  1. We would love the option of toggling donations and grants notifications BY THE FUND for fund advisors. We add designated funds for our designated fund recipients so they can see previous year's grants, BUT we don't want them to receive the grants notification email when the grant is made, since some funds benefit more than one organization.

  2. Currently, when a fund advisor submits a grant request that is fulfilled via an internal grant (a transfer to another fund within the same foundation), the Grant Notify email is not triggered upon posting the internal transfer check.

This creates an inconsistency in the donor experience:

Fund advisors receive Donation Notify emails when their fund receives an internal grant

But they do not receive Grant Notify emails when their fund gives an internal grant

This lack of communication may cause confusion for fund advisors, especially if they are used to receiving confirmations for external grants.

    Request:
    Please enable the Grant…

  3. Currently fund advisors can edit the date and number of cycles of recurring grants through the portal, but not the amount, which is the most common change fund advisors make to recurring grants. Thus the amount should be made editable.

  4. Currently, Manual Fund Statements can be created to include days that are outside of the closed period -- This has caused issues for Fund Advisors when they (through the portal) create a manual fund statement. They are including periods that the foundation has not closed, and it is leading to confusion.

    Ask:
Can there be a warning associated with the Manual Fund Statements to alert a Fund Advisor that the time period they've selected is not within a closed period and therefore the information may not be accurate?

    Thank you, Team!

  5. Fund Advisors of scholarship Funds do not receive email notifications when scholarships are paid, even though scholarships are paid as grants within CSuite. Please make Grant Payment Notifications apply to scholarships. I'm fielding lots of questions from anxious FA's about whether or not checks have been sent out.

  6. Add a 2nd screen after choosing 'Fund Advisors> Settings> List Cart> Send Email Reminder to allow for choosing which fund advisors to send the email reminder to. Currently, this is an all or nothing feature.

  7. Our fund advisors would really like to see support fees (aka admin fees) on the Fund Summary page. Currently the only way we can report the fees assessed to their fund on a quarterly basis is by producing a statement of activity. Including this information on Fund Summary would provide a clearer picture of activity in their fund. Thanks!

  8. I posted on this topic back in October and recently the Foundant folks said it was implemented in the new version of the portal. But the way it was implemented doesn't really fit with what our fund advisors are looking for, so I'm giving it another shot! We've tested the "Show Donor Portal Investments" option in our sandbox and it does not provide the activity we want to share, or that our fundholders are interested in. They're looking for net investment activity for the most recent month available.
Our big wish is to display net investment activity from the most…

  9. Currently there are very few options for tracking fund advisor activity via the log. The provided columns, after filtering for fund advisor in the profile "Login Log" on sidebar, indicate very generic info such as Timestamp, IP address, 2-factor authentication, logout or locked out notification, error message (such as invalid password), if a team member signed in as a proxy to view a fund(s) in the portal, and location.

From a marketing perspective, we would be interested in knowing not only who and when, but other potential "clicks" or "views" such as for resources/documents (ie: fund statements or other shared…

  10. Sometimes nonprofits don't cash their checks for grants and after months we need to void and reissue a check for the grant. The problem is that the system sends a grant paid email to fund advisors who have grant notify on. This causes a lot of confusion because fund advisors are notified that a grant is paid and think it is a mistake, they don't attribute it to the original grant they made because it could have been months ago. They also don't except to see multiple emails of a grant payment for one grant. Can there be a way…

  11. We work with organizations with high administrator turn over. When replacing a new administrator, they need to be set up as a Fund Advisor and then we have to manually add each individual fund. This is cumbersome.

Under "add funds" function, can you add a "Fund Advisor Like...." option that would allow multiple funds to be added at once. For example, Mr. Smith leaves an organization, can Mr. Brown be set up as a Fund advisor, click Add Fund, and Set up funds "like": [enter Profile name] Mr. Smith in this case.

  12. The donor portal graphs for fund advisors currently default to depict the prior 12 months of activity. Our donors find little utility in this view as they are most focused on the activity which aligns with the calendar/tax year perspective. Can there be an option available on the portal for a Foundation to set this as the default view rather than ask the donor to make this switch each time they log in? Further, can there be an option for the Foundation to select to have the default for the graphs to depict the current calendar year vs the prior…

  13. In the content settings for fund advisor emails, the only field we've ever had to use for an employee name is {{employee_name}}. That formats the name as last name, first name. We'd like it to show as first name last name, like John Doe instead of Doe, John. The only way we've been able to accomplish that is by changing employees in the system to a first name of John Doe with no last name. That works, but it's cumbersome to have some of our employees listed this way.

Can we get a field added to the content that would…

  14. We really like the ability to email our advisors who have left a grant request in their cart. Right now, the only option in the settings is to send these email reminders nightly. It would be great if there were other scheduling options, like weekly. From our perspective, emails sent each day may be somewhat irritating. It would be great if there were an option to send them less frequently, like weekly, or based on a certain number of days. We intend to send them weekly, but, at present, it will need to be done manually.

  15. I have some fund advisors who want to receive the notifications that go out regarding grant requests from a single fund, but they would love not to get multiple separate emails from the system for example.  In the most recent case, the fund advisor had made 32 separate grant requests. It would be great if by fund, we could have options for how this information is received by the fund advisor. Consolidated by week or Per Grant Request.

  16. We would love to to be able to manually remove grants from fund advisor carts after several communication attempts. It looks like the only way to do this is by logging in as the fund advisor and removing it from their portal, which raises security concerns. We would like an option to be able to remove these grants on behalf of the fund advisor from the back-end of the system.

  17. Please add Primary Fund Advisor field to the Profile Fund custom report. Currently there is no way to see which funds do not have a primary advisor or have out-of-date primary advisors, without opening each individual Fund record. It's making system setup and maintenance unmanageable.

    Thank you! - TCF

  18. Fund Advisor donation notifications currently don't include tribute information, if the donation has been made in honour/memory of someone. It would be helpful if that was a field that could be added to donation notifications, as it's very important to some of our fund advisors to keep track of this for their own fundraising purposes.

  19. It is no longer possible to see complete giving history to a fund for Advised contributions to that fund or information about the donor-advisor.
Example: The Bob & Carol Fund at OCCF advised a grant out of their DAF to ABC Nonprofit's endowment fund at OCCF once a year for six years. ABC's fund portal shows the endowment contribution, but drilling into the contribution does not display that donor's impressive six year history of endowment gifts or their address, instead it displays every interfund gift from OCCF to that endowment fund. ABC Nonprofit is now missing critical information that might…

  20. Please allow the default subject line of the Fund Advisor Invite Email to be customized so that it better suits the needs of each organization. As it stands, every time I send the email, I have to edit the subject line to that it makes sense and matched the verbiage we use with our donors and fundholders.
