  1. Allow Profile Fund link Categories to be edited vs having to delete the Profile Fund link and adding the fund back with the newly desired Category. Example, we are changing 'advisor' to 'primary advisor' or 'secondary advisor' and having to delete the Profile Fund link w/ 'advisor' category and then adding the fund back with the Profile Fund link of 'advisory-primary' or 'advisor-secondary'.

  2. It would be AMAZING to have "Edit" permissions on Funds broken out slightly more. We do not want the entire organization to be able to "Edit" a Fund because that gives access to change investment pools, admin fees, division, segment, etc - way too many buttons that drastically change audit, revenue, and reporting.

    However, our Donor Services dept would really appreciate access to be able to change who the primary fund advisor is, update pictures and fund summaries for the Giving Hub, and other settings related to the Giving Hub. Right now, our Finance dept is needing to help every…

  3. Currently a Fund's unique donation link can only be found by navigating to the Giving Hub and searching for that Fund, then copying the link from the search bar. That link should be available directly in the Fund profile.

  4. It would be extremely helpful if we could import updates & new items for funds, especially related to our Giving Hub portal. These would include descriptions and images. Manually adding these fields, one by one, is time-consuming, and we’d like to make our Giving Hub experience as rich as possible for our donors. Can an import feature be added for funds?

  5. We used to use the Funds search bar to only search open funds. When we wanted to search all funds, including closed funds, we used the main search bar in the top left of the main screen.

    Having open and closed funds in the main Funds search bar takes so much more time and is a hassle to have to sift through more similar fund names. We were required to set up test funds when we started with Foundant that we were not allowed to delete out. Now these test funds continue to show up on the Funds bar when…

  7. Our Communications team would like to be able to add photos and fund descriptions but we are very hesitant to give them full fund edit permission. Can you provide a new "Fund Design" permission so that this can be accomplished?

  8. We would love to be able to add a fund's anniversary (this could be at the fund advisor level?) with a letter template option to send a "Thank your for partnering with us" letter on the anniversary date.

  9. Provide the functionality to be able to either copy a grant approver to another grant approver, mirroring the funds they can approve, or allow for bulk adding of funds to a grant approver based on fund group.

  11. For quick reference it would be nice to see all grants made by a fund on their profile page, similar to a donations on the donors page. Please consider adding a tab to see grant history.

    From the left side menu of the Fund, their is a history option.  From that screen, you can select the Grant amount and get a historical list of all the grants.  There is also an option in reports to display all grants.  Select reports, grants, then the relative date of all.

  12. I recently created a new fund and in my haste, breezed past "Endowed" because the fund was not endowed. However, it will be so we needed to track principal. Clearly my oversight but I'd like to suggest changing "Endowed" to "Track Principal Balance". This would follow the "Track Spendable" format and clarify the purpose of the term "Endowed".

  13. Taking this archived idea back up: It would be great if the fund history page showed the fund balance as of a specific date. This is a great page for our advancement team and with the addition of the balance, everything they want to have at hand when talking with a donor about their fund would be on the same page.

  15. Greater Milwaukee would like a feature to create a new donation and new grant with Fund ID number in addition to Fund Name. We have many funds with the same exact name with no way to differentiate. This could mean money is donated to or granted out of the wrong fund.

  17. When setting up a new fund we copy from an existing fund. It makes the process more streamlined. However, the staff then have to go to the templates and add the fund to all the different templates. This is an easy step to miss and we have quite a few templates we use on a fund. This would improve the workflow of setting up new funds and reduce errors.

  18. We would like the fund log to keep record of all changes made to a fund. In particular changes/removals made under the Relationship tab of a fund is useful information for our staff.

  19. The log previously provided more detail on what was actually changed. Now in some areas, it's just showing the CSuite reference ID for the field that was changed. This is extremely confusing to follow. For example, I just changed the subgroup on a fund, and instead of it saying the name of the subgroup, it only has the ID which I would have to research to interpret the log. Previously, as recently as January 2023, when the fund’s subgroup was changed, it included the ID number as well as the name of the subgroup. This change makes it very difficult…

  20. Some of our funds have fund names that do not indicate the donor name. In the sort key we reference the donor name. However, the sort key is not a searchable reference. We can't leverage the short name because we use our legacy fund ids there and want to continue that system. We would like the sort key to be a searchable term so if we were searching it pulls up the fund wherever we would put a fund name/id.
