Ability to use "objemail" variable in BCC line
We often include the "objemail" variable (copied from an application record) in the To or CC line when we generate an email to a grantee from Outlook. By including the "objemail" variable in the To or CC line, the email will then be attached automatically to the application record. However, the functionality does not work if we include the "objemail" variable in the BCC line. Since the "objemail" variable is a long string of characters, we would find value in using it in the BCC line so that it is hidden from recipients to avoid any confusion on their end.

Hi John,
Thanks for asking about the use case. We often send one-off emails to our grantees (via Outlook) about things related to their grant (e.g., no-cost extensions, staff changes, etc.). We would like to use the "objemail" variable in the BCC line when we send these emails to grantees. That way, the grantee won't see the "objemail" variable (it's a long string of characters and can be confusing or look like spam to our grantees).
For these one-off emails, we are most concerned with attaching our original email to the grantee in the application record in SmartSimple. If the grantee's response is not automatically attached (because we included the "objemail" variable in the BCC line), that is okay for our purposes.
Let me know if I can provide any other info.

Can you clarify the use case of using the BCC? Who receives it? BCC won't receive any responses from the recipient.
