Merge Funds
It would be helpful if we could merge funds together and maintain the history of both.

This would be so nice! We have recently collapsed 20 funds into 4 new funds within an organization, and all the history was lost. Also, by doing the movement via internal grants and gifts, the true power of the endowment is inflated because an internal grant inflates the gifts and grants on the aggregate level of the grouped funds. It would be so nice if there were a way to transfer principal and investment performance when collapsing funds!

This is extremely important so that the history of both funds can be located easily.

I literally just came here to suggest this! This happens from time to time, and we have to put alerts on the new fund to check the old fund for history, etc. It's clunky and I always worry that the historical information will not be reported correctly to fund reps, especially if the old fund is closed.
