  1. We use the short name for funds regularly, and would like to be able to search the short name of funds in multiple areas. Today, I am in the Set Scholarship Fund area and this area does not allow for searching by Fund short name. Can the Fund short name be searchable across the CSuite site?

  2. Currently there is no merge field in templates for Donation Advisor, versus Donor Name. For advised donations, it would be helpful to have a template that includes the fields for the advisor instead of the technical "donor." For example, Schwab Charitable may be the source of the donation check, but John Smith was the advisor for that donation. We don't want to thank Schwab; we want to thank John Smith. Right now, we must edit the thank you and it would be great if we could automate this process.

In order to comply with British Columbia privacy laws, we need to achieve "express consent" to share donor info via the donation pathway and track that consent so that info is shared appropriately with fund advisors. I'd like to see CSuite help us achieve that via the donation process with the addition of a checkbox during checkout.

    The checkbox could look similar to the “Donation in Honour of” checkbox and read something like:

    [_] Yes please share my name and contact information with the xxxFund Holder/Charity so they can contact me directly to share information about their programs and campaigns.…

  5. We so appreciate the ability to email our grant letters, thank you for bringing that improvement! I imagine this will be more difficult to pull off on a technical level than some other suggestions being made for improvement, so this falls into the category of "shoot for the stars!"

    Would it be possible for you to enable the ability to EDIT the grant letters before emailing them? Despite our having many templates in place, to try and cover all of our various scenarios, we find ourselves often having to make edits to the grant letters we generate for printing.

  6. The payment date for grants should automatically become the check date. It doesn't make sense for the payment date to be the date it was entered and causes confusion with donors wondering why organizations haven't received checks when the payment date is before the grant date and/or before the date checks are run.

  7. Please split the Voucher bucket into 2 different buckets. One for Vouchers that have been created and one for items awaiting voucher. It is very confusing to try and figure out if an error is made or something missed when creating grant vouchers and having them stay in the same bucket once created.

  9. We would like an option for changes to households to populate/update the individual profiles linked to that household.

    Now, when we make an address change or a change to Profile Types for a household profile, we must make the same changes to each individual profile linked to that household - in other words, we often must make the same exact edit on three or more profiles.

  10. Currently, the ? icon for the "sponsored org" field indicates this is the vendor the check will be made out to. We're having trouble making that work when giving to a group with a fiscal sponsor, though this is the field we've been directed to use for those situations. The check needs to be made out to the fiscal sponsor, since that's the legal entity, but it makes no sense to put the sponsor in the "Sponsored Org" field, since it's the opposite of that.   11. Please make Grant Notify specific to the advisor who made the recommendation. There are many funds with multiple advisors and only the person who recommended the grant should receive notification that it has arrived or is being paid. Telling all the relatives every time one makes a grant is intrusive.

  12. For stronger internal controls, our auditors recommended the addition of two pieces to the Bank Reconciliation process in CSuite:

    1. Approvals, to support our actual workflow. We have one team member that reconciles the account, and another that approves the work. It would be wonderful if we could enable approvals like we can with Vouchers or other areas of the system.

  13. Could a custom report for Opportunity ALSO include available fields for Opp Task Names, associated Descriptions and Notes text, as well as fields for the Profile associated with the Opportunity?

    Currently, there are 3 potential Custom Reports (Task, Note, Opportunity) we can use to pull out almost all of this information, but the Available Fields vary dramatically within each of these, and none give a full Opportunity view or export.

If we have a constituent with multiple email addresses (work, personal, etc..), we would like the ability to mark a single email address on a profile as "do not email" vs marking all of them using the do not email link. Making a single email address inactive is not visually effective to the end-user as compared to red headings and strike-through text that the do not email function provides.

  17. I know a recent update has allowed all contributor names to be anonymized, with a single checkbox in System Data, when they appear in the Donor Portal. It has been our practice to reveal contributor names and contact information to fundholders but NOT the amount of the gifts. In this way, our fundholders have an opportunity to mail their own personal thank yous to those who contribute to their fund.

    I know contributor amounts can be hidden via a fund-by-fund checkbox, but for our organization, with ~1200 funds, this is a large task to undertake. Could a single checkbox choice…

  19. The checks can now be GROUPED in different ways, and you can sort the vouchers in different ways, but when the check run is created, they do not stay in the sort order. The check run isn't in any order that makes sense to me now.
