  2. It would be really nice to have the capability to add an attachment to an email template. We have set up a "Follow Up Reminder" email template to be used when final reports are due. We request that budget summaries are presented in a specific format. I think it would help our grantees if they had an example to follow.

  3. Because we have many repeat grantees, it would be useful for them to be able to copy one of their old apps into a new one and then make the minor necessary changes as needed (date and amount, for instance). This would keep them from having to re-enter a lot of information every time they apply for a grant. Thanks!

  4. I LOVE the new process specific email notifications! It is wonderful to be able to set up a seperate email for each seperate program. It would also be wonderful, however, if we could choose which administrator receives these emails. Our staff manage different programs and don't all need to receive every email for every submission.

  5. It would be great to use follow-up forms/items internally, too. This is helpful especially for clients like us who still do a s substantial amount of manual data entry. It would be great if we had the option to "Assign To" an administrator, and then reports tracking, electronic signature agreements, etc could be better managed. Plus, this would make our dashboard far more effective. [this idea was born out of the Grants Management session at the Foundant Conference]

  6. In the organization I work with, when, we you identify the grant there are three options to choose from-one time, installment, or matching. Sometimes it is the case that a grant is both a matching and an installment grant. However, there is not a matcing/installment option. It would be fantastic if this matching/installment option could be created or if that is too specific perhpaps an 'other' option with the ability to identify what the 'other' is so that this may benefit other foundations as well.

  7. Hi --

    When I log into your support site, I always have to completely type my username and password. I thought maybe this was just a setting on my PC, but doesn't seem to be. (I checked my settings, and also most other sites, incdluing our regular login to GLM, DO suto-complete my username & password.

    Would it be possible to have a "remember me" box we can check at login, or have the site attempt to auto-complete once we start typing?

  8. Currently we can search by organization and user. I am wondering if it would be possible to implement a search feature by project name. It would be even better if we wouldn't have to enter the exact name of the project. If we could enter key words of the project name that would great.

  9. As we were reviewing our grants for the first itme, we realized that the ability to highlight specific areas of the proposal for other evaluators to see would be very helpful.

  10. In addition to the "Not Included," "Included," "Required," and "Internal" states, add a "Locked" state to report fields. This would allow them to appear on the selected forms but not be editable. For any content to show in these fields they would have to be included on a previous form in an editable state, and then that information would be used as a reference on future forms with the locked state. For example, I have a "Grant Conditions" field in the "Included" state on an approval form, and want it shown in the "Locked" state on a follow-up form, so…

  11. After approving a grant you may want to make a payment and record the payment amount, check number and date of the payment. This is currently doable in the Payment Tracking area but it's been requested we come up with an easier work flow in addition to Payment Tracking.

    One Idea: When you click on a requests Project Name you are taken to the page with all the request's information. At the bottom of that page is the Payment Information. In this section we add a button that says "Make a Payment" and that directs you to the page where…

  12. I would like it if we could up the character limit on our application page. I do not know if this is a reoccuring problem for everyone, but i know our organization has a hard time including all our information, with html included, within the 1000 character limit.

  13. After a few years of building multiple processes and forms, my Process Manager and Form Builder have become clutered with old items. I understand that these are necessary to keep for historical data purposes but I would like to hide them if possible. Steps could be as follows:

    Archiving:

    1) Click Form Manager

    2) Click Configure Applications (LOI's, Evaluations or Follow Ups)

    3) Click the check box next to the form(s) I wish to archive then scroll to the bottom and click a button that says "Archive."

I'm not sure what the default soft order for the requests within an organization is, and it is of course helpful to click the column header to sort through that column, but it would be wonderful if the default was to sort by date, as that is how most organizations organize the giving histories. thanks!

  16. I don't know if other Administrators have noticed that applicants' passwords are not indicated with characters, as before. The box next to password is now blank. I understand not having the passwords evident is for security purposes; however, there are contacts with multiple profiles. Being able to see which of their profiles has a password is very helpful when the occasion necessitates administrators' logging in as an applicant. If you need to log in as the applicant, and you choose an incorrect entry, you are completely logged out of GLM.

  17. Currently, if applicants make a mistake when they attach a document to an application, LOI, etc. they can replace the document with another attachment. This works when they attach the wrong document. However if they attach a document in the wrong place, they can't delete or remove the attachment. The best they can do is attach a blank document in its place. It would be nice if applicants could remove something they attached without attaching a new document.

  18. I've had a problem where I am editing an email template to be sent to a grantee, then I upload a document. When the email form reappears, the editing I did has disappeared. I just sent an email with an attachment that was supposed to have been edited, but I realized it was the unedited version after I had hit send.

    Please help us not have to edit the email twice -- or worse, send an incorrect email!

    Ideas that come to mind to avoid this problem:

    1. Allow us to save the edited email before uploading a document;

  19. Please add Business Titles to Reports Beta. All other contact/address info is available. Proper business letters include titles.

    Titles are available in Data Export. Only problem is, as of today, Data Export is broken. Doesn't export the correct info for Organization contacts.

  20. We have one program that has an open deadline. We get apps for that program every now and then. Recently I had someone submit an application for that program through the online system and I didn't see it for a few days.

    If I would set up an email notication to go out to admin personnel so we would be alerted to the submission of these application it would be cumbersome for all of our people with admin rights to received numerous emails about all submitted forms for all of our processes.
