I second this idea, although very belatedly! In an ideal world, I would love to use Foundant as a plugin to Salesforce. This would allow us to continue using Foundant for application cycles while also being able to export application data, essentially the first draft of a student profile in a CRM, into Salesforce.
Our scholarships are not totally transactional. Yes, students receive funds, but they also have an advisor they are in touch with monthly, can receive additional funding for study abroad, and just generally have both success and struggles that it would be so helpful to document in one place. When I am reviewing a student's renewal application, or even when I just have a phone call scheduled with a student, I want to be able to pull up their student profile and see what they've received in funding per year but also qualitative data about their home life, financial circumstance, grades, etc. I want it all!
