    1. Need ability to apply campaigns to internal transfers. Occasionally an internal DAF contributes and we have no way to record that.
    2. Is there a way to automatically apply a campaign to any donations that hit a certain fund during a set time period? We are getting credit card donations and having to manually apply them to the campaign.

  1. Can a function be created to sync a new Csuite campaign into an already existing Mailchimp tag? Right now, a new Mailchimp tag has to be created for each Csuite campaign causing clutter in Mailchimp. For reoccurring newsletters, having the option to sync individual campaigns into the same tag would be very helpful.

  2. Allow for the option to add 'all emails' or just 'primary emails' from a report to a Campaign. When there is more than one email on a profile, we want the ability to add them all to an email campaign.

  3. Right now, if you add profile groups from the campaign directly, or from a report, you get four option buttons for how to add them (see attached screenshots). If you add profiles to a campaign from some other part of CSuite, such as a search and filtered group, for some odd reason it only gives you two of those options instead of all four. Why? That doesn't make any sense. Can you please change the system so that all four of those options come up wherever you add profiles from to a campaign? Thank you.

  4. Provide the ability to indicate on a profile the use of 'bulk mail pointer'. This was a function in FIMS where the profile could point to a different profile when a mass mail list was being produced. The report (campaign) would have an option to use the bulk mail pointer. This is very helpful when individuals are on more than one profile for different roles they hold. A good example is when a Professional Advisor has a professional profile w/ business address but also has an IND/HH profile w/ home address. We only need to send mail to the home.…

  6. Some donors have committed to attending an event, and we would like the ability to attach event tickets to a promise (with no finance involvement). We cannot use a pledge, as some commitments are paid in various ways and require complex financial processing to adjust and apply payments. Using a promise will enable us to reserve the tickets until payment is applied. This approach will also allow us to present the reserved seats and the remaining balance.

  7. I'd like to have the ability to offer discount codes on event tickets. Right now, there is the ability to create a private ticket, but that is more suited for complimentary tickets. I would like to allow discount codes for a certain dollar amount off. This would help us not have to use ticketing platforms such as Eventbrite, which offer the discount code option.

  8. This was a previous idea (https://idealab.foundant.com/forums/597718-communitysuite-idea-lab/suggestions/46800925-first-last-name-sync-to-mailchimp-added-back) that was closed, not sure why. Like many community foundations, we do marketing! Through Mailchimp! The sync option is great, but missing some important pieces. Please include other fields besides email address. Modern email marketing includes personalization features like "Dear Lucy" which it would be nice to have. Besides the name fields, I could see cases for grabbing ANY other Profile fields during a sync. Perhaps have a dialog screen that asks the user to select/deselect fields for syncing?

  9. When you setup a campaign event you are not allowed to suppress the automated online donation tax receipt. So the donor receives the campaign event tax receipt and the online donation tax receipt. It would be helpful if foundant could add a check box to suppress the automated online donations tax receipt letter for campaigns without affecting all online donations.

  10. I love the ability to archive campaigns and get them off the campaign list, but we would like to be able to continue to see some of the campaigns on profiles. We track programming participants through campaigns and we would like that history to remain easily visible on their profile.

  11. Profiles that are flagged Do Not Mail, Do Not Email, and or Do Not Call should not appear in a Campaign. They do not appear on "Mailing Labels", but do appear when you on a CSV File.

  12. I would like to filter by campaign or campaign group on the Financials "Add Financial Filter" page.

    The campaign page offers an Income Statement, but no way to edit or filter.

    My goal is to combine two related events on one Balance Sheet or Statement of Activities. We have a weekend pickleball tournament with different tickets to sell for Friday (sponsor party) or Saturday (tournament participant) activities. I would like to combine those two campaigns into one campaign group and create financials.

  13. We recently switched from MailChimp to Constant Contact as it offers more options and we believe it is a better platform. Would appreciate it if you would revisit adding Constant Contact as an option for the Campaign API kep.

  14. If the customer has the option to "search existing accounts" (aka existing profiles) before they create a new account to purchase event tickets, we could avoid duplicates.

  16. For some of our events we would like to eliminate the need for registrants to have to add addresses when we only need their name and email addresses. It's a lot of work when we don't need it.

We will often build campaigns by adding/removing profiles based on the same parameters used in an earlier campaign, though the profiles themselves differ based on data updates: e.g. invitations to our annual reception, generating the e-newsletter mailing list. There are usually several steps required to correctly add profiles to these campaigns; we have been writing them down and recording them as notes attached to the campaigns (e.g. "filter profiles by profile type id=xyz and add as household; then filter donations by last donation date<xyz and remove from campaign," etc.) It would be wonderful if CSuite could record these steps for…
