Zip

  15. Currently, if we create 'one-off' tax receipt templates for donor acknowledgements, we have removed the template and saved off site to keep our templates from becoming cluttered. It would be helpful if we could instead 'Archive' or make certain tax receipt templates 'Inactive' so they don't populate when entering donations to allow for a more clean and efficient entry process.

  16. We would like to be able to assign check templates to funds. We have our default check and several other check templates. Almost all of the additional templates are specific to certain funds. It would be great if we could set a default check for each fund.

  17. Can you PLEASE add an additional field to the securities section of the tax receipt? We need the Net Deposit Amount. We would also appreciate have the Fees as an option to pull onto our tax receipt. We would like to communicate to donors the amount that will show in their fund. Thanks so much.

  18. When we generate fund statements for mailing, we also export a CSV of the fund advisors who should be receiving the statements to merge into an envelope. When the CSV is generated, contact information is not exported for organizations, only individuals. This is critical as fund statements should go to certain people within the organizations and sometimes even multiple people within the organization. Please fix the CSV export!
