  1. It would be really nice to add back the feature to hide the funded amount for each grant and the beginning of a grant catalogue. None of the grants are funded yet so it looks like there is no support for the programs that are requesting support we used to have this feature where you could hide funded and it would not show the funded amount for each Grant request but it instead would show the requested amount only for each grant request, I’m not sure why they took away this feature, but it is very helpful because it allows…

    We have completely reimagined the Grant Catalog with comprehensive updates designed to support Give Day campaigns and provide greater flexibility in grant management.

    Detail Tab Enhancements:

    Fund Integration: Added Fund field to Grant Catalog, enabling setup of dedicated catalog funds for streamlined grant organization.

    Grant Type Categories: Redesigned functionality to use Grant Types as categories, allowing categories to display at the top of grant catalogs populated from Grantee or Fund records.

When you submit a support request ticket, you receive an email reply with the ticket number, but it would be very helpful if a copy of the request or a brief description of the request was included in this email. If you have submitted more than one support ticket, it is hard to tell what number goes to what request.

    I just spoke with the Support team and they are going look into adding instructions to login and checking tickets.   4. Once created, allow an opportunity to be copied. Sometimes the same person documents a bequest expectancy to several beneficiaries. This functionality lives elsewhere in the system and would apply nicely to entering opportunities.

    Opportunities: Added the ability to Copy an Opportunity. Copy functionality will copy Stage, Type, Target Date, Solicited Amount, Fund, Letter Template, Connected Profiles, Professional Advisors, Beneficiary Profile, Primary Assignee, Secondary Assignees. Once a user has selected Copy, a new opportunity will be created and the user will be taken to the newly created opportunity. Things to Note: Copy will not copy Committed amounts, since that number can be tied to pledges, donations, and promises.

  5. Notification for any updates to the profile area of the Portal. This would send an email to the logged in profile notifying them of a change of password, address, banking information, etc.

    7/15/2025: Portal - Profile: Updated the system to send a confirmation email to the profile's primary email on file with what profile fields are updated. The email includes details of the specific fields that were changed. This is a new email for the person logging into the portal, not the notification email that sends to the user.

  7. Right now, in the portal, any profile that has the student designation, is not searchable as a grantee. We have orgs in our system that receive scholarship funds for summer camps, so they are a student, but also receive grants from our fund advisors. Please change this limitation to only apply to individual/household profiles and NOT organization profiles. We now have to create duplicate profiles for MANY of our profiles so that our fund advisors can submit grants through the portal. Thank you!

    7/15/2025:Portal: Updated the left hand navigation to highlight the page that is displaying.

    Portal-Grantee: Updated Grantees to only display scholarships or grants, if they have received that type of payment. Added Export to the Grantee and Scholarship tabs. Updated the Grant Record to allow export of donor information. This will allow grantees the ability to create thank you notes from the grants they have received.

    Portal-Fund Advisors: Updated the Contribution tab to display the Donor Advisor.

    Portal-Profile: Updated the system to send a confirmation email to the user's email on file whenever profile fields are updated. The email includes details of the specific fields that were changed.

  10. We implemented a Grant Catalog synced from GLM for the first time so that our DAF holders could recommend grants to our competitive grant cycle directly from their portals. This has been a nice functionality, but now we're having issues pulling reports for the Fund holders because all their grantees show as "Grant Catalog Fund." Although they can see the purpose of the grants, our Donor Services Director would like to be able to sort all grants from any given DAF by the grantee organizations' names.   11. We'd like to be able to add the organization name field to the header on the financial statements. We have several affiliate/supporting organizations that we run financials for so we don't want to the foundation's name as the default. Rather, we'd like to add a field to the header to allow for the name of each organization to automatically populate when we run financial statements.

  12. I would like to propose a change of the drop-down "ACTION" choices. Instead of the current default "replace with validated address" have the "Do nothing" as the default. This is helpful and will save time because profiles may have old addresses that we dont need to touch. Choosing the "do nothing" as the default will allow us to only click what is needed. Also, change the caps to lower, as someone else suggested, please. Thank you

When building a Campaign, when you choose to have an additional donations as an option, it changes the checkout process and requires the registrant's address even if they do not choose to to donate. This has caused confusion for some registrants with the extra steps as many of our events are free but have additional donation as an option.
    It would be much more ideal for the additional donation and the registrant info field to be on the same page, then have them enter more complete info if they need to enter payment info.

    1. Unified Ticket Workflow:
    • Instead of individual ticket fields, everything is now located on one registration page. On the events tickets constituent will have the ability to select a quantity for each ticket type, and add an additional donation, if enabled. There will be a new order summary box on the right hand side, so that the registrant can easily track their purchases or cancel a line. The checkout workflow will remain the same. Individual tickets have been impacted with this change some of the individual ticket fields have been moved to the Campaign's Details Tab.

  14. I’d like to customize my campaign event information and increase the font size of the date/time/location. The default text size is unreadable for older folks, I've been told. However, when you do this using html, the coding shows up on the ticket receipt. This looks very silly to have donor-facing. Also, there is no way to increase the size of text in the date field, as this is a numbers only field.

  15. For an upcoming event we have sent out numerous invoices for agencies that are paying to have a vendor table. Many of the vendors want to pay by credit card and with some of the uncertainty of the mail, many do not want to mail a check. We need either a portal that we can provide a link so they can pay their invoice online, or if a payment link could be put on the invoice/email that would be even better.

  17. Affiliate portal users, who can recommend a grant from one of multiple funds under the Affiliate, are unable to search for grantees in the new portal like they could in the legacy portal. They can manually enter a grantee or select from a previous grantee and then select the funding source.

    If the user has the grant request permission on behalf of the affiliate, they should be able to search for a grantee and then select the funding source. Searching now generates an error to contact Foundant support (we'd also prefer users aren't directed to contact support).

  18. Currently we are unable to customize fields at the top of the portal (fund balance, spendable balance, cash available, etc). It would be nice to be able to customize these fields to reflect language that our donors are acquainted with. Please allow for the customization of these fields in the portal.

  19. Rather than just letting anyone with a primary email in the system be able to log in to the portal, it would be nice if that was more of a request to login. The user could enter their email to login, but then the system sends an email to an admin at our organization to approve the login and grant access. This would allow us to confirm the profile associated with that email will provide them (and their household/individual/org profiles) the appropriate access.

  20. Currently a Fund's unique donation link can only be found by navigating to the Giving Hub and searching for that Fund, then copying the link from the search bar. That link should be available directly in the Fund profile.
