Multiple Email Options for Communications
When individuals unsubscribe from Mailchimp emails, it is impossible to discern if they want to unsubscribe just from marketing/ communication emails and who should just simply be marked "do not email". If Foundant could add choices on emails that indicates something to the effect of, "Marketing Emails" and/or "Foundation business" as boxes to check as options, similar to "mailing" or "inactive" for mailing addresses, that would be very helpful. Currently, if someone unsubscribes from a MailChimp blast, there is no way to realistically remove that person from marketing email blasts unless you go 1-by-1 and remove them from every campaign…

Add conditional logic to custom fields
It would be great if we had the ability to enable conditional logic to custom fields.

it makes absolutely no sense that we have to relog in and enter our emails and passwords a second time to reach idea lab.
If you are already logged into CS you should not have to log into Idea Lab...it should be accessible through CS

Review all letters in CSuite similar to the Fund Statement review function
Implement the same viewing and reviewing capabilities that exist for fund statements for all letters including tax receipts, grant letters, and award letters—possibly adding the send option after it is reviewed.

User Sign In: Always include "Forgot Password" link on login page
The "Forgot Password" link on the login page only appears after a user has a failed login attempt - but it should be present on the login screen always.
Many staff members know they've forgotten their password and thus don't even bother trying to log in. This leads to a significant number of calls to our internal helpdesk, and we always have to tell users "it's a dumb thing that Foundant does, but you'll need to have at least one failed login attempt and then you can reset your password." This is how the first encounter with CSuite goes for…

idea lab
Often when Foundant support is unable to help with a situation due to product limitations, they'll suggest that I submit it to the Idea Lab. I understand that I have a vested interest and want to see the product improve, but sometimes I'm in a state of doing my best to get work completed. I don't always have time to log into the Idea Lab, search to see if the idea is already out there, then, if it's not re-explain my situation in a new Idea Lab post.
I wonder if Foundant support might develop a mechanism where, when they…

tax receipt labels in WORD, not pdf.
Please have the option of printing tax receipts labels in WORD. You can run the tax receipts letters in WORD or pdf, but not the labels. We have so many situations where we may need to edit the labels and cannot in the pdf form.

chat box
Can you please have the chat box stay up on the screen instead of disappearing each time you have to move to a different tab, it's very annoying to have to restart the chat each time.
Thanks!21 votes -
Allow "Self Service" password resets in the Sandbox or add warning that password resets don't work in Sandbox
Because the Sandbox environment disables all system generated emails, the "Forgot Password" feature does not work (the email is never sent to the user).
Ideally the sandbox environment would be updated to all ONLY these password reset emails to send. But if that isn't implemented, at the very least the sandbox environment needs to disable to "Reset Password" options, or include additional language and warnings that the password reset will not work.
Currently our internal staff have to manually reset user passwords AND deal with staff that are attempting to do the right thing by manually resetting their passwords but…

Increased Ability to Make Bulk Changes
Many issues we face could easily be resolved if we had more ability to apply bulk changes. This includes updates and deletions to records in most areas of the system, but particularly grants, donations, profiles, and funds. We realize that Foundant may be reluctant to do this, since bulk changes can be dangerous. However, at some point, we have to be accountable for our own actions. As long as these areas have permission levels, we could selectively assign them to our best people, taking responsibility for whatever changes are made.

Authentication - UX
Make the authentication box on the login screen automatically populate the cursor and ability to type. Once you try to log in, it prompts for authentication. Then, you have to click on the text box, but most of the time, I forget to click the box because on most websites, it automatically is ready to have someone type in it. So I am left typing the authentication on my phone into nothing.

Manual entries - Admin Fees, Distributions, Journal Entries
I'd like to see a link to "create" another entry immediately after posting a manual admin fee, distribution, or journal entry. It's cumbersome to have to back up multiple screens to get back to the "create" link.

Multi-platform integrations via Zapier, Make, MuleSoft, or similar middleware
One of the most limiting things about using Foundant is the lack of connectivity to other platforms that we all use. Even in cases where there is some integration (like with MailChimp) that integration is extremely limited.
I found those ideas all via one quick search in the Idea Lab for the word "integrate." I bet there are many other requests that could also be solved this way.
If you're considering voting for this and want to know more, you can see all of the integrations available via Zapier, Make, and MuleSoft at these locations:
Zapier: https://zapier.com/apps
Make: https://www.make.com/en/integrations

Single Sign On with Microsoft 365
Could C-Suite consider integrating single sign on capabilities with Microsoft 365 for employees? This would increase security and cut back on the number of passwords to maintain per user.

New hire training videos that I could assign upon hire
I have them do the walk me trainings but I would love deeper dive new hire training videos that I could assign (beyond the walk me trainings) upon starting work? I have all our initial trainings saved but so much has changed in CSuite since we initially became a client in 2021.
I am aware of YouTube but that is by date order and mostly updates. Looking for a subset of area specific trainings, grants vs development vs finance vs marketing.
Please consider this. Due to updates to CSuite alot of our instructions that were created upon our start has…

Please add to the home page of C Suite links for our GLM live and sandbox sites as well as our live & sandbox sites.
Please add to the home page of C Suite links for our GLM live and sandbox sites as well as our live & sandbox sites. There are links to IdeaLab, trainings, chat, and so many other things. It would be so much easier to have access to all of our modules through this home page please.

Sync attachments in csuite and glm
It would be nice to have a feature to sync attachments in GLM &/or CSuite over to the other rather than having to attach in both places. Ideally, we would be able to pick which attachments we want to sync over. For Community Grants, we start our process in GLM so we start attachments here and then sync to CSuite for final processing. For Donor Advised/Designated Granting we start in CSuite and include attachments here then sync over to GLM for tracking purposes.

Fund Advisor Portal page title shows /erp/fundmanager in browser
Donors and staff at affiliates have noticed the page title that shows in the browser for the Fund Advisor Portal is /erp/fundmanager. Can it be set to something that's more helpful, especially when multiple tabs are open? "Fund Advisor Portal" or "Donor Portal" would work.

Widgets on Home Page
Live-updating "widgets" on the CSuite home page that can show info about chosen funds, campaigns, or profiles. There is a lot of wasted open space on the home page, and it would save a lot of clicking if we could select certain pieces of information to be surfaced automatically like this when we open CSuite. I imagine a button on each profile/campaign/fund page like "add to home page" that would then add the corresponding widget. A fund widget could show the balance and the last two transactions, for example. A campaign widget could show tickets sold for an event.
