  1. Thank you for creating the Foundant for Outlook add-in with the "add note to CSuite" feature! I would love to see the "add note" function expand to include profile Opportunities. We encourage our staff to use the opportunities area to document many types of communications, so it would be great for us to have the option to use the Outlook add-in to create a note within an existing profile opportunity when an email is sent or received (maybe this could be an option nested under the existing profile search?).

  2. Allow for a staff person to indicate a different staff person in a 'Who' field when entering a note instead of auto populating this field with the person who is logged in.

  3. It would be great to create custom fields on notes. This way we can add additional tracking and reporting to those notes rather than creating a long list of types or ensuring that people put specific words in their notes. For example, tracking if a specific meeting matched certain criteria that was tied to metrics.

  4. Please bring over the date of the email when the Foundant add-in is used to copy an email to a note in CSuite from Outlook. Currently the note date is the date the email is copied (even if that is not the day the email was sent/received), and the original email send date is not recorded anywhere in the body of the CSuite note.

  5. Ability to attach a PDF of an email (or any document) to Notes. Then full context to note is readily available to all users. If this were implemented, a note is created with coding etc. , add a one line summary followed by "see attached"

  7. The new Add Note to CSuite add-in is much appreciated but would be even better if you could also use it for composing an email and view existing notes & profile details. When we were demoing a competitor's platform before signing up with Foundant, they had an integration that would have a pop up showing the profile picture, details, and notes for the recipient with a live link to the profile in the platform. Would love to see something similar developed for Foundant.

  8. There have been 2 ideas archived on this, but it would be so great if we could see the profile name in the task list not just the id#.

    Also, you should be able to tie a task to a profile from the main tasks.

    This is really needed for optimal donor stewardship.

  9. When I complete a recurring task, it would be a nice to have the option to add a note. Currently, when clicking complete on a recurring task, the task disappears, and the next recurrence is added to the profile. For other tasks without a recurrence, there is an option to add a note. Please add this flexibility. Thank you!

  10. We would like to see the body of the note have a "collapse" feature - so that long notes do not make it difficult to scan all notes in that profile. If you allowed for the first 50-100 characters to show, then had a collapse feature (such as a "more" button or an "expand/collapse" button) then the entire string of notes would be a uniform size with enough "preview" visible to understand the gist of the note and its content.

  11. Add ability to add a note to a Group record under System Configuration. As a system admin, I am currently keeping a separate record of notes for each of the user groups I create. Different teams, and members on those teams, have different access requirements so I am documenting the purpose of each targeted Group. It would be more convenient to have these notes included on the Group record but there is currently not a button to add a note to that type of record.

  12. Capacity to share notes between profiles would be awesome.

    Example 1: Fundraising visit with a particular business. Visit notes could go on the business profile, but the note could "tag" additional profiles, such as the business staff members present at the meeting.

    Example 2: We utilize notes to capture obituary information. Family members could be "tagged" on the note in order to share the information across profile records, rather than repeating the obit note several times. One entry, several tags = awesome!

  15. Would really like to have the ability to include meeting invite information in a task when it is sent ouf of CommunitySuite. Ideally, would have another field on the task, in addition to description, where they could enter Zoom meeting credentials, a room, etc.

  17. Would really like the ability to invite external people, such as financial advisors when they are sending out tasks from CommunitySuite. Ideally, they would be able to select profiles from within CSuite to add to tasks, which would send the invite to the staff people and the external person's calendar.

  19. A simple idea that would help us a lot is to have checkboxes for alerts of important dates such as birthdays, anniversaries, etc when creating profiles. A step better would be receiving an email with this alert . Would be much easier than setting a task for each date for every profile .

    You could create a report with a relative date filter that is sent to your email. That might help with this request!
