List of Fund Advisors
In the portal, a donor has asked if we can give him some way to see who is allowed to make a grant request on a fund. For example, the Fund Advisor would allow their children to make grant requests, and they want to see that list of people when he looks at this fund. Quentin said that this isn't currently a feature on the portal, but you can see the list of advisors when you look at grants that have already been created (in the grants tab).

Create Grant Request Dropdown Arrows
On the Portal - Create Grant Request page, under "Choose from previous Grantees or Funds", can there be arrows or similar on the blank boxes so a user knows to click on the boxes to get the drop downs?

Reinstate "show all fund advisors" on portal fund summary page
Before the portal redesign, fund advisors who logged in were able to see everyone who had access to a fund (e.g., if John and Jane Smith were the two advisors on a fund, either one of them could see both of their names as people with access on the fund summary page after logging in). This functionality is no longer available with the new portal layout - could a toggle/setting be added in to reinstate this feature? We've found it's very helpful for fund advisors to be able to see who has access to their fund (for example, agencies often…

Content area for Interest Type on New Portal
When you select Interest Types on the new portal, there is not a content header for this section available to help fund advisors know what to do.
You can see in the attached screenshot that without a content block explaining that the user should select “Edit Information” to add their interest types, it is not clear what they should do.
Alternatively, what might be helpful is if you added something below Interest Types to explain that no interest types have yet been assigned to the profile. For example, if you displayed “None selected” this might give the user a hint…

Fix the Grants > Grant Summary table search function in the Portal
In the Grants > Grant Summary table in the new Portal for fund advisors, there is a search box in the top right that is supposed to filter the list of grantees.
However, at least on Edge, the search box isn't working correctly. When I enter a term in the search box, the entire table is instantly emptied of results, as though none matching my query could be found--even when I search for a term that is clearly visible on the first page of grantees. Pressing Enter after typing my search term has no effect. Deleting my search term, or…

Hide Memorial/Tribute Amounts not working on new Portal
In the new Portal, I noticed that if a donation is marked as a memorial/tribute, the amount is hidden in the contributions tab, but it is still showing in the detailed drill down of an individual contributor. It also shows the amount in the fund summary tab graphs. In the old fund advisor portal, memorial/tribute amounts were at least also hidden in the detailed drill down of an individual contributor. The old portal still showed the amount in the fund summary tab graphs. It would be wonderful if at the very least the new Portal had the same functionality as…

Hide/Filter Statement Vouchers in portal
We would like to be able to hide statement vouchers in the Fund Advisors voucher tab. These transactions are sometimes confusing for the advisor We would like the vouchers they see to be relevant. Maybe this goes further to be able to filter and hide certain vendors?

Customize additional buttons in grant request of portal
We would like to see the option of adding customized buttons with drop downs on the make a grant page of the portal. We would like to add buttons to allow donors to choose special funds we use for regional granting without searching or to choose something like declining ATS for the year with one click.
Having the ability to add buttons and drop down options would serve customer needs with less keystrokes and allow our messaging to direct them to the button rather than a list of steps to take to find what the button would allow.5 votes -

Remove Grant Request from Left Nav Menu
In the new portal if Grant Request is turned on the Create Grant Request button displays on all the pages - which is great. However, there is a Grant Request item in the left Nav bar that is VERY CONFUSING. This does not navigate to anything useful, it's a list of past grants, that is already available on the Grants nav page. Please remove this Nav item and simply toggle the Create Grant Request button on or off depending on the system settings for this.

Have a Fund Advisor be able to upload a document to staff. This would be similar to using a secure email service.

File Categories and "sticky" function in the new portal to organize fundholder files
We use the File section of the new portal to share fund agreements, stewardship materials (for those who no longer receive paper statements), and other documents with our fundholders. As the list of files grows with our engagement, this starts to be unwieldy without the ability to use the internal File Categories (and the sticky function) to organize the files for our fundholders. It would be wonderful to have this functionality in the portal, not just behind-the-scenes for staff.

Fund Advisor Portal: ability to show asset balances
Pool of Investments would be a nice field to have on the portal as it would show the current cash balance. Is there a way to pull asset balances (specifically investment pool figures) in as a new field on Fund Summary? Current Balance accounts for pledges receivable and grant payables - so for funds that have receivables or payables, Current Balance doesn't reflect what's actually in the fund (from a fundholder's perspective).

new portal
In the new portal, the Steward is listed in the middle of the fund financials. After the numbers but before the charts. It was at the top of the page in the previous portal, which made more sense. Can we move it out of the middle of the fund financials?

FA access to donation receipts
I just learned on the Idea Lab Live session that the DONOR tab has to be functional in the Portal for FAs to be able to view their donation receipts, thus making the portal accessible to any of our donors. We do not want this, we want to limit access to the portal to only our fund advisors, while still being able to provide them with the information they need. We are not comfortable with not being able to control who accesses the portal for information. If it is possible to restrict this to FAs, please make it so.

Fund Balance Graphs & Dates
We've had users ask us to add a date next to the fund balance in their portal with the option to view past monthly fund balances, possibly in graph form. This would allow users to view the balance of every month and see the direction things are headed. Also giving the option to filter by dates. Showing them the trend of their fund, especially through visuals, could be a nice touch.

Portal: Fund Advisors - abiity to hide/show donor information by fund
We would love the ability to enable/disable donor information (name, address, email) for each fund portal/fund advisor on a case-by-case basis (verse turning it on/off by type). While in most cases it is not necessary, we have support several unique fundraising efforts throughout the community where this would be a valuable addition to the donor services we are able to provide for our admin. fee. Ultimately, fund type is not what dictates who we may or may not want to provide this level of information to.
