  1. Currently we are unable to customize fields at the top of the portal (fund balance, spendable balance, cash available, etc). It would be nice to be able to customize these fields to reflect language that our donors are acquainted with. Please allow for the customization of these fields in the portal.

  2. Rather than just letting anyone with a primary email in the system be able to log in to the portal, it would be nice if that was more of a request to login. The user could enter their email to login, but then the system sends an email to an admin at our organization to approve the login and grant access. This would allow us to confirm the profile associated with that email will provide them (and their household/individual/org profiles) the appropriate access.

  3. Reviewing the portal updates. I had noticed on the left hand side the 5 options, Fund Summary, Gifts etc. Is it possible the visibility of the options could be improved? Making the colour darker or more prominent? To ensure everyone can easily see them. Thank you.

  5. In the Legacy Fund Manager, we could "Send login email" To a new Fund Advisor. In the New Portal, the only option to set up a new Fund Advisor is to send them to the login link, and have them click on "Forgot Password" and go through that process to access their system. Please create a new "Send Login Email" in the Portal for easier set up access to our Fund Advisors.

    • Fund Advisors: A new content block has been added to support bulk processing of Fund Advisor logins and resend login emails. This content area is located under Fund Advisor Content <Advisor Invite Email. When populated, CSuite will use the Advisor Invite Email content instead of the standard Advisor Login Email, allowing for more flexible and customized communications. The new content supports a rich text editor, enabling formatted content, links, and other enhancements. This email will apply bulk login sends and the Send Login action for individual Fund Advisors.

  6. For donors with access to affiliate funds, we have a way to apply different styling to the login page that they access through a specific URL. We’re also able to apply the same affiliate styling to the funds that they access in the portal. What we don’t currently have is a way to apply affiliate styling to their fund selection page in the portal. If a donor has access to more than 1 affiliate fund, the fund selection page only shows the main Portal Style.

If the portal fund selection list only consists of affiliate funds for a donor, can…

Styles: Updated the Supporting Org styling to apply to the fund listing page when a fund advisor is logged in as a sponsored org/affiliate. The Supporting Org styling will also apply to a fund advisor with funds that are all associated with a sponsored org's style.

  7. When you are logged into the new portal and looking at your profile information, when you choose “Security” or “Interest Types” or “Contact Preferences,” you are shown a second two logout button.

Is there a reason that is needed? If not, can you remove it and just have the one in the main navigation?

  8. EVERY profile with an email address in CSuite is able to access (via a PIN) or to be seen in the new Portal by someone else with the same email address, regardless of whether they have a Designation that you are allowing access. This is causing a variety of issues and we very strongly think the Portal needs to be re-programmed to remove this access for any email address.

Here are some specific examples of issues arising from this new design:

    • One of our users has a Household profile from a personal donation which uses her work email address. That…

3/12/2025:Login: We have implemented an update to the portal login process to enhance security and provide more controlled access based on profile designations. This change significantly improves security by limiting who can log in with an email and controlling which profiles are visible to the user. The enhanced login flow helps ensure that users only access profiles relevant to their designated roles. The email login method is now limited to profiles that have a designation enabled for portal access. If the email entered is not associated with any profile, no pin will be sent to the user. If the primary email on the profile does not have a designation enabled for the portal, they profile will be taken to the profile page. If the email is valid, but does not match the expected criteria, the user will be directed to the “Enter your PIN” page. The messaging will clarify that…

  9. In the new portal, the permissions are such that ANY advisor listed on a fund can edit a recurring grant, even if those advisors dont have any edit permissions on the fund. In the old portal you needed GrantReq permission to edit, but that is not the case for recurring grants in the new portal. Please consider not allowing anyone with any fund access to edit recurring grants, and instead, restrict access to those who create the request or others as assigned specifically.

  10. Prior to the new portal launch, fund advisors could export data from the "My Donations" tab, including advisor details for gifts. However, the advisor field was removed from the export, requiring fund advisors to manually click into each donation to access the full data or a staff member sending a custom report monthly.

To improve efficiency and streamline the process, I propose adding the advisor information back to the export. This update would reduce manual effort, enhance data accessibility, and align with previous functionality.

    • (02-15-2025) Portal-Portal Options-Portal Settings-Donor: Added new settings for the Donor page in the portal to display household and/or advised donations. With the Show Household Donations, a donor can view their individual donations and the household's donations. They will not be able to see any other household member's individual's donations. With the Show Show Advised Donations, a donor can view their individual advised donations.
    • Portal-Donors: Added Household and Advised columns to the donation listing. This will allow donors to see if a donation is an advised donation or a household donation if the setting is enabled in Portal Settings-Donor: Show Household and Show Advised Donations. These columns were also added to the export.

  11. In looking at the new portal in the sandbox, donations are not listed in chronological order, which is very confusing. If a donor has made a stripe donation and paid the credit card fee, the fee is not listed directly before or after the donation. Please fix this so that the credit card donation and fee are listed together.

2/10/2025:Portal-All Designations: Ability to reorder columns on tables. If columns are reordered, the selection will save for the next login. This will be for all tables with a listing in donor, grantee, student, vendor, customer, fund advisor. This will not be included on Summary tables. This will also apply to entries per page and the pagination at the bottom of the listing.

  12. When It would be helpful for the cursor to populate in the pin field on the two factor authentication pin page. When entering a code, the page would be ready to receive with out clicking into the field. This would be similar to the cursor appearance in CSuite when clicking Home or Profiles, ready to begin searching.

  13. Grant approvers - When assigning grant approvers, consider a system that ensures fund representatives or primary fund advisors do not approve their own grant requests. There should be a way to mark requests that require approval. For example, if parents designate their children as fund representatives, the children can request grants, but the parents must approve them. However, parents should not be required to approve their own grant requests.

3/11/2025: Portal-Fund Advisor- Added donation comment to the donation export, if Show Donation Comment is enabled. Updated Grant Request to display address and primary contact for organizations. Added file attachments to display for primary approver and resolved an issue with the file not displaying on the grant. Removed the approval for the primary approver to need to approve their own grant request. Updated the Fund Steward name field to pull from the mailing label or the name to be consistent with legacy portal.

  14. We are enabling the new portal for Fund Advisor only for now. However, the portal does not LIMIT access to the portal to just Fund Advisor.

The portal currently allows anyone with an email address associated with a profile in our system to use the primary email and a pin to get into the portal and manage their contact information.

Is there a way to detect if the email entered is in our system and does NOT have a designation associated with an area we have enabled on the portal and then display a message that can be customized by…

  15. On the main Events tab where all campaigns are listed, make the "TICKETS" button customizable so you can change it for each event, similar to how we can change the "add to cart label". For example, instead of tickets, have the ability to change it to say "Register".

  16. When we process annual distributions, it is a compilation of recurring grants and beneficiaries. While recurring grants can have a grant advisor assigned to it in perpetuity, a beneficiary cannot.

We want a beneficiary to be able to have a grant advisor drop down just as recurring grants do. This will allow us to honor our fundholder's intentions to share their information with grantees and not cause us to have to individually mark and update each beneficiary grant each year, which creates so many opportunities for mistakes.

We were initially recommended to use a grant alert on the fund that…

    3/31/2025:Idea Lab Live:

Funds: Added the Grant Advisor field to Grant Beneficiary table on fund. This will allow users to select from a list of fund advisors for the fund to complete the grant advisor field on spendable grants upon creation. This field will be a limited list of fund advisors on the fund.

Grants: Updated spendable grants to allow for the grant advisors to be populated from the fund record in the Fund Beneficiary table. When creating spendable grants, the field will populate on the table for users to review before processing the grants. Users will be able to remove and then edit the grant advisor from the grant new bucket.

Fund Advisors: Updated internal grants to send donation notifications to the fund advisor, if the Donation Notify checkbox is enabled for the fund advisor. Prior to this release internal donation did not send notifications to the fund advisors.…

  17. Search Function in the CSuite Donor Module: I placed this under "Other" as there was no specific category related to the Donors section of the product.

When inside the Donor Module of CSuite, it would be nice to have a Search option in the left side menu like in the Profiles Module. After you initially search for a donor and click their name, you are taken to the donation record/summary. The only way to search for another donor is to either click the Donor button in the top menu, or go Home and choose Donors under the Profile Designations menu.…

  18. We opened the new portal to our Board for evaluation, and we received a complaint that there was no timeout for the portal. The user had left their PC after logging in and found it was still connected to the portal a couple hours later. A timeout is a standard feature for financial websites. We benchmark against Fidelity, for example, and they have this feature.

  19. We'd love the ability to move the search for a fund bar to the bottom of the page. This isn't where we want donors to focus and having it at the top isn't ideal!
