  1. Thank you for creating the Foundant for Outlook add-in with the "add note to CSuite" feature! I would love to see the "add note" function expand to include profile Opportunities. We encourage our staff to use the opportunities area to document many types of communications, so it would be great for us to have the option to use the Outlook add-in to create a note within an existing profile opportunity when an email is sent or received (maybe this could be an option nested under the existing profile search?).

  2. When note text is output in reports it loses all carriage returns. This makes it rather difficult at times to read notes that have been laid out in a specific manner.

  3. We would love the ability to bulk update tasks. I am looking at a report with unique IDs and 150 tasks to manually reassign to a current staff person.

    I see this idea was proposed previously and archived, so I'm posting fresh to hopefully gain some new interest in this idea. Thanks!

  4. Foundant for Outlook is a great App but it doesn't allow for specifying a Note Type which is important for our internal reporting. Please add the option to specify the Note Type when using Foundant for Outlook.

  6. Show completed tasks in Profiles - resurfaced from 2021 archived idea submitted...

    It would be VERY helpful to see completed tasks associated with a profile.

    Regular communication with donors and fundholders do not always fall into an opportunity so having a record of communication in the profile is very important. We need to be able to look at a donor profile and see that they have or have not received calls or emails or other actions.

    I should also be able to see all activity for that profile in one place, whether it's a note, a task or a transaction.…

  7. It would be great to create custom fields on notes. This way we can add additional tracking and reporting to those notes rather than creating a long list of types or ensuring that people put specific words in their notes. For example, tracking if a specific meeting matched certain criteria that was tied to metrics.

  10. We'd like to have the ability to mark a couple of note types as sticky ones. This would allow the finance related notes such as those concerning fund agreements or investments pinned at the top for better visibility.
    Currently, many fundraisers are adding notes from the profiles selecting the fund name. As a result, finance notes are getting pushes down, making harder for the team to locate critical information quickly.

  11. As we are beginning to utilize Tasks, our lists in each bucket are beginning to grow. It would be awesome to be able to search for specific tasks in any bucket by a keyword to make finding them alot easier.

  12. Please bring over the date of the email when the Foundant add-in is used to copy an email to a note in CSuite from Outlook. Currently the note date is the date the email is copied (even if that is not the day the email was sent/received), and the original email send date is not recorded anywhere in the body of the CSuite note.

  13. With thanks to @Jessika Ellis: We really need this

    Could a custom report for Opportunity ALSO include available fields for Opp Task Names, associated Descriptions and Notes text, as well as fields for the Profile associated with the Opportunity?

    Currently, there are 3 potential Custom Reports (Task, Note, Opportunity) we can use to pull out almost all of this information, but the Available Fields vary dramatically within each of these, and none give a full Opportunity view or export.

  15. There have been 2 ideas archived on this, but it would be so great if we could see the profile name in the task list not just the id#.

    Also, you should be able to tie a task to a profile from the main tasks.

    This is really needed for optimal donor stewardship.

  17. This is reopening and combining a few previous ideas. We have tons of note and task types, please give us the ability for separate types. It would be so helpful if we could streamline them by changing them from one type to another as can currently be done with profile types. Thank you for reconsidering this option.

  18. The new Add Note to CSuite add-in is much appreciated but would be even better if you could also use it for composing an email and view existing notes & profile details. When we were demoing a competitor's platform before signing up with Foundant, they had an integration that would have a pop up showing the profile picture, details, and notes for the recipient with a live link to the profile in the platform. Would love to see something similar developed for Foundant.

  19. Hello! Just started using tasks, and enjoying it. Would like a weekly task option, so it's easier to see what is to occur within the week. Filter option would be good too on the dashboard.

  20. A HUGE time saver would be the ability to attach one file to multiple journal entries at once. Currently, if the same documentation needs to be attached to multiple entries, you have to do it one at a time. A button on the main journal entry screen for a "bulk attach file" would be greatly beneficial. Say you could upload the file and then select all the entries it needs to be attached to. This pain point comes up all the time with multi-fund entries for payroll and other various monthly/quarterly closing tasks.
