  3. Financial report fund filters

    Provide the option to filters to include subfunds if the master fund is not included. At a minimum, provide a warning that the filter is incorrect if a user chose to filter on a subfund and does not include the master fund.

    The Financial reports (Balance sheet and income statement) have been changed so the user can no longer filter on specific funds if the fund is tied to a master fund. When creating a filter, it is impossible to tell if a fund has a master fund.

    There is a potential for reports to be run providing incorrect data…

  4. annualized budget percentage on income statement

    On the Income Statement budget format, the variance amount and percentage only shows the variance stated in proportion to the current month. My board and I would prefer to see this amount as a percentage of the annualized rather than month to month budget. Can you please add an option for this such as a "budget ann" or "budget ytd"? Selecting the option "this year" will give me the annualized amounts, but there is no way to change the effective date and retain that format as it reverts back to the month over month.

  5. Export to “Microsoft Word Document” instead of “Microsoft Word 97 – 2003 Document”

    "Microsoft Word 97 - 2003" file format is not compatible with Microsoft SharePoint. In this file format, you can’t use the “autosave” function, and multiple people are not able to collaborate in the document concurrently. Updating format to "Microsoft Word Document" will likely improve user workflows.

    (Same with Word and Excel files in GLM/SLM. Will post idea there too)

  6. Column View for ALL financial reports

    It would be very beneficial if there were column views on ALL of the financial reports. There are column views on the balance sheet and income statement.... but can it please be integrated in the trial balance and detail trial reports? There are certain reports we ran and need from FIMS that we could get exactly what we wanted if we had this option.

    The reports we are pulling now in place of it have way too much information on there that is not needed. If I can pull a detail trial with certain accounts selected then have a column…

  7. Balance Sheet - Display by Month

    The balance sheet does not have an option to display by Month whereas the income statement does. There is a Month over Month option that does not provide all the months in sequence for the Balance Sheet. Please update the same option for the Balance Sheet.

  8. Collapse account & fund filters on filtered/saved financial reports

    It would be nice to be able to collapse filters on the financial reports. Instead of listing all of the accounts or funds could there be a way to collapse those filters? We need to print this, and if the filters could be collapsed or not show on every first page when you print it from CSuite.... that would be helpful. I don't think the filters need repeated on every page... only the title of the reports.

  9. Income Statements

    It would be very helpful if on the "Edit Option" tab in the left-side menu, it included an option to have two columns - one for last month and one for YTD on current fiscal year. That way, you are able to view last month's totals compared to the fiscal year YTD values.

  10. Creating a Custom Expense Report

    For various events our organization holds we must provide an expense breakdown which we can export from CSuite but it includes unnecessary information that we must remove. Having the ability to create custom expense reports based upon specific accounts and/or campaigns we select would save time and allow the focus to remain on only pertinent data.

  11. Statement of Activities Functional Expense Filter

    Add filter option for functional expenses on the statement of activities report. We budget for the functional expense accounts separately and it would be great to have the option to run a budget to actual report for just one functional expense grouping.

  12. Financial Statements & Interfund Activity

    Have the ability to separate interfund activity into a separate column or grouping on the financial statements. The interfund activity artificially inflates the gift, grants, payable and receivable totals and must be backed out for audit purposes

  13. Prior year and current month column format for balance sheet

    This was implemented according to C-Suite but I do not see that column format - there is year year which compares 08.31.22 to 08.31.2021, but I would like 08.31.22 and 12.31.2021. Am I missing something?

  14. API for Financial Reporting

    It would be valuable for our fund holders/their advisors to be able to pull their fund data into their external financial system/software. I know we have a financial advisor in our sphere who would be much more eager to refer clients to us if he were able to include our fund data on his financial reports for those clients. I think this could be accomplished using an API that could be created via the financial reports (Custom reporting doesn't quite fill the need as it only pulls current balance and has no option to include prior month/quarter/etc.).

  15. financial statement settings

    There should be a Financial Statement setting option to round to whole dollars. It is standard to print financial statements for presentation rounded to the nearest dollar. This was a simple setting in the Financial Edge system we used before converting which was at several years old.
    There should also be more flexibility in the columns chosen for the financial statements. As an example there is no option to have a month and ytd comparison with the current year and the prior year on a single page. This was a standard report in our previous system and at every place…
