  1. If a scholarship is retired or no longer being used, the ability to inactivate it would be helpful. This would allow that list of scholarships in the scholarships menu to just reflect active scholarships.

  3. The ability to create additional account types would be a huge timesaver. The Account Types offered currently are too few in number and can't possibly align with the account types (or groupings) of the typical user. Custom account types would also simply the process of creating financial views.

  4. It's pretty frustrating for folks to have to remember all their passwords across C Suite / GLM / SLM / Compass and Idea Lab. Especially when they don't all update on the same schedule. Would be great to have some synching of the platforms.

  5. It would be nice on the bank reconciliation to show a list of outstanding items with the totals at the bottom of the bank reconciliation, so it's a complete report which will tie into the Balance Sheet.

  6. Similar to grants create an "Approval" bucket for scholarships so the scholarships would go from New, Approval, Open. Allow approval to be based upon each scholarship & not just each fund.

    This would give foundations that are not using the SLM product another layer/level of approval and segregation of duties. Currently, they can only differentiate who does what based upon the permission groups that each user is in. This makes it harder for the teams to administer when they have a large scholarship team.

  7. When we "Make Inactive" a CSuite user when an employee leaves, it should automatically turn off any notifications to that user.

    Currently, we have to remember that a person is receiving "grant request notification" emails for example, and uncheck the box manually BEFORE deactivating the user, or else those emails will continue. Worse, when you go to see whether they are included in the list of people receiving this notification, their name won't even appear... which requires you to reactivate the user just to be able to turn the notifications off.

    It's nice when you don't have to do these…

  8. Add more payment methods for Recurring Donations. I have some donors that prefer ACH'd donations every month that come directly to our Bank Account. It would be nice if I could add a recurring donation for the same amount every month and have it marked either Other Payment or Check.

  11. 1- Ability to import securities - helpful as some donors contribute 20+ stocks at a time

    2 -Auto complete the description of the security (but field should be able to be edited if needed). The database pulls the high / low information so it should also be able to pull the name of the security

    3 - Keep the securities listed in the order they are entered. For some reason csuite re-orders (in no particular order) the securities after saving the entry making it difficult to review the stock gift entry

  12. Our fund advisors would like to be able to see the In Memory of/In Honor of fields as well as the Recognition field of a donation. I would hope this would be an easy add to the fund advisor permissions.

  13. It would be helpful if, in the donor portal, it was clear to the fundholder that the Description field is visible to grantees but the Notes field is visible only internally. We have donors enter info in Notes that they want the grantee to see (e.g. "Thanks for all you do, from Joe Smith"), and we have to choose to copy it into the Grant Description field (labor intensive) or ignore it.

  14. Currently, profiles can be invited to a campaign in mass but RSVP and attendance must be set profile-by-profile which is a significant time commitment.

  16. Please make the grant_ letter_ email_ body template in site custom content HTML compatible! It appears every template is html compatible except this one.

    Without the compatibility, you are unable to create line breaks or format any text which is very frustrating.

  17. Just tried copying a grant in CSuite - sweet! However, once you copy it comes up with the old grant date and the old pay schedule date. It should copy to current dates. Also, the expense account does not transfer over. And, as we now have custom fields, any custom fields too - thanks!

  18. Hi! When reviewing grants on the New, Approval or Voucher tabs in the Grant section the "Grant Type" is a visible column. However, when reviewing the Grants on a Grantee profile, this column is missing. You have to click within the grant to be able to view the grant type. It would be helpful for us to have the grant type visible along with the other columns already there (ID, Grant Date, Fund Status, Amount, Sponsored Org, Beneficiary, Description)

  19. For staff answering questions from nonprofits about grants they received, it would really help to have the Anonymous flag in the grid so it's easy to see and make sure they don't divulge donor names if they are not supposed to.

  20. It would be helpful if an "Open Opportunity" pop up notification comes up when entering a donation. Just how Open Pledges show up when entering a donation for a profile that has an open pledge (picture). This would an amazing feature, especially if there's over 100 opportunities created.
