  1. It would be great to create custom fields on notes. This way we can add additional tracking and reporting to those notes rather than creating a long list of types or ensuring that people put specific words in their notes. For example, tracking if a specific meeting matched certain criteria that was tied to metrics.

  2. When I complete a recurring task, it would be a nice to have the option to add a note. Currently, when clicking complete on a recurring task, the task disappears, and the next recurrence is added to the profile. For other tasks without a recurrence, there is an option to add a note. Please add this flexibility. Thank you!

  3. Capacity to share notes between profiles would be awesome.

    Example 1: Fundraising visit with a particular business. Visit notes could go on the business profile, but the note could "tag" additional profiles, such as the business staff members present at the meeting.

    Example 2: We utilize notes to capture obituary information. Family members could be "tagged" on the note in order to share the information across profile records, rather than repeating the obit note several times. One entry, several tags = awesome!

  4. Would really like the ability to invite external people, such as financial advisors when they are sending out tasks from CommunitySuite. Ideally, they would be able to select profiles from within CSuite to add to tasks, which would send the invite to the staff people and the external person's calendar.

  5. Would really like to have the ability to include meeting invite information in a task when it is sent ouf of CommunitySuite. Ideally, would have another field on the task, in addition to description, where they could enter Zoom meeting credentials, a room, etc.

  7. Add ability to add a note to a Group record under System Configuration. As a system admin, I am currently keeping a separate record of notes for each of the user groups I create. Different teams, and members on those teams, have different access requirements so I am documenting the purpose of each targeted Group. It would be more convenient to have these notes included on the Group record but there is currently not a button to add a note to that type of record.

  8. When building a custom task report, would like "task id" to be an active link so that tasks could be easily opened and updated from the report. This is currently available for "note id" in a custom note report, but not "task id" in a custom task report.

  10. To better organize profile notes, a good idea to consider is to organize the notes on a profile by category as we did with the attached files update. A lot of times we go back to notes for the name things such as Grants, Profile Updates, Donations, etc.. Categorizing notes can definitely help us be more efficient and find what we are looking for in a faster more organized way.

  12. Want to be able to add more than one type to a note. Sometimes the note involves two activities, we currently create two notes. One note with multiple types attached would be better. Thank you!

  13. We just got the ability to add an Alert Area for checks for profile notes which is great! However, we'd like to also have the ability to add the Check Alert Area for notes on funds, meaning when a check is paying a voucher from a specific fund, the alerts pop up for those too.

  15. Currently there is no expiry for re-ocurring tasks, you can set it up for intervals only which will continue until you remove them. At times, tasks are for a term period for example 2024-2028. Currently, in the year of 2028, you'd have to remember that the term was only 5 years and delete the task. This poses risk to process a task that shouldn't, vs having the option to input an expiry date for the task reminder to end in 2028.

  16. It would be nice that when we have a task that needs to be done that the task button is red, not just when the task is overdue. That way it signifies that we have a task to do. Additionally, when we have a grant or something that needs approval, when we log in an are on the dashboard, we see the item in red so we know we need to go approve etc

  17. A simple idea that would help us a lot is to have checkboxes for alerts of important dates such as birthdays, anniversaries, etc when creating profiles. A step better would be receiving an email with this alert . Would be much easier than setting a task for each date for every profile .

  18. In CSuite, there is an issue where if you assign a Task to yourself as the assignee, the Outlook calendar event does not show up in your calendar even if you check off the box to send it. It would be so helpful to have that option to automatically receive the Outlook calendar event when a task is assigned to yourself.

  19. When you add a regular task to a profile or fund, you have the option to share with others. When you add an opp task, you do not have that option and instead you must create the task, edit the task and then share with others. It would save SO much time if this feature could be added to opportunity tasks.

  20. We want to see items that do not have a file attached....specifically vouchers. We want to verify that all vouchers had documentation attached to it before discarding the paper we have. At this time, it appears a Files report only will show you items that do have a file attached but not the opposite of not having an attachment. A "null" option for files would be helpful to see those items that are missing documentation.
